I found this place on Yelp and had to give it a try. Tiny place with almost no seating to eat in but we took it to go. The staff are all amazing... super helpful explaining the menu and favorite options highlighted. The food was amazing. I highly recommend everything we had. It was my first experience having collard greens so I have nothing to compare them to but WOW they were delicious. The corn bread was over the top yummy too. We had sausage and rib tips too. Once again, I am always willing to give restaurants a chance to prove me wrong... and once again, they have failed. My motto is simple: if you can't see the smoker and smell the smoke, the BBQ is going to be bad. This place is no different. My family ordered the pork belly burnt ends, pork ribs, chicken Philly, and smoked mac and cheese. Let's start easy--the mac and cheese. My grandparents used more salt and pepper in their mac and cheese than this place did. The only ingredients seemed to be noodles and cheese. What happened to flavor? Spices? Maybe some paprika, cayenne pepper... jeez, something. However, as a bit of a warning sign, the mac and cheese had more wood smoke flavor than anything else they served. Next, the ribs. Some people believe in the 3-2-1 method--I'm not a fan, but it can work. These people must believe in the 1-2-3 method: 1 hour smoked on a Traeger, 2 hours wrapped, and 3 hours cooked on high heat in the oven uncovered. That's the only way I can figure out how you end up with jerky-dry ribs. Not only were they dry, they didn't have any flavor. The chicken Philly was dry--my wife hated it. The pork belly burnt ends actually looked great--nice cube size, good presentation--but biting into them was a different story. Chewy, bland, and dry. We tried Warehouse BBQ again and unfortunately, it was just an ok experience and we were really disappointed in the value aspect. The snack plate had about a 5" long piece of brisket (see photos) and the brisket is an upcharge. $20.80 (via the Door Dash delivery option) is ridiculous. The amount of meat was so small for that price! We didn't care for the lemon-y taste, either. The Mac and cheese was ok, didn't really get a smoky flavor. Cornbread was just ok, very crumbly. The best item were the burnt ends. Second try and don't think we'll order again. We love to support local but the prices just don't match the portion sizes or the flavors. read more

Y'all! The brisket! I had the brisket sandwich with mac n cheese and kool-aid. Yes I said what I said, Kool-aid. Everything was amazing. The brisket was moist and flavorful. The Mac was delicious. The Kool-aid took me back to when I was a kid. Amazing!! My friend got the brisket and collard greens. I cannot tell you enough how delicious it was. I've traveled nationwide, and locate a local BBQ restaurant for my own enjoyment. Tonight, I decided to try out this location. My order consisted of pork burnt ends, potato salad, with collards, and a serving of peach cobbler. The potato salad has seasoning I've never experienced. It was terrible, but wasn't that good. The collards were a good helping size. I've never experienced carrots cooked with them. It didn't help the flavor, and it must be used as a filler. I've never been one to like the collard stalks, but I do tolerate them. Using the collard leaf stalks add no flavor either. Now to the pork burnt ends. They are not burnt. The fat texture was the consistency less firm than jello. The sauce used was low in flavor, and zero spice. The desserts are displayed as you walk in. I love a good peach cobbler. The crust was thick, and a doughy paste. Not the light flaky flavor I'm used to. The peach flavor was good, and I liked the small cup of additional peach flavoring. I would suggest a little more cinnamon. The single best thing I can say about this meal is, it'll make a turd. I do hope that you stay in business, but I won't go back. read more

Disappointing. Placed an order after a friend raved about it. Brisket was dry and the mac and cheese size was laughable. We ordered a small mac and cheese for 5.20 before taxes... it came in basically a sauce container. Maybe it's my fault that I didn't whip out a scale to figure out what 4 oz is. The image on the website was deceiving. If the image doesn't change for the size you choose then just show the actual Mac and cheese without the container. As for the brisket,it would make more sense if they had options: moist, dry or both. So customers are surprised by a whole container of dry brisket. My husband and I are new to the area as we were living in wake Forest. Decided to try this place when we wanted some comfort food and they exceeded our expectations! I got the brisket which was so tender and full of flavor you can tell it was made with love for the craft. My husband got a little bit of everything and said it was all amazing. Even when he was full he kept going because he did not want a single piece to go to waste. Pleasantly surprised in many ways! First time here! My wish (not a complaint because I knew this ahead of time) is that this was a dine in experience. It is not a sit down and eat place. Please understand that before you go. However, I appreciate when an establishment that offers to go also provides the ability to order online. I ordered the 2 meet combo with brisket, Mac and cheese and collards, with additional sides (we planned on sharing the plate), 1 order of the 3 bone pork ribs, and 2 sweet teas. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the owner and cook, who was warm and I could tell loved his craft. He also let me try his smoked yams while I waited. They were amazing. Some of the best I've tasted. Heads up his sweet tea is SWEET tea (I enjoyed it however if you don't like really sweet tea you might not). I think he also adds a little lemon to it which I liked too! What I appreciate about the dishes I tried was the flavors. It tasted like it was made at home. Not everyone can do BBQ right especially from up north. We southerners tend to have a certain way we like our BBQ and he definitely won me over. I'll be back! Fantastic! Stumbled on this place while driving around. After talking with the owner, we got the pork belly and some beef brisket. Both were fantastic. The pork belly had a deep, rich flavor. The pork was cooked to perfection. The beef brisket was moist and flavorful. For sides, I'd recommend the collard greens and mac n cheese. We will now go out of our way to go to the Warehouse BBQ. We just ordered a rack of ribs (no sides) and were not disappointed! Recently got a couple of 2 meat take out to try out the bbq. Very impressed. Was late afternoon on a Sunday and a few things were sold out but they had plenty of our typical favorites. Pulled pork, pulled chicken and bbq turkey. Also got a few sides and hush puppies. I particularly liked the chopped/pulled turkey since I have had very few really good bbq turkey, most is so-so and dry. This turkey was great, lightly seasoned, lightly smoked and nice and moist. Fantastic. My wife said same for the chicken and both agreed the pulled pork was some of the best we've had since moving here. The baked beans were definitely unique being sugar free and a bit of a twist on the typical. We both enjoyed them as a pleasant change. We also enjoyed the cheesy mac and cheese with a nice crisp cheese on top and a nice touch of smokiness. Overall really impressed. Large portions allowed for next day leftovers. Would be nice to have restaurant seating, but it's not too far from us so we will definitely be back. read more
