Tried this place today after hearing soo many great things! Our friends raved about the Indian food and that's what we tried! Garlic Naan, Spring Rolls & Curry w/lamb & white steamed rice. Everything was really good and I would definitely order all of them again. We even had some cracker like appetizers with three different sauces and that was cool as well. Our daughters had chicken tenders and ff, a decent kids meal option. There are a few more menu items I would like to try the next time I visit. The food here has always been excellent, until it wasn't. I've had their Pad Thai chicken and shrimp several times and it was fresh, hot and very tasty. Last night's chicken Pad Thai was tasty, spicy and perfectly hot but I got getting this unpleasant gritty feel to my food. Not just the first serving either. It was gritty like sand had been sprinkled on it. The only thing I could think of causing the problem is the green onions not being properly washed which is kinda scary when you think about it. It was annoying to grind my teeth on something gritty every other forkful! Wash your vegetables better guys! read more

We really enjoyed our dinner at Everest Kitchen and definitely plan to return! The service was quick, food was tasty, and prices were reasonable. It's interesting that they serve other Asian dishes as well, but for now we wanted to stick with the Indian dishes so we could get a feel for their signature dishes. They start you off with two complimentary pieces of papadum and some tasty sauces. Then we ordered a stuffed garlic naan, paneer tikka masala, and navratan korma. The stuffed garlic naan and paneer tikka masala were really good, just as we expected. The navratan korma was something new that we've never tried before. They are vegetables cooked in a sweet, rich, and creamy sauce and it was so good. We can't wait to return! It had been a minute since our last visit to Everest Kitchen, definitely a spot that always is in our rotation. Happy to say if anything has changed it's been for the better! The larger spring rolls are fantastic, Momo as great as always and a meal in their own. I ordered the dragon noodles with Chinese broccoli and chicken as my entree. It was absolutely the best I've had and that's coming from DC where so many good Thai restaurants reside. The pineapple fried rice was fantastic as always. My wife loves the shrimp pad Thai and even in tough economic times I'm happy to say all the serving sizes and protein adds are enough for two full meals. This restaurant honestly now has the best Naan I have ever tasted! No more frozen naan, it's freshly made in-house and absolutely delicious! Not only does something like this put this restaurant a step above the rest, it positively enhances the already excellent entrees and there are apparently more menu changes to come. Fresh food, friendly service, and great pricing. Whenever I'm in the mood for Indian food I'll go here, regardless of how far away I am. Went here just the other day. Walking in its small but cozy and inviting. The service was great in fact I don't know if it was because we were new faces but a few different staff members came to check on our table simultaneously. They were very patient especially given that I added to my dish and then I ordered a naan bread that wasn't on the menu but they still made it for me and rung it up accordingly so I really appreciate that. The food was awesome , I had the drunk man noodle with some added stuff in it and my partner had the dragon noodle. This place is top notch and my new go to for great Asian cuisine, speaking of which I love their diverse offering of Chinese, Thai and Indian, covering all the delicious bases the dumplings and they were so juicy and herby. There are 2 dipping sauces offered with them-tamarind and tomato. Both well made, the tamarind is on the sweeter side and the tomato has a really nice spice, creaminess to it. We get either medium or hot, depending on our tastes. I personally prefer the medium. Sometimes the servers can be a little terse, but they aren't usually in a rush since this place stays pretty busy. I recommend calling if you want your takeout order faster, because the online service will take at least 40 min. Prices might be considered high ($14-17), but you do get enough food for 2-3 people in each dish, depending on how much you eat. We always have leftovers. read more

The food was amazing! This will be a regular for us. But I have it tell you, plan accordingly. The wait is long but well worth it. This place is a true gem in Downtown Wendell. Inside has a divey feel with a bar and not too much seating. To go orders will take a minimum of an hour long. Ours took longer so we had a chance to wait Inside the restaurant and look around. We tried the Drunken Noodles, 6o clock spicy beef fried rice, and the eggplant Holy Basil. The noodles were ordered at medium and had the slightest spice to them. I love the way the chicken was cut in them, not thick or in large chunks- almost shredded but not quite. The fried rice had a kick to it ordered at spicy. The bites of basil were perfect and the scrambled egg was cooked perfectly with it. The beef was tender and the perfect ratio of beef to rice. The star dish was the vegetable eggplant holy Basil. We ordered hot and it was hot!! But I loved it. I loved all the fresh veggies and savory-ness of the dish. It wasn't overly sweet like I've had in other restaurants when you order something with eggplant. I'll be going back for sure but ordering when I'm not hungry so that by the time the food is ready, I'll be hungry. read more

This place is amazing. They have delicious food! We haven't had a bad meal. They serve anything from Indian, Chinese, Thai, to American food. They also have mixed drinks and beers on tap. Cute little atmosphere and outside seating available. My family and I come here or order take out at least once per week. The staff are friendly! We hope this place is here to stay. I took my wife there for her birthday as her eye doctor recommended the place. We got there and no other diners were there. We had great table by the window to look out at all the happenings. We ordered MO MO dumplings and Samosas as appetizers. While waiting the waiter bought elephant wafers, a thin crispy wafer and 3 different sauces for spreading.
