Second time we've gone there and they were out of an ingredient. This time it was bean sprouts. Wegmans is literally across the street. Go buy some and get your high margins. Chicken was cold. Trash cans were overflowing. Salmon was "being cooked" so I waited and they gave it to another order. So I waited more. Staff was super nice about it. I really want to love BIBIBOP but their supply deficiencies, overflowing trash, and inability to have food hot and available disappoint me. read more

Stopped in for lunch, very good and fresh food. We ordered two bowls and two drinks, $47 for lunch is very pricey - we did have one bowl with double protein and added avocado but still pretty expensive. Bowls tasted great, different options than other local healthy food chains which is nice. The bulgogi was very good, steak was good. Tofu was not as seared as we like but flavors overall were really good. Atmosphere is very clean, casual and bright and cheery. Drink options were really yummy, love cucumber mint! Service was a bit slow, they ran out of cup lids and couldn't find any more. Music was really loud. Plenty of parking a great location off of 98. read more

First visit to this new spot in the Grove 98 development in WF. It's a build-your-own bowl place - pick your base, your toppings, your protein, your sauce. It's a square storefront, with about a dozen tables. Everything is brand new, gleaming and clean. Counter service is friendly and attentive, helping to explain any unfamiliar food choices. My bowl consisted of purple rice, kale, brussels sprouts, broccoli, corn and kimchi and Korean BBQ beef with sesame ginger sauce. Purple rice is interesting. It actually is purple, cooked here to sticky-rice consistency. It has a unique nutty taste that very cool and different. The other cold toppings were fresh and crisp. Brussels sprouts halved and roasted. BBQ sauced in a scrumptious tangy asian-style sauce - sweet and tangy. Kimchi (definitely an acquired taste) was sour and tangy - delicious! Shout out to the Mixed Berry Omija Tea - black tea with blackberry, raspberry and cranberry juices. Really good! Overall, a great new addition to the burgeoning Wake Forest food scene. First time trying Bibibop and was pleasantly surprised. It is a similar setup to a Chipotle / Cava / but an Asian version. You can choose from a selected menu or build your own bowl which is what we did. It is a casual spot where you go through and line and let them know what you would like in your bowl, pay at the counter and then either sit down and eat or take it to go. I thought my bowl was delicious and fresh... so much so that I ate the whole thing. I got a large bowl but honestly the small bowls didn't seem that much smaller. My photo with the kimchi and white sauce is a small while the other two are large. I would definitely pick this up again as a healthier alternative. read more

I'm a fan of Korean food this is more Korean light but still a decent option kind of the "subway" or "chipotle" style ordering where you pick your contents and they build it as you go. Pretty good mix of Americanized options. Couple different rice or noodle bases, four or five protein options and good mix of hot and cold toppings. Some interesting non-soda drink choices. They encourage mixing to find your flavor. Staff seems to have it figured out, and they have rewards/app so you can order ahead if you just want to pick up. We've both eaten in and ordered out now and both were pretty seamless experience. Basically your option is a bowl of your choice and a cookie. Wish they had a dumpling of some kind or worst case an egg roll, but otherwise a nice new option for the area. read more

Was very hungry the other night so ordered to be delivered. Didn't want anything heavy or regular fast food. Stumbled across Bibibop and glad I did. Love that it is gluten and MSG free!! Ordered the protein cup where you can build your own. Love this idea. The food not only filled me up for the rest of the evening but also felt light which is nice. Always out of something. 30 minutes for noodles because once again they're out and at 12:40 during lunch is wild. Last time out of bean sprouts and chickpeas. Also their reward system is always down so not sure why they have one. read more

I have mixed impressions about Bibibop. What's good: The portions are large (especially the protein) and decently priced. Restaurant is clean. Food options are healthy and there's info about the nutritional benefits of ingredients on the glass case. Some staff are friendly. What didn't impress me: There are only 2 "curated" bowls on the menu (online - there are none on the physical menu at the restaurant). It's like a large hot food & salad bar behind glass, where you indicate for the staff to "throw some stuff in a bowl" as another reviewer mentioned. There is no guidance about what ingredients work well together & the staff who've made my bowls the 2 times I visited were not interested in helping with choices. The young lady making my bowl this most recent visit gave me attitude when I asked if there was any avocado that wasn't heavily mixed with the nearby corn. The staff is pretty messy when slinging things into bowls - the ingredients were all mixed up. All in all, I love having another healthy & fast option in WF, but I'm not sure I'll be a regular here. read more

That was a delicious lunch. Never been here and really wanted to try it. Naturally gluten free. I got half seeet potato noodles and kale salad. You get to choose your toppings. I chose Bean sports, broccoli, kimchi (extra), cucumbers and red onions. Added gouchigang sauce, sesame ginger sauce and some yum yum on the side. Spicy. But good. My meat was miso salmon. Bibibop is Korean meets Chipotle. The place is a very typical counter service chain. It was late so I was out of options. I had the sweet potato noodles and the wife had the kale bowl. After adding all the toppings I must say it was very good. It was all fresh and the pickled vegetables were a nice addition. Dinner at Bibibop ended up being way better than we expected. The kids were all about the purple rice, the staff rolled with it, and everything we ordered hit the spot. Really disappointed with this location! We usually order from the location at Crossroads in Cary and have never had a bad experience. This location in Wake Forest gives you half the amount of food and it's not even for the small bowl. I can't imagine how small their smaller bowl portion would be! Ordered 3 Korean BBQ bowls and all 3 are half the portion of what they should be! The manager at this location should train their employees to give the appropriate portion for the price. If we wanted small bowls, we would have ordered small bowls and paid less. A half filled bowl is ridiculous when you paid for a large bowl! read more

First time here... I wasn't sure where to begin and what to order. Staff was neutral in helping me figure it out. It would have been a better experience with some enthusiasm and input. That being said, I chose the Korean Crispy Chicken Bowl. Then picked the sides. All the sides were fresh but the chicken was likely sitting around for a while. It was Definitely not freshly made. The flavors were good but I'm not sure this will make the list for me in the future. May need to give it another try but not sure. We arrived at 6:30. We were told there is no Salmon and they cannot make anymore because they will be closing in 30 minutes ... We also wanted purple rice and we were told the same thing. An online order popped up while we were standing there and they managed to find two bowls of purple rice AND prepare a fresh piece of salmon for this order. The girl at the counter told me " I just work here. There's nothing I can do about it." I was shocked at her lack of customer service. I explained to her this was unacceptable. She made no effort to make anything better. She could've at the very least offered us a soft drink on the house or a cookie. The people that work in the front do not care about customer service at all . This is NEW to our neighborhood and it's very disappointing. that the customer service is so POOR. 3 stars isn't bad, but I think it's fair. This is just another "bowl" place. You pick a bunch of stuff, they throw it in a bowl. No matter what you pick, it usually just ends up tasting like a some kind of salad. You know, a bunch of individual distint flavors and textures that sort of go together depending on what happens to be in that particular bite. It's like Cava, except it's "Asian" themed... Nothing to rave about, but it's fine if you're looking for an alternative to other "bowl" places. If you're not feeling this, you can walk next door and get a bowl at the Italian "bowl" place. If that isn't flating your boat, you can cross the road and get a bowl at the Mediterranean "bowl" place. If you're not feeling that, you can go up the road and get the original buritto bowl at the Mexican "bowl" place. If you're looking to get gross, you can go to KFC down the road and get a KFC "bowl". Whats up with all these "bowls"? Are we really this collectively lazy now? We just saddle up to a counter now and just point/nod at stuff, say, "chuck it into a bowl, I don't care", and then just eat whatever gets slopped together? Why don't we just take it up a notch and have them blend it all up into a smoothie so we can skip the whole chewing/digestion part? But yeah. This was my first visit. The food had good selections to choose from, at a reasonable price. I loved my bowl, everything had good flavor and freshness. Most important to me, it was dedicated glutenfree. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to just order and not worry about getting sick. If you are celiac definitely try it. Bibibop has become one of my favorite new ways to refuel after a work-out! It's been a great way to incorporate lots of vegetables, fiber and protein into my lunch and the portions are so generous, I can never finish the whole bowl. It's a great, healthy option at a good price. I usually just bring my own water bottle and spend just $10 on a heaping bowl that could definitely be split into a good serving of leftovers. The staff is super friendly and generous, especially Erika Facilities are clean, plenty of seating, and convenient location. read more

The staff was excellent. The actual restaurant was clean and like any fast food (think Chipotle or even Burger King). The food was bland and I opted for two orders of kimchi. the food here is always great portion servings, fresh and the staff plus management were also incredibly friendly. for a new establishment of course there's going to sometimes be slight meal rushes for lunch and the sort but even with the large amount of people coming through for lunch when i came with my husband, they moved through the line relatively quickly. their biggest obstacle at the moment is keeping the sunny side up egg topping ready to go (but again that's just the result of how many people are ordering and it's always cooked well whenever i've added it). overall this is easily my favorite new spot to eat - they highlight all their nutritional value as well and it's very easy to control/access the sort of bowl you want to build for your health choices. my only regret is not taking a picture of my meal to accommodate this review but truthfully just ate it too fast. read more
