I came here around 9 on a Saturday night. There were about 8 people at the bar. The service was pretty good. One thing I can say is, the staff works their butts off!The only time I had to wait on something was towards the end. It wasn't a big deal. It was one lady behind the bar and she was helping a patron. As soon as she was done she came right over and helped me. The menu is pretty limited. I got a meat pizza. It was very good. It wasn't super loaded with meat (which I like). It was big enough for 2 people to share. I'd def come back if I were in the area

SydneyG was very nice and accommodating. Salad was a good size and fresh. Also had an Old Fashioned. It was AMAZING!

first time here, and the vibe was super inviting. staff was really friendly and took great care of us. the food was awesome! fried pickles were the best i've ever had. ranch was a little runny but still good. firecracker shrimp was amazing. definitely get it for the table. burger was super juicy and flavorful. added an extra patty for $3.50, and it hit the spot. only small complaint was the pickle spear tasting like straight vinegar. wish the bun was toasted, but that's just me being picky. overall, great spot. would definitely come back!

Clean restaurant, well-lit and spacious. Great for groups! Great service. Friendly staff. Attentive staff. I had the pleasure of interacting with almost everyone working. I enjoyed the pleasant and welcoming experience here. Delicious food. Unique options I haven't seen on other menus. The Greek fries immediately caught my attention. The fries were good with the feta and the cucumbers and olives. I love this combo. The cheesesteak egg rolls were very meaty and good. I liked the dessert options. The fried Oreos were right on time for my sweet cravings. Delicious! Wendell is so cute and this Falls Local is a gem.

What a little gem within Wendell! We stopped in around 7pm - found seating at the bar with ease. The location is easy to find but parking could be challenging during a busier time of day. Very clean location and friendly staff. The entire time there wasn't a time we weren't check on or made sure everything was okay. Truly nice experience with the staff! The food was good as well. Fresh, hot, and delicious. My favorite was the Greek Fries! The veggies were delicious and the dip *chef's kiss* Will definitely be back!

Waitress was nice, I ordered the chicken Polly and Lynchburg lemonade. Everything was nice.

Oh look! A baby! Sitting at the bar!

Amazing staff. Great vibe. Great food. This would be a five star experience. You know what kills the atmosphere? Babies and toddlers - yes, babies and toddlers -sitting at the BAR. Not at tables. At the actual bar. I'm sure it's legal but surely they can make a house rule to discourage this?!? It's inappropriate at best. If you are sitting at the bar, imagine sitting next to a three year old.

Leather chicken or crouton? Saddest grilled chicken Caesar in Wake County.

Came in to an oddly quiet, sparsely populated atmosphere. Football on TV, a few bros watching the game and having a good time at one end. A couple of older women at the end of their meal, chatting over a table full of dirty empty plates and glasses at the other side of the of the restaurant where we were seated. Noticed nobody checked on them the entire time we were there, which was about 45 minutes. Found it strange there was no drink specials or even a cocktail menu beyond a Manhattan or Ranch Water cocktail. This place has a full bar, so was expecting a basic cocktail menu with a few signature drinks at a bare minimum. Not a deal breaker, just lacking in inspiration for what's supposed to be a great local watering hole. Server came over, asked for our drink order. Couple of diet Pepsi's in lieu of the non existent signature cocktail. We were seated next to the drink station so not exactly sure what took so long for his return, only to realize he was busy gabbing with coworkers at the end of the bar. Literally could have stepped five feet to the left of our table to grab drinks but had to go yuk it up with the work pals. Not cool. We order some fried pickles. They were fine. Nothing to write home about. A bit on the soggy side and the ranch dressing, while house made and tasty, was so watery it wouldn't stick to the pickles. We order our meals. I order the grilled chicken Caesar salad. He repeats back, ok, gotcha, spicy chicken sandwich. I giggled and smiled said no, grilled chicken Caesar salad and pointed to it on the menu in case he just couldn't hear me. At this point, things weren't so off the rails bad that it was a big deal he misheard me. Husband ordered the two patty smashed burger, specifying he only wants cheese and pickles, none of the other stuff. Server seemed confused by the fact that he didn't want the sauce. He asked three times before finally confirming this very difficult order of a two patty burger with only cheese and pickles... Only then he follows up with "that's a single patty, right?" It's getting less comical at this point but we're light natured people, no big whoop, specify for the 4th time and server goes off to put in the order. While we wait, husband's drink sat empty. Nobody comes by to check. Server couldn't be bothered to check on that or the ladies who are still sitting there unattended, as he's back at the end of the bar cutting up with his work buddies again. A woman comes out about ten minutes later, calls out our orders and hurriedly drops them on the table and immediately turns and rushes away. We had to call her back to ask about a refill, which was obviously needed as the empty glass was prominently positioned at the edge of the table. Instead of pivoting to the drink station, she finds the server and delegates him to refill drinks. Other table still completely ignored. Not sure if she was a manager or just disinterested in quality service or both. Upon looking at the burger, it's loaded with sauce. Sigh. Super glad it took 4 rounds of explanation only to have it come out wrong. Server takes it and says he's going to have them make another. I start in on my salad, figuring it's only going to be a few minutes on the burger remake. Salad size was plentiful. Lots of cheese. Dressing was underwhelming, didn't taste like there was any anchovies in it, which is odd for Caesar dressing. Grilled chicken was so over cooked it was nearly indistinguishable from the croutons. Trying to get my fork to pierce a piece was futile as it was either so leathery the fork wouldn't go in, or so dried that it literally splintered. Twenty minutes goes by. Nobody's been to our table. Server still running his mouth like it's social hour. Husband flags him down and says just take it off the check and bring us the bill. Server stammers a bit, then goes in the kitchen to rush order the remake, which apparently never got put in to begin with, thus the 20 minutes waiting on the burger. Not two minutes later, server comes back with the burger and husband asks him to box it up but then notices... The burger came out with EVERYTHING on it this time. Unreal! Server looked at us like this was the first time he heard it was only supposed to be cheese and pickles. At this point we ask for the bill again and say don't bother boxing up the burger. Never saw a manager. Never got an apology or any attempt to make this miserable dining experience better. Server still got a 20% tip because we're good customers regardless of abysmal service.

    Shrimp Po-boy
    Mark W.

We enjoyed a family lunch on Saturday. I think everyone was well pleased with their meals. Service was good and the meals came out quicker than expected. For the five of us, we had two Chicken sandwiches on wraps, one Chicken Cobb Salad, one Ham & Swiss, and one Shrimp Po-boy. The fries and chips were also good. I look forward to a return visit when back in the area.

Been here several times. Consistently good food and service. The Shrimp PoBoy is a great choice. Not crazy about steak n cheese, they chop meat up too small. Facilities are clean, staff are friendly. No beer reviews from me.

First time at Falls Local. Very clean and friendly staff. A very open restaurant with a wrap around bar which was kind of neat. I had the fried pickles, cheesesteak egg rolls and the Italian sandwich. The fried pickles had great flavor but were missing the crunch that I enjoy with most. They were almost a little too soggy as if they weren't fried long enough. The homemade ranch was very good. Cheesesteak Egg rolls were lacking flavor and the Thai chili sauce wasn't much help but they were served hot. The Italian sandwich was the best meal of the night. Top to bottom flavor from meats and toppings fresh bread and the chips were a nice addition on the side. Beer was cold which made for a nice evening. Will return to try some other items on a full menu of personal favorites.

Where things fell short was the cheesesteak. I did it with the wings as take out. The flavors of the cheesesteak were off. I shared it with others and we all said it was a seasoning on the meat or something that didn't go well. It didn't have the taste you are familiar with when it comes to a classic cheesesteak. The wings and fries were good. The fries had a good seasoning to them and the wings weren't hard - so all good in our book. We will definitely return to try other items on the menu.
