Small place located on Main Street. I ordered the Crab Rangoons, house special lo mein, and sesame chicken. The portions are really good - one of the sesame chicken orders fed me and my son. It came with rice. We all liked the crab rangoons - they were crispy and tasted fresh. The lo mein was okay. It was a little sweet, which was weird. There weren't any vegetables in it, so that was disappointing. Service was good. It's a family run establishment, so that is a big plus in my book. Not a big enough place to eat in, so expect takeout if you go here. Overall, this is a good place to get Chinese food. I'm still looking for my favorite place to go though. read more

Wanted to like this as I really liked the family working there. The food was not good though. I ordered mongolian beef and it was absolutely not mongolian beef--the sauce was wrong, it did not have green onions, and they put in pea pods. The other item I ordered was spicy garlic chicken and first it wasn't spicy at all. Secondly, my husband bit into a baby corn and he said it tasted like spoiled milk. Some of worst Chinese I've come across since I lived in Paducah KY in the 70s. Not sure where to start. Gen Tso chicken sauce was weird and lacked flavor, the chicken itself was fine. The pork lo mein was more like pork fat strips and noodles, horrible. Lacked flavor, lacked the typical finely cut veggies in most lo meins. Won ton soup had ok quantity of won tons, but lacked any seasoning and nothing else not single piece of pork or veggie and very blah broth. The won ton soup we got in S FL at our local Chinese place was loaded with broccoli, snap peas, carrot, bok choi pork and loads of flavor. It was a meal all by itself and very tasty, their wonton filling had seasonings. Crab rangoons were generic. Not a great area for good Chinese food in general but there are better tasting and much better quality elsewhere. Extremely disappointed. read more

Pretty disappointed in our dinner from Lin's. We ordered crab rangoons, chicken and mushrooms, kung pao chicken, egg rolls, spring rolls and beef with broccoli, which was not correct and we received shrimp with broccoli (no go, yukk). The chicken and mushrooms was very bland and was 80% mushrooms. The kung pao was ok, the best part was the crab rangoons. So, bland food, wrong item in bag, overall just a mediocre meal. This is by far THE WORST Chinese food we have ever had!!!! The fried rice is microwaved yellow rice that was not even cooked. The broccoli in garlic sauce is a bowl of oil. The egg rolls and fried chicken are all dripping with oil. All of the food, over $40 worth of food went in the garbage. This restuarant needs to close immediately!!!!!! read more

Absolutely the WORST Chinese takeout in Wake Forest. Everything we ordered today was egregiously terrible. I don't believe that any of the positive reviews could be real people.. or perhaps they prefer to taste absolutely nothing when they eat? Our Order today: General Tso's Chicken: no heat, no salt, no anything. The only taste that punched through was freezer burn. The chicken had a leathery texture. Chicken Lo Mein: tasteless spaghetti noodles with long, leathery strips of overcooked chicken. Fried rice: was NOT fried rice.. was regular steamed rice with yellow food coloring added. Hunan Beef: again, completely tasteless, veggies undercooked and the "beef" had to be bits of rubber with (weak) beef flavor. No exaggeration: we threw everything in the trash and scrounged around the kitchen for lunch. Seriously.. this place has NO BUSINESS being open. Shameful! read more

Nastiest food. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. My daughter and I ordered sweet and sour pork. Brought it home, and they were nothing but a box of rocks that nobody could chew. We called the place, they said they'd remake them but we needed to bring the other ones back. No problem, you can have your box of rocks. 10 seconds later they called back and said "NO, we can;t remake them because the lady made them personally and Will not make them again." So now they're going to refund us. What kind of restaurant serves you trash and then refuses to remake them? Worst place. Worst customer service. I wouldn't feed this to my dog. Just moved to the area and we are trying to find a Chinese restaurant. This is not the place. The spring rolls were really bad, looked like the frozen ones you get at the grocery, little to almost not filling, and not crispy at all, does not look homemade. For food we ordered Szechuan Chicken and Mongolian beef, it wasn't awful but the flavor was just not there.... Again pretty bad quality for a homemade food. And the fried rice ? Omg how can you fail fried rice? This version of "fried rice" was regular rice but yellow. No the classic fried rice with soy sauce, green onions and egg... well at least that is what I understand fried rice is, Otherwise I would have chosen normal rice and not paid the extra price. read more

That said, my street noodles were the first good Vietnamese food I've had since coming to Raleign two years ago. Shrimp large; bits of fried egg roll for crunch;. angel hair noodles like I like. My husband's Thai ginger chicken was delicious and the veggies were crisp. There was nothing crazy about the "crazy" sushi roll. It just tasted good. And it was nice to have the sushi served before the entree for a change. They have maybe 3 beers. The bottles Asahi was dry, light and good. It's a Japanese beer bottled in Italy. Haha. Pretty typical Chinese takeout for the area, though they do have a few tables. I ordered a wonton soup and shrimp Lo mein. Changed the pork fried rice for veggie rice. I don't mind the extra upcharge but the veggies were sparse and the rice on the bland side. The shrimp lo mein was good. Ok so I enjoyed the moo shu...past tense because they lost my business. I asked for well done sesame chicken...when I got it it was dry and mushy, just gross. When I called to ask them if I could have it replaced with moo shu they said no! They said they would only replace sesame chicken with sesame chicken! I told them it wasn't good and I dont even want it anymore and that I just want the moo shu shrimp or chicken. Nope. They wouldn't budge. A co-worker had recommend this restaurant to me because I had the taste for Chinese. She also mentioned that you can actually order online and they give discounts. By now you should now that I am a coupon queen and love discounts any and everywhere! lol Well I was unable to order online and so I called the location and let the owner know that I wasn't able to order online and she stated that it was fine and that she could take my order over the phone and I would just pay when I arrived. When I got there I was able to walk in and pick up my order. Not only was it quick service, but the owner gave me a card for 15% off, which she said I can use everytime I come it to pick up my order. It's your usual Asian fare - it won't totally knock your socks off but it's better than average. Food wise maybe a 7 out of 10. It has awesome staff, speed and service and the serving sizes are ridiculously large relative to the low cost. I can get 3 good meals out of 1 order! In terms of value this place is simply amazing. This place is a cheap take out place.The food is okay. You get a lot of it. Nothing really special besides the amount you get. There is a small sit down area.
