Trying to figure out what I'm tipping since I'm doing several of the things I normally tip for. I get my own beverage, get my own food, and I've had to buss my own tables. I wish restaurants with this type of atmosphere would stop adding this tip line. It's almost insulting to the guest.

They pride themselves in having made from scratch dough using NY water, which makes all the difference. I got home and ate my Rueben immediately, it was absolutely delicious. My daughter who seems to be a Rueben connoisseur, said it was pretty good, for her that's a compliment. The service is great, it's like a big family in there. I'm excited to go back again soon.

Place looked spotless (99 sanitation), and smelled awesome (they had just cooked come garlic). Ordered a turkey reuben ($16) for me, and a pastrami reuben ($17) for him. Waited a few minutes and took home a couple warm beauties. My turkey was piled high with thinly sliced turkey breast. Bread was awesome even though not the usual rye. Sauerkraut very good. However, I could not taste the swiss cheese or the honey mustard that were supposed to be on there. I would have actually preferred less meat and more flavor from cheese and mustard. Even more sauerkraut would have helped as the turkey ate dry after awhile. Husband loved the pastrami one. Said it was some of the best pastrami he's ever had and he could taste the grilled onions, the spicy mustard and the cheese on his. Will definitely go back, but would order differently for me.

Brigs is a solid 3-star brunch spot in Wake Forest. I'm not from the area--just visiting…read morefriends--so I turned to Yelp to find a good place to eat. The restaurant was packed and had a strong 4-star rating, so with limited standout options nearby, it felt like an easy choice. My husband ordered the shrimp and grits, and I went with the chicken and waffles with a side of grits. I'm giving it 3 stars mainly because of the chicken. What came out were chicken tenders, which was disappointing. All the photos I saw beforehand showed full pieces like breasts or thighs, so getting two small tenders felt a bit underwhelming--I was honestly caught off guard. That said, the waffles were phenomenal. The grits were phenomenal. And the service was phenomenal. Overall, the ambiance, curb appeal, and especially the chicken brought this down from what could have easily been a 4.5 or even 5-star experience.
