They were so nice, allowed us to try a salad dressing before we committed to us. Explained everything and we built our own salad. A lot of toppings to choice from and a variety of lettuce options. This location from the menu started out from the outset as a 5 star place to eat. Fair amount of options for anyone who does not eat chicken or beef! I was disappointed that the salmon miso warm bowl was not at this location as the menu suggested. (I checked the day before my visit). We are now at a 4 star: the service was pretty good. Ambiance was great for me! Quiet for the after lunch rush! Bonus points (500) in the awards app ONLY apply, if you setup the app BEFORE your first visit. WOW! I am a frequent patron of this Falls of Neuse Chopt... I also always order the same exact thing each visit. It's a simple Mexican Caesar Salad w/chicken on a WRAP! Nothing special or difficult about this order pretty straight forward (you would think), however that is not the case. More times than few I have been disappointed with the staff's inability to properly construct a salad wrap but nothing like TODAY. Today is the reason I am posting this review to express dissatisfaction with this associates lack of care or concern with a paying customer's experience. I doubt the owners/managers of this Chopt would approve of this or even eat it. This young lady could have easily gotten the assistance of one of her fellow associates to assist if she did not possess the skill to properly prepare a wrap. Others at this Chopt have done it before. Needless to say, I am not pleased and to add insult to injury I paid $16.37 plus a 20% tip for this. Traveled for 6 hours to get here! Just kidding. We did travel that long but we're just in Raleigh so my 3 grands can play at Urban Air. After that it's on to Fayetteville. I was really hungry and had heard Chopt is good. I am delighted to report my Chicken chipotle salad was the bomb! Ultra fresh and crispy greens, hearty chunks of perfectly spiced chicken, half of a small avocado and two very large blue tortilla chips to round it out. Salad, salad and more salad. The menu is a little intimidating with such a variety of choices. Rather than build your own, opted for the Asian crunch salad. It's a melange of crisp fresh veggies, chunks of chicken tossed in a sweet ginger dressing. The bowl is big, enough to be filling, and comes with a slice of crusty bread. This could've used some crispy wonton noodles for a little extra crunch, but was still good. Next time, will download the app and make selections ahead of time so I can choose at leisure. read more

It's been awhile since I had eaten at Chopt but I had a craving for them today since I am eating healthier I figured I visit. I got my favorite wrap which is the Chicken Tinga. This is my favorite wrap they have I have had the salad as well. I like they give you the option to make any salad a wrap. The Chicken Tinga was actually really wrapped well and it was fresh the only complaint I have is there was not nearly enough sauce I usually don't have to tell them to add more but it was still good either way. The staff was friendly when I came in I was greeted. The service was quick although the set up of this location was different then the other location in Raleigh I went to the wrong register and the worker didn't really guide me to where I was supposed. The restaurant was clean and very nice bigger than the other location. Overall nice place for a good but pricey salad or wrap. read more

I was craving a salad so I chose Chopt. This was my first time at this location in North Raleigh. It's very convenient to my house and I am so happy that I chose it. The parking is okay! During the peak hours it can be kind of hard to find a space. My husband was driving so he drop me off and then drove around until I was finished. Inside the place is sooo airy and clean. I love the light wood and choice of color. They have a lot of wallpaper that has a theme which I loved. I also thought that their featured salads can be changed daily. I ordered the Santa Fe + added chicken. I paid about $12 for it, I also had their spiciest dressing which had chipotle in it it was delicious. They also offered a piece of bread and I said yes! I loved how fresh everything was. The staff was really nice and they move quickly to keep the line moving. They had about 3 people that chopt salad which was great for the ever growing crowd. Overall I liked Chopt a lot! This location is slightly bigger than the location in Cameron Village which makes for more people. read more

I love everything here. Specifically the chopt greek salad with panko chicken (I double the chick peas, tomatoes and pita chips). I get it through door dash but everyone at the restaurant is just as nice and some say that's the way to get the real generous portions. I can't imagine getting a bigger salad than I do already but I wouldn't say no. It's so fresh and delicious with their array of homemade dressings that you can buy to have that taste all the time. I'm just a greek salad kind of person but I think most would suggest the Cobb, Ceasar or chicken tinga. Also look for the seasonal menu. And if none of that suits you (are you alive?) you can create your own so there's to dislike here (well...it's not cheap but the portions are very generous so take the rest home and you've got lunch tomorrow). Where do I start? Employees very friendly and extremely helpful. From there, it went down hill. Two of us ordered Mexican chicken Caesar salad, one ordered their own mix. After realizing my salad was terribly spicy, wondering why my salad looked nothing like my husband's, who ordered same thing...hmmm. I asked an employee, he told me what I had was not the Mexican Caesar but something else. The one that I was given was the spicy version...So, he kindly brought me the right salad. However, I can't eat spicy foods and was not happy that I had an unbelievably spicy salad. Also, I ordered the Italian soup...they served me the same soup as my husband. Spicy Mexican chicken soup! I cannot do spicy foods so my soup was a no go. So, both of my items were 100% wrong and I couldn't eat either one. $62 later, yes, $62 for three salads, two soups and three cans of flavored seltzer water. Way overpriced! I didn't eat anything I ordered, I packed my replacement salad to go and honest to god, we drove next door to Chipotle and I got my lunch there. I appreciate the friendliness of the employees, liked the ambience but I won't be back. Way too expensive and just not a good experience. I'll leave Chopt for the true fans. read more

This place is my "healthy habit". It's inexpensive and delicious. It's as quick as fast food and tastes even better. Now, with the "warm bowls" in addition to salads, Chopt is basically a restaurant. Just mix up your menu when you come in, and don't get stuck in a rut. With variety you'll keep coming back and your body will thank you.  Lately I've been down with the warm bowls as the cool fall approaches. They taste awesome and are loaded with healthy toppings. Everything in one bowl, and you can eat it on the go or in front of the computer like everyone else in the real world.  Why haven't I reviewed Chopt before? I eat here 3 to 4 times per week, but I only think to review the big meals. This place should be in your routine if you eat out a lot. (Even if you don't.) Get healthy. Spread the word. A shout out to Isabel and April on Falls of Neuse for making me about a hundred great salads. I see y'all work tirelessly with smiles and enthusiasm every day. I thoroughly enjoyed my salad at Chopt. I will definitely be back! I ordered the Mediterranean Falafel salad and got it chopped instead of tossed. All of the ingredients tasted very fresh with great flavor. I liked how they gave you control over how much dressing to put on the salad; you can watch and just tell them when to stop when pouring the dressing. I'm sure you could also just order the dressing on the side. This place is perfect for healthy meal options. It was quite difficult to decide on just one salad. I loved the creativity of the salads and the sign that explained where many of the ingredients originated. As I was looking through their website, I noticed they have destination salads that change every once in a while and the Vietnamese salads look amazing. I also enjoyed the many flavors of fresh brewed tea offered. I tried the raspberry hibiscus and it was very refreshing. The restaurant was bright and clean, and the employees were so friendly. I complete a to go order via app on 9/17. The salad came with old pink romaine lettuce. The more I flip through was old white pink pieces. I called back to speak with associate who basically said it's normal and they try to pick out as much as possible. Later, the manager came on the phone and stated distribution issue. I told him they should at least notify consumers via the app so they are aware of bad products. This isn't the first time I've got bad quality food from this location. The tomatoes are always worn out and taste like they sat out for days. I do not recommend this location as they are intentional selling old products. Not worry the money or health risk. read more

I'm definitely going to power through to eat it because I want to waste food or money. This is a great salad place. I love that you can build your own salads. The prices are too high. The meat should be included in the four items you can pick and not cost extra. The meat serving is so very skimpy. The atmosphere is very quiet and spacious. The parking lot is is not big at all. I can't believe it's taken me so long to review this place! As someone who really doesn't enjoy salad, I was very hesitant to try Chopt. My fiancé brought me here for lunch and I'll admit, it wasn't love at first bite with me. I ordered the Texas Po Boy salad, which was good, but not something that would keep me coming back. It wasn't until they introduced the new warm bowls that I really fell in love with this place. The Carnitas Verde bowl is DELICIOUS. You need this bowl in your life. Be warned: it is a bit spicy. I typically leave the extra drizzle of hot sauce off at the end, which makes it a lot more palatable for me. If you're really sensitive to spice, I would suggest leaving off the pickled veggies, which is mostly pickled jalapeños. Another thing I really love about Chopt is the beverage selection. They have a really good Raspberry Hibiscus Cooler and a lighly sweetened lemonade from the fountain. The line gets long during busy times (lunch, after work), but the staff manages it really well. Peak lunch hours will take about 15 minutes from the time you walk in til the time you get your salad. The staff greets you with a smile and don't make you feel rushed even during busy hours. read more

I love looking at this building everyday while driving down falls. I've seen this facility transform over the years from Houlihans to Michael Deans and then Tribeca Tavern. This is the BEST this section has ever looked. This place is very bright outside and in. I love the building color option as well as the white bright color pallet inside. Another Chopt in Raleigh and I'm not mad about it! Parking here is wayyy better than parking at the Cameron Village one. I went in on opening day and have nothing but good things to say. The vibe is a bit more homey and the the layout is spacious. The managers were on their A game today and everyone was happy to help people who had never been into a Chopt before. The place was slammed but the employees were really rockstars. They handled the crowds without an issue! It's still a little tight in the ordering/chopping area, but there probably is no real way to help fix that. I don't know if they will be adding it in as they are open longer but I'd love to see the iced green tea at this location as well. My favorite continues to be the Mexican Cesar, I just can't tear myself away! I will be back! read more

I want to love this place. It's everything I want it to be in a salad Mecca. But it's overwhelming! Like really overwhelming - for me at least. So many options. For example you have the choice of 9 different greens to start. My suggestion would be to get one of their salads that is on their menu rather than making your own version the first time around. This will prevent you from making a $16 salad like I did. I got arugula, shrimp, goat cheese, beets, and sliced almonds chopped with olive oil and lemon. It was healthy and completely fresh and worth it, but I would probably come again and order a salad that's on the menu. I'd like to try a few of their dressings as well. They are all home made. If you have a nut allergy - no worries because the nuts come in little plastic containers sealed and are handed to you for you to incorporate rather than them chopping them in the salad. I see the option for soup on the menu but no where in the restaurant did I see what soups they had. They have a giant board showing where everything is locally sourced from and also for all the dressing choices (about 20!) but no soup board. Today was the best day for it, didn't think to ask until after I read it on the menu sitting down eating my salad. Also - no sodas. That's ok with me. But the lemonade was just ok.
