Image of this creation after an attempt to cut it in half... not pleasing! Paid $16.37 plus 20% tip for this!
Mike C.

I am a frequent patron of this Falls of Neuse Chopt... I also always order the same exact thing each visit. It's a simple Mexican Caesar Salad w/chicken on a WRAP! Nothing special or difficult about this order pretty straight forward (you would think), however that is not the case. More times than few I have been disappointed with the staff's inability to properly construct a salad wrap but nothing like TODAY. Today is the reason I am posting this review to express dissatisfaction with this associates lack of care or concern with a paying customer's experience. I doubt the owners/managers of this Chopt would approve of this or even eat it. This young lady could have easily gotten the assistance of one of her fellow associates to assist if she did not possess the skill to properly prepare a wrap. Others at this Chopt have done it before. Needless to say, I am not pleased and to add insult to injury I paid $16.37 plus a 20% tip for this. Chopt if you are going to offer a WRAP as an option ensure that your associates are properly trained to carry out the service.

Asian crunch salad
Mike B.

Salad, salad and more salad. The menu is a little intimidating with such a variety of choices. Rather than build your own, opted for the Asian crunch salad. It's a melange of crisp fresh veggies, chunks of chicken tossed in a sweet ginger dressing. The bowl is big, enough to be filling, and comes with a slice of crusty bread. This could've used some crispy wonton noodles for a little extra crunch, but was still good. Next time, will download the app and make selections ahead of time so I can choose at leisure.

Fast service, friendly staff. Think salad bar but someone does the work for you and this is Chopt. You can have your own salad made or select from one of the predetermined salads on the menu. A drink and salad was $13.

It's been awhile since I had eaten at Chopt but I had a craving for them today since I am eating healthier I figured I visit. I got my favorite wrap which is the Chicken Tinga. This is my favorite wrap they have I have had the salad as well. I like they give you the option to make any salad a wrap. The Chicken Tinga was actually really wrapped well and it was fresh the only complaint I have is there was not nearly enough sauce I usually don't have to tell them to add more but it was still good either way. The staff was friendly when I came in I was greeted. The service was quick although the set up of this location was different then the other location in Raleigh I went to the wrong register and the worker didn't really guide me to where I was supposed. The restaurant was clean and very nice bigger than the other location. Overall nice place for a good but pricey salad or wrap.

I was craving a salad so I chose Chopt. This was my first time at this location in North Raleigh. It's very convenient to my house and I am so happy that I chose it. The parking is okay! During the peak hours it can be kind of hard to find a space. My husband was driving so he drop me off and then drove around until I was finished. Inside the place is sooo airy and clean. I love the light wood and choice of color. They have a lot of wallpaper that has a theme which I loved. I also thought that their featured salads can be changed daily. I ordered the Santa Fe + added chicken. I paid about $12 for it, I also had their spiciest dressing which had chipotle in it it was delicious. They also offered a piece of bread and I said yes! I loved how fresh everything was. The staff was really nice and they move quickly to keep the line moving. They had about 3 people that chopt salad which was great for the ever growing crowd. Overall I liked Chopt a lot! This location is slightly bigger than the location in Cameron Village which makes for more people.

Where do I start? Employees very friendly and extremely helpful. From there, it went down hill. Two of us ordered Mexican chicken Caesar salad, one ordered their own mix. After realizing my salad was terribly spicy, wondering why my salad looked nothing like my husband's, who ordered same thing...hmmm. I asked an employee, he told me what I had was not the Mexican Caesar but something else. The one that I was given was the spicy version...So, he kindly brought me the right salad. However, I can't eat spicy foods and was not happy that I had an unbelievably spicy salad. Also, I ordered the Italian soup...they served me the same soup as my husband. Spicy Mexican chicken soup! I cannot do spicy foods so my soup was a no go. So, both of my items were 100% wrong and I couldn't eat either one. $62 later, yes, $62 for three salads, two soups and three cans of flavored seltzer water. Way overpriced! I didn't eat anything I ordered, I packed my replacement salad to go and honest to god, we drove next door to Chipotle and I got my lunch there. I appreciate the friendliness of the employees, liked the ambience but I won't be back. Way too expensive and just not a good experience. I'll leave Chopt for the true fans.

This place is my "healthy habit". It's inexpensive and delicious. It's as quick as fast food and tastes even better. Now, with the "warm bowls" in addition to salads, Chopt is basically a restaurant. Just mix up your menu when you come in, and don't get stuck in a rut. With variety you'll keep coming back and your body will thank you.  Lately I've been down with the warm bowls as the cool fall approaches. They taste awesome and are loaded with healthy toppings. Everything in one bowl, and you can eat it on the go or in front of the computer like everyone else in the real world.  Why haven't I reviewed Chopt before? I eat here 3 to 4 times per week, but I only think to review the big meals. This place should be in your routine if you eat out a lot. (Even if you don't.) Get healthy. Spread the word. A shout out to Isabel and April on Falls of Neuse for making me about a hundred great salads. I see y'all work tirelessly with smiles and enthusiasm every day. It's part of the treason I keep coming back. See you soon.

It's really good for an out and about healthier option. I always order the chicken Tinga salad with the Mexican goddess dressing!

Mediterranean falafel chopped salad with raspberry hibiscus tea
Jessica C.

I thoroughly enjoyed my salad at Chopt. I will definitely be back! I ordered the Mediterranean Falafel salad and got it chopped instead of tossed. All of the ingredients tasted very fresh with great flavor. I liked how they gave you control over how much dressing to put on the salad; you can watch and just tell them when to stop when pouring the dressing. I'm sure you could also just order the dressing on the side. This place is perfect for healthy meal options. It was quite difficult to decide on just one salad. I loved the creativity of the salads and the sign that explained where many of the ingredients originated. As I was looking through their website, I noticed they have destination salads that change every once in a while and the Vietnamese salads look amazing. I also enjoyed the many flavors of fresh brewed tea offered. I tried the raspberry hibiscus and it was very refreshing. The restaurant was bright and clean, and the employees were so friendly. I think this will be one of my new favorite healthy restaurants.

Their new location is very nice and spacious and there's plenty of parking too! We got the Cast Iron Skillet Cornbread, Grilled Romaine, Hearts of Palm & Lion's Mane "Crabcakes", and Southern Style Plate with BBQ "pork". The cornbread was so moist and the crabcakes were flavorful. The grilled romaine was a revelation - I loved whatever creamy sauce it came with, the candied nuts, and the smokiness of the romaine. The BBQ "pork" was probably my least favorite thing, but don't get me wrong, it was still tasty. We asked for a little more BBQ sauce to go with it and our waitress got it for us right away. The drinks were also fantastic! I got the Autumn Flare which was coconut water, housemade falernum syrup, pineapple juice, and lemon. So refreshing and yummy!

The home fries were cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend!

Lunch with Mom at @elementgastropub Downtown Raleigh, NC…read more My mom supporting me, means everything to me!!! We ordered the Sweet Chili Sauce wings with house ranch for our appetizer! Mom loved those! I ordered the Carolina BBQ Sandwich which was smoked vegan BBQ tossed in hybrid eastern- Western style sauce (whatever that means lol), creamy coleslaw on a Brioche bun with a side Kale Caesar Salad. Mom ordered the Philly Cheese steak which was chopped seitan "steak", marinated mushrooms, house made cheese, peppers, onions served on a soft hoagie roll. It also came with my favorite chips by Caroline Kettle chips @carolinakettle! So, glad they support local! Mom didn't really care for the cheese steak. I tried it as well & it wasn't my favorite. But, we had an amazing time for lunch on this beautiful day! oh, & I also had a Carolina Mule! After many visits, last one being 04/29/2026…read more Welcome to Element Gastropub, a wildly overgrown, unapologetically plant-based oasis hidden right in the brick-and-mortar heart of downtown Raleigh. If you've been looking for a place where the decor matches the menu calorie-for-calorie in pure, unadulterated green, you've just found your mother-nature-loving mothership. Element has one major, glaring ecosystem issue: the service operates on a timeline that makes a slow-growing redwood tree look impatient. I have given this place a fair shake several times, occupied various green velvet booths, dodged low-hanging pothos vines, and worked my way through a good chunk of the menu. Take the Chili, for instance--it's actually quite good. The re-occurring theme here is a pacing problem that turns a casual downtown dinner into an endurance test. It starts at the bar. You order 2 drinks and you watch the bartender meticulously attend to the bar with no urgency whatsoever. And the food service? It's a test of human patience. The gap between your drink order and any food order stretches so long you begin to wonder if they are currently outside harvesting the beans by hand in Moore Square. On more than one occasion, the wait has transcended "slow" and entered the realm of "disrespectful." When you plan for a multi-stop crawl night, one painfully slow venue completely hijacks the timeline and leaves the rest of the night dead in the water. Cheers!

I saw this as an option today and liked how the quesadillas looked online. I'm pretty picky when it comes to quesadillas. I like the tortilla to be semi-crispy and everything to hold up inside with the cheese. Nothing fancy, just mixed cheese/grilled onions/chicken/butter/green peppers. The good on these quesadillas is that the flavoring of the chicken was spot on and the pico was fresh. The downside was everything else. Tortilla was soggy and everything in the quesadillas did not stay intact. The chicken was also shredded, which I didn't like. Peppers and onions were super limp. I'm giving a 3 because I wasn't at the actual restaurant and sometimes food consistency is off from in-house compared with to-go. I won't be ordering this as a to-go option again, though. Your experience may differ.

There are literally thousands of meal plan services out there, and as someone who has tried many of them, Clean Eatz is the most affordable, freshest, and easiest (microwave for two minutes and it's ready, without all the preservatives!) with the best ingredients. I love that their meal plans change every week for their in café options and that there is a tiered pricing structure that makes it accessible for families as well. They also have a rewards program, which is becoming more rare these days, and I really appreciate that! It makes me want to shop more knowing I am closer to a free bowl or 5 grab and go meals! I have also eaten in store with the food they make there and have always been impressed with the size quality and price of their menu offerings. If you don't love the meals that are offered during one week, you can always come in and grab some frozen grab and go meals that are easy to heat up in the microwave and still taste excellent! They have also expanded into pizzas, additional higher protein, options, breakfast sandwiches, desserts, and more. The owner is so friendly and really gives that locally owned, small business, neighborhood feel despite Clean Eatz being a franchise. I recommend Clean Eatz to literally anyone, anywhere and will continue to be a customer for as long as they're in business!
