Just left this place for the first time and will be back soon. I was looking for a Grandma pie and they don't make them. I ordered the Regina Margherita and it was FABULOUS. I have live here 12 years coming from Virginia and before that South Jersey, this is the best pizza I have had in NC. The freshest cheese and basil knocked this outta the park. It was cooked just right unlike the place down the road that overcooks their pies. Nice people ,very friendly. The bruschetta with burrata cheese was delicious, the bread and tomatoes were very fresh and delicately seasoned highlighting the taste of the other ingredients. We had the Tartufata and the meat Amore pizzas. Both were fantastic and the Tartufata was our favorite. It has truffle cream base, mozzarella, funghi trifolati (porcini, shiitake, mushroom, portobello), sausage. The staff is very friendly and attentive We highly recommend Amore Mio Pizza!!! Excellent. I had a big order so got to try a lot of different menu items. First the pizza was great, just right, and especially good crust. Salads were good as well. Owner Henry is super nice and obviously puts customers first and thinks a lot about what makes a customer happy. That is not him in the picture but showing the oven. Ordered pizza via doordash and received everything I paid for and more. Was blown away by the delicious variety but my personal favorite was loaded with mushrooms and sausage. Amazing! We made it back to Amore Mio on a Wednesday evening to give it a second try. In general, we had a more refined experience with better service and clearly more-experienced staff preparing our pizza. Once again, I thought the restaurant's tastefully decorated interior added to the experience. For this visit, we tried the Bruschetta Burrata for an appetizer and were thoroughly pleased. It was delicious as is, but thanks to a tip from our server it was even better with a bit of the strawberry balsamic from the dispenser on our table. I would absolutely order this again. We shared the Regina Margherita pizza for our meal. The crust was perfect and the pizza overall was very, very good. Both of us liked the shaved Parmesan on our pizza, but I think there was a little too much of it as it was on the edge of being too salty for my taste. In addition, like on our prior visit, I felt like the pizza was allowed to rest too long before being served as it was barely lukewarm. These minor quips aside, Amore Mio served us arguably the best pizza I've ever had in Garner. During our visit, we were the only dine-in Customers, although there were several pickup orders. Although Yelp doesn't support fractional ratings, Amore Mio really ranks somewhere between 4.5 and 4.75 stars. read more

Tried a couple of pizzas from Amore Mio last evening based on some positive feedback from friends. Keep in mind this is what good pizza is all about. Please do not compare them to fast food pizza which is mostly what we have in the Clayton market. My son ate a whole cheese pizza and I had the Chicken, Ham, mushroom and bacon pizza. All I can say is delicious!!! Excellent customer service and pizza was fresh and very tasty. Last night, I met a couple of friends at Amore Mio Pizza after seeing it had 4.9 stars and 80 reviews. The menu sounded interesting, and great reviews. There was only 3 empty tables when we arrived, and all 3 were dirty. No big deal. I grabbed a paper towel off the table and wiped it down. It was obvious they were busy, so it didn't seem like a big deal. Then we met IT! IT was one of the rudest people I have ever met. Chastising me for wiping down the 'dirty' table. It never gave its name, never asked if we would like a drink or appetizer. IT quickly demanded we leave if we wanted pasta or salads because they weren't gonna make them for us. Its words were sharp and curt, then it fluttered away. One of my friends tried to compliment the person's star pimple covers, but it ignored her. The rudest was off the charts, and it was obvious our patronage of their establishment was not desired at 7:30pm on a Friday night. So we took the hint and left. We walked down the sidewalk to the Indian Restaurant in the same plaza. Can't tell you if their food is good or not, but the service was horrific. read more

As a first time visitor to this restaurant I'm I have to admit, I'm impressed! They make a great V brick oven/ wood fired pizza. We arrived on their special $10 any pizza night. That right there makes it worth checking out! Warning!! If you wind up liking this place like I do it might make your wallet a little bit smaller The pizzas are pretty pricey. (For instance a pepperoni pizza is $15.00, a Hawaiian pizza is $17.00.. They only have one size pie..) It's worth the trip, it definitely isn't your average NC pizza. At first look, this little restaurant in Garner, NC just looks like any other pizza joint, until you try the Pepperoni Rolls with homemade garlic butter as an appetizer (or even a meal)! They are the best I have ever had! I have been craving them since the last time I was in town. They did not disappoint on my second trip! And the pizzas on the menu range from a yummy pepperoni to multiple gourmet Italian masterpieces! So, if you want to dine-in, go early. Their menu is focused on those items they can deliver with the highest standard. In other words, if you want a chili dog or hamburger, go to Char-Grill.
