At first when I ordered the little Italy calzone I was worried because I seen a photo on the comments that made the calzone seem small. But I assure you it's a good size Calzone! Crispy crust and pretty dang good. Could use a bit more sauce but that's just my preference.

Every visit feels like a treat! The ambience is absolutely excellent--warm, stylish, and comfortable. The music is always a delightful mix of top oldies and greatest hits, which adds a great vibe to the evening. The food is exceptional--authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. And the wine selection? Simply amazing. Whether you're a casual wine lover or a connoisseur, there's something for everyone. Service here is consistently 5-star. The staff is attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. And the owner? Absolutely wonderful--welcoming, gracious, and clearly passionate about providing an unforgettable dining experience. If you haven't been to THREE RESTAURANT yet, you're missing out. Already looking forward to my 6th visit! Doris S.

The wife and I had garlic pasta with chicken, and pasta Fiorentino with mushrooms and spinach. Both were absolutely delicious! The cream sauce was rich and complex and incredibly smooth. The mushrooms and spinach were perfectly cooked, and the pasta in garlic and butter really hit that garlic craving spot. The overall ambience was classy, but not fancy. The staff was really attentive, and wanted to make sure we had a great experience, which we did. Can't recommend this place enough! This is truly a gem, and not too far off the freeway, if you're also passing through. I don't head through Fairfield very often, but now I might make a point to stop in just for some great Italian. Brava!

I ended to asking my sister if there is any good food around here? And she said, if I want some good Italian food Evelyn's is the way to go. We get there and are asked, if you are dining in or ordering to go? We ordered to go. My sister ordered a veggie slice and I ordered the ziti in Marinara and meatballs, my meal comes with there house salad and homemade bread. The customer service was excellent and the place was busy so I knew it was going to be good. While waiting I was admiring the decor and their toy car collection. I also noticed that they make homemade cheesecake and Tiramisu. I wanted to buy one of each, but next time as I am diabetic and don't need it even though I wanted it soooo bad lol! I get my food and the portions are huge we worth the price and my sisters pizza slice was gigantic. The also had $15 all you can eat daily specials. I will more than likely check that out and get 2 slices to go and try the desserts yummy! I highly recommend Evelyn's you definitely cannot go wrong here. :)

I still had to pick my kid up from school, so it just made sense to slide somewhere close by that never misses. Pulled up to Ristorante Pasta D'Oro -- this was my third visit -- and just like every other time, it delivered. Honestly, it might've been even better. We grabbed the regular spaghetti and split it between my two sons. Plenty of food, easily enough for two. I did ask about the spaghetti and meatballs since they usually run that as a special, but it wasn't available today. Still, the regular spaghetti held its own with no problem. I also picked up the mixed greens salad, and the vinaigrette is different in the best way. It's flavorful, balanced, and seriously one of the highlights. When I brought it home, my fiancée tried it and immediately said I should've asked for extra. I didn't realize it was going to be that good, but now I know. Pro tip: ask for extra dressing. We grabbed the penne pasta as well, which my fiancée said was great. And once my toddler finished his spaghetti, he went straight to helping her with the penne. That's how you know it's fire. On the side, I ordered the mozzarella sticks -- handmade, big, crispy, and cooked perfectly. I believe it came with about four to six, but they're large and filling. Everything was 10 out of 10. If I could give it a million out of a million, I would. Since I can't, it's a solid five out of five stars every time. Pasta D'Oro for the win.

FINALLY!!! We moved…read moreto Fairfield 3 years ago. Being Italian it is hard to find a place for me that meets the expectations of what a true Italian food should taste like. I've seen the sign when driving by a few times. Decided tonight to give it a try... I wish I did it sooner. Perfecto! The ambience and decor is very old school Italian restaurant. The wait staff is dressed as such. The dress code is casual (in case you are wondering). Let's get to the staff. They are VERY attentive. The was never a miss with them. Our server checked on us so often. It was nice. I wish I knew her name because she needs recognition! She was AMAZING! My Arnold Palmer was never empty. The support staff made sure our waters were the same way. The ONLY hang up is that bread refills were $3 (something we didn't know). It might be on the menu somewhere. We don't blame them for that but it's good to be advised. The food came out really quick as well and piping hot. Now let's get to the food that is just perfection. There is no kids menus but the portions are so big that the little ones can share off of you. We got our little guy a cheese pizza. I had a slice and it is really good. My son is normally picky but he was not with this pizza. We also had the bruschetta (I should have taken a picture... my fault). They make it on their sourdough. It was a nice twist. My wife and I ordered both fettuccine. She ordered the Alfredo and I ordered the La Strada (both of us added Italian Sausage). The kitchen was moving! It came out hot and perfectly on time after we finished our bruschetta. It was creamy with so much flavor. Even our 3 year old wanted some (good thing the portions are big). We loved it but we wanted room for dessert. Our server boxed it up our food. We ordered the crepes and spumoni. The crepes were so good! At the end of everything was done. My wife and I agreed. We found true Italian food. Definitely will be back. To the owner... Thank you! This experience has been everything we have been looking for.

I visited a week before to check out the restaurant and inquired in their private dining room that fits about 12 people. I made a reservation for 10 people for a Tuesday evening at 6:30pm. No deposit or anything required and they said we can decorate the room. I just brought balloons and a cake, and cut it myself. The food and service were great! We didn't have to wait long, we were seated next to the bar which got kind of loud but wasn't an issue. We got 2 samplers that came with calamari, bruschetta, and caprese mozzarella. We get complimentary bread and my dad wanted garlic bread. I ordered the crab ravioli which was so thick and with shredded pieces of real crab, so good! Items ordered were lasagna di carne, eggplant Parmesan, tortellini, seafood pasta, chicken fettuccine Alfredo. They don't have a kids menu but recommend ordering side orders of things so we got my nephews spaghetti noodles and one meatball and a sausage. They ate all their noodles. And we even ordered a ton of desserts- key lime cheesecake, chocolate cake, crème brûlée, and an affogato. 20% gratuity it was added and our bill for 10 people came out to a little over $500 which I would say was a pretty good price for our large group and we all were very full. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and a bar. There is also plenty of parking! Perfect spot before or after trying to go wine tasting in the Napa Valley.

The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because there was a fly buzzing around our table and the waiter that I told didn't do anything about it. I highly recommend getting that zapper for the flies because some people can't relax when there's flies around them while they're eating. I decided I will personally just buy myself a purse fly zapper to take care of the problem myself because other restaurants for whatever reason just don't have a fly swatter either, maybe it's not allowed.

A full-circle visit with flavorful dishes and a memorable return after 17 years…read more I hadn't been to Johnny Carino's in about 17 years -- the last time I was here, I was pregnant with my daughter. What stood out to me back then was that it was one of the few meals I could actually eat and keep down during that time, so coming back with her for an early dinner felt like a true full-circle moment. We were seated right away in the bar area, and our waitress was very kind and attentive. The menu has a little something for everyone, which made it easy to find options we'd both enjoy. I started with the Italian wedge salad, which came with candied pecans and the usual toppings. What I appreciated most was that it didn't have an overwhelming amount of raw red onions, which can sometimes take over a wedge salad. It was well balanced and really enjoyable. For my entrée, I had the lasagna, which was flavorful, saucy, and satisfying. I would have liked a bit more cheese, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. My daughter ordered the cheese ravioli with Alfredo sauce along with a vanilla Italian soda with cream, which she really enjoyed. The complimentary bread service was also a highlight -- served with olive oil that had pieces of roasted garlic. We added balsamic vinegar, and it was delicious. I had the blackberry iced tea, which was refreshing and paired well with the meal. Overall, this visit was a great reminder of why this place has stuck with me over the years. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to -- and not waiting another 17 years next time.
