Decided to check out Main Street Tavern since it's in walking distance to my house. Walking in I immediately felt a friendly "home" vibe. I felt like these strangers were already my friends even though we didn't say a word to each other. There were a variety of ages ( seems like late 20 and up) primarily middle age looking patrons. There was 1 bartender but she seemed more than able to handle herself behind the bar. If you want food, you'll have to bring it in from elsewhere, but it was a good experience, and I want to check it out for trivia night one Wednesday.

As a dart fanatic, I was happy to find 4 high quality unoccupied dart boards with a seating area adjacent. Ashley was beyond wonderful, and tended to our whole party quickly and personably. Her kind demeanour would pull me back to visit alone. Looking forward to ordering food the next time I visit! There seem to be a variety of wing flavours.

So the salt, smoke and sweetness all worked really nicely together. The had some drink specials for the holiday, I got the Spirit of 1776, the watermelon puree and guava syrup sounded like a good summer drink. They do allow substitutions so I swapped the vodka for tequila. Would definitely recommend! If there are major games, anticipate getting their early or standing.

It was at least 5 minutes before our waitress came and asked us for our drink orders, maybe longer. She seemed to be having a bad night, very unfriendly no smile, was very avious she was not happy. She brought us our drinks and asked of we were ready. They had the boneless wing speacial so wife and daughter got those and I got 12 Jumbo hot wings. They also ordered salads and I ordered loaded potato skins for an appetizer. It seemed to take forever, which I was understanding since there were busy. Eventually the salads came. I love this place except for the bathroooms.. which I wish they would update thier bathrooms. I hope maybe if they read this review they can adjust.
