Service was amazing and all the employees were extremely nice and accommodating. The pizzas were cooked perfectly and the sitting area is very open so you can really sit back and relax and enjoy your friends presence while munching on a pizza slice. 2nd time going and im definitely coming back soon. One thing I love about MODS compared to other pizza places is the wide range of options and topping you have for your pizza. This place is great, a favorite in town. The staff are always very friendly and fun to talk to. The food tastes great and I love that you can order anything you want customized without any up charges or crazy rules! I've had both pizza and salad here and have never been disappointed in what I've tried. If you like lemonades they have two fantastic ones on track, regular and a Marion berry. (blackberry). I've had pizza at other MOD locations and I have to say this one was the best experience. As soon as I walked in everyone was really friendly (to where I thought everyone like, actually knew me). The worst thing about spots like this is when they're sloppy with the toppings when it comes to veggie or vegan orders. This location was very clean and organized and I did not find any unwanted random bits of meat on my pizza. The pizza itself is good and is on par with the other locations. Ok this place has an awesome atmosphere. All the employees seem happy and greet you when you enter the establishment. They were passing around samples of their milkshakes! My pizza was really good. So, I come in here pretty frequently. The staff are super nice and greet you as soon as you walk in the door. One day I came in and it was pretty busy. I usually order a non-dairy cheese pizza with toppings. I guess me and another customer had similar toppings , but they had regular cheese. Without noticing I ended up going home with this regular cheese pizza. It was too late to return back to have them correct my pizza. I called in and the manager Taylor was super nice and told me to come on in and get a free pizza on her and a complimentary free pizza card to take home. I appreciate Mod for their great customer service and ensuring the mistake wouldn't happen again! read more

First time tonight at Vallejo's MOD Pizza. No difference in design from the one in Pinole. There was a line to the door, but it moved quickly. Staff is friendly and eager. Restaurant is clean (but would be nice if customers cleaned up after themselves!). With the overhead music, customers and staff, it gets pretty loud inside. The only real complaint is about the line staff making pizzas. They're all friendly, but really need to pay attention to what is written on the orders so you get the ingredients for your pizza correct. One line staff kept asking the woman behind me about the ingredients for my pizzas. MOD is new to our town, it was busy and the staff is new so it was ok, but hope by next visit things will be more settled. Really glad Vallejo has brought MOD to our town...just hope more businesses will follow because Vallejo is in dire need of other options for eating out. read more

It's a new location so they're still working out the kinks. Employees could be better at customer service. That shouldn't be a kink to work out... Cashier mumbled throughout the transaction and I had to say I couldn't understand him. I felt as if I was a nuisance. They still don't have they're processes worked out. I was standing there at the pick up counter staring at my pizza on the counter. It was a good 5 min. Finally someone called my order and didn't even offer the topping sauce. I had to ask for it. You can get additional sauce topped on your pizza. When I asked if I could add a topping the worker seemed irritated. At that point my pizza wasn't as hot as it should be. Bottom of pizza was burned/Black. I watched as he gave other customers their pizza. Same. No offering if topping. read more

I am very disappointed! I walked on to order my lunch and the check caucasian male who was preparing food was also tasting the food he was preparing. As soon as I saw that I had to leave. People are dying every day and it's sad that you can't even trust the people preparing your food. He took a fork and ate from where the toppings are. HORRIBLE!!!!! I'll never go back again!!!!! The pizza is good but the service is terrible. Every time I come here (maybe once or twice a month) I wait in line for over 20 mins before I even get to order. The people working the order line have zero sense of urgency and today I watched a girl spend literally 2 minutes slowly spreading sauce over a pizza. My friend and I were 2nd in line, only ONE PERSON IN FRONT OF US and we STILL waited 20 min to get served. Ridiculous. Love the pizza but the slow and mediocre service is a huge turn off and makes me not want to come back. read more
