Well worth the money! Lunch was Fish 'n Chips for me; super good crispy fried white fish, not greasy at all, which is the sure fire way to ruin any fried meal. The fries are really good, too, almost McDonaldy. Comes with tartar, ketchup, malt vinegar (asked for), and a really good garlic aioli. Hubs had Shrimp Risotto, which was blackened shrimp over really creamy risotto with red peppers, scallion, and tomato. Delicious. Also couldn't decide who got the better lunch. Our lunch specials were less than $15 each, a bargain today, and we each took half home. Hubs also had a beer, and I had the house Cabernet, which was really smooth. Around $50 for everything; didn't mind spending that at all since everything was so good. Really glad we found this newer place; fingers crossed it doesn't go the way of so many downhill the longer they're here.

Since we arrived just a few minutes after opening, we had the place to ourselves at first and were seated immediately. Here's what we tried: Plato Chorizo y Longaniza - a sausage platter with salad, rice, refried black beans, and two delicious housemade corn tortillas. The highlights for me were the flavorful rice (with vegetables mixed in, including carrots and squash), the marinated chicken, and the sausages. The plantains were also excellent. The ceviche had great flavor but could've used more shrimp. The only miss for me was the salad--generous in portion but iceberg-based, so a bit bland. Overall, the food was fresh, flavorful, not heavy or greasy, and we left with enough for another one or two meals. We'll definitely be back.

You really do 'get what you pay for'. The bar and dining area are casual, modern and inviting. There is also a spacious patio for al fresco dining when the weather is nice. I was particularly impressed with the Salmon BLT. This enhanced version of the classic BLT is hearty, meaty, slightly crunchy and simply delicious. Another favorite of ours is the Honey-Chipotle Shrimp Wrap with lettuce and roasted red peppers. There are plenty of lightly fried, slightly briny shrimp crammed into an interesting spinach tortilla wrap. The unlimited basket of golden brown, almost sweet Hush Puppies comes with semi-soft honey butter - addictive. There are several lunch options on the 'Small Plate' menu (we found the servings to be more than adequate). That old standard, Fish and Chips was done to perfection. The thick piece of delicate, mild white fish was was covered in a light, golden-brown batter. I substituted Fried Okra for the Potatoes, and it was delicious. The Flounder and Oyster small plate is another winner. The ten crunchy, juicy fried oysters and a large founder filet were cooked just right. Small plates also include a small cup of Cole Slaw. The colossal slice of Coconut Cheesecake was simply scrumptious - creamy, smooth and so coconutty. Do yourself a favor and indulge.

When you arrive there is parking in front of the restaurant as it's located in a shopping plaza. When you walk in you'll feel like you've been transported to a trendy, energetic, and coastal beach restaurant. There are also TVs at the bar if you are looking to watch sports. We checked in with the host and opted for a table. To start we ordered the queso (Smoky queso, pico de gallo, fresh cilantro) and added the smoky chorizo. The queso was very good and had a great smoky flavor with a little spice. You'll want to order an appetizer as chips are not complimentary. For drinks my partner ordered the strawberry mojito (Bacardi limon, mint, lime, soda, strawberry) which was good and on the sweeter side. I ordered the Desert Fire (Jalapeño infused lunazul, triple sec, chipotle simple syrup, lime, spicy rim) which was on the spicier side but was so good. For mains my partner ordered the Mahi Wrap (Blackened mahi, napa-romaine mix, fresh avocado, honey chipotle sauce, Caribbean salsa, grilled flour tortilla with seasoned fries) which had a nice balance of flavors. The fish was a bit overcooked but the seasoned fries and flavors made up for the dry fish. I ordered the surf & turf burrito (Grilled shrimp, marinated steak, queso rice, grilled onions, pico de gallo, queso fresco, baja crema, topped with habanero onions & arugula, cilantro served with black beans) topped with the tomato cream sauce. The sauce had a nice smoky flavor and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. As for the steak, kind of the same issue as the fish where it was overcooked/cooked well done. For dessert we ordered the Sugar churros (Whipped cream, caramel dipping sauce) which were served piping hot and they go perfectly with the dip. We ended up stirring the whipped cream and the caramel sauce together. I definitely would stop by salt & lime cabo grill for mexican food but would opt for just shrimp as the main meat vs mahi or steak. Looking forward to my next visit to salt & lime.
