This is the worst Chinese food I've ever had! I ordered chicken fried rice and it was yellow mushy rice and slivers of chicken and that was it! No egg or vegetables or anything with flavor. I didn't even know it was possible to mess up chicken fried rice! I took one bite and ended up throwing it all away. It tasted as bad as it looked and the egg roll tasted like paper. read more

This had to be the worst Sweet and Sour Chicken I ever ate. I threw it away and that is saying a lot because I will eat anything. It was all spongy nasty breading with no flavor but yuk- totally must have come out of a bag in the freezer. The equally spongy tasteless "chicken" was almost non existent. The crab ragoons were just as bad- they seemed to be filled NOT with delicious cream cheese -but instead some slimy foamy concoction . The sweet and sour sauce had a weird twang to it. Family run gem in Wake Forest! Great prices, fast and pleasant service and food was yummy. I was sick and my fiancé wanted something quick and easy for dinner, and had a hankering for Chinese food. This is my go to for quick local Chinese food in Wake Forest. Online ordering is really easy and super convenient. It is not, however, a fancy sit down type of joint, but I always enjoy the food and you get a lot for your money. This restaurant is right outside of our neighborhood. They are very accommodating to our picky family. I've never had a bad meal. Ended up at Lin's Garden because we were pressed for time. It turned out to be a great decision. The dumplings reminded me of the way they're made at my favorite place in NJ, albeit smaller. Our boys, ages 4 and 7, also enjoyed the dumplings. I had the sesame chicken with brown rice which was pretty good. My only complaint is that I only got 2 small pieces of broccoli. I'll ask for extra next time. My husband had the spare rib tips with shrimp fried rice and he was happy with his choice. Next time I'll try the bourbon chicken or Mongolian choices. read more

Having eaten at the best of the best in Chinatown in NYC, not to mention the midtown Chinese restaurants....some of the best in the world....I have to admit that Lin's Garden is very, very good. That's really the only place we will get Chinese food now. Prices are excellent for the portions you get, and the staff is very friendly.
