You can tell this store has changed hands. The vegan pizza used to have an amazing faux chicken but now it's like a dried tofurky sausage that doesn't fit the pizza at all. The order online app is broken. The extra costs are high, I think they told us it was an extra 6 bucks to pay with a credit card? The salad was an adventure to get, there was a language barrier so the word "salad dressing", like asking what salad dressings you have, was a confusing 10 minute conversation about sauce. But eventually we did get a balsamic. The frustration was apparent and we were offered some free sodas, but no one in the family drinks soda. They should just fix their food and app issues instead of trying to patch things up with unnecessary add ons. The food is good. I like the Chicken Tikka pizza.. But the service makes the experience weird. When I entered the empty store, the menu board was not working. There was a dirty, laminated menu on the counter which did not have prices or ingredient descriptions of each Indian pizza. When I asked about details, I was handed a very dirty picture book that was made in a photo Department. It was weird and difficult to find the item I was looking for. When I asked prices, the lady acted inconvenienced....she had to ring up the items to get the price. Please do better pizza twist! Be willing to talk to you customers. I'm very surprised at the high ratings for this place. Perhaps it's because of the interesting "twists" on pizza. But if you're like me, living in the Fairfield area, disappointed that there isn't a single Chicago deep dish-style pizza around, and looking to scratch the itch, this doesn't do it. I didn't get a "twist" pizza, I got a pepperoni and mushroom pizza (they forgot the mushrooms) and it was pretty awful. I'm not expecting a traditional Chicago deep dish so that's not the reason for my rating. Overall this pizza was pretty bland. The sauce didn't offer anything particularly interesting and was overused, the crust was underdone and didn't have enough salt, and there was barely any cheese. We also got garlic sauce cheese sticks and it had raw garlic in it. The sauce was also, incredibly, cold. How do you cook cheese sticks in a pizza oven and the sauce under the cheese remains cold? I couldn't eat more than two bites. I don't know how you screw up garlic sauce. All in all, a pretty bad experience. If they're truly making this dough in-house, someone needs to add some salt. Pull back a little on the sauce (or give a lite sauce option). And take that garlic sauce and throw it in the bin. read more

I'd say the only thing really lacking in this case was having different sauces to compliment things. The Paneer pakora probably just not very good for delivery. Not as fresh as picking up and was missing the crunch along with cheese that had cooled off. The samosas had good flavor but felt like very little for the price. The pizza was good though. I liked the mix between the garlic and the bbq sauce. Medium spicy was just enough for me on it. The flavors melded well and everything was cooked through. Pizza is a tricky meal to order for my family. Everyone has such different tastes that if we do decide to order pizza, we're looking at a pretty hefty bill. Fortunately, we were able to avoid taking a personal 104K loan out for last nights dinner and ordered a veggie pizza twist that was exceptionally priced and two twisty pockets (all meat and chicken). We were all able to enjoy our own slice of heaven just the way we liked it. The veggie pizza was excellent. It had everything I wanted because I was able to customize it through their website. Ordering was slightly confusing because some of the wording, i.e. when you're choosing your toppings the title says "Remove topping?" and then there's a list below that you can select for items that you WANT on your pizza. Took me a while to figure that one out. I am SOOOOO glad I stumbled across this place during my lunch break. I originally wanted to go to Evelyn's for that classic slice of pizza but decided to give this place a shot instead. It's not any place fancy but it did have a familiar and nostalgic feel of going to a local pizza shop in your hometown. As I dove in to the pizza, I was immediately hit with spice, creaminess, and acid - everything I could ask for in a bite of pizza. I wasn't sure what to order since I normally only ever butter chicken, naan, and a mango lassi when I get Indian food. The guy (I assume owner?) who took my order approached me with such kindness, broke down the specials, and even checked in on me after I finished my food. Upon waiting for my order, there was an unhoused individual who came in to order their special for the day. Normally the special is just a mini personal, however he told her that he will give her the next size up and don't worry about the pay difference. FOOD is really good here I've ate here about 4times and customer service has always been great here. But yesterday 9/18/2024 around 6:30 according to my receipt I had to pay before the meal which is fine but I was asked to tip before the service and I did not tip . I was going to wait until afterwards. As soon as I paid and did not press the tip button the guy there grabbed the receipt and handed it and he looked upset when he did so. The whole time we were there he didn't ask if we needed anything , and each time he would bring something to our table we would say thank you and he would NOT respond . He was just not talking and when he put down the fries he just kinda let it drop. I also noticed that when he brought us the ranch it was in tiny containers which that's usually not normal. Their containers are a little bit bigger but the containers were so small it was enough to only dip like five fries! So my fiancé got up to ask for more ranch so he said that he was going to charge for that . Which we did pay for because we didn't want to make it a big deal but he charged 1.75 for two small containers. Also ordered seasoned fries like I always do (they are my favorite) but I noticed it looked like he only put salt and pepper and the fries looked white for some reason . They usually have a brown yellow look because of the turmeric I assume that they put on the fries and they're very nice and crispy so that was weird. When we left he didn't say anything. New fusion pizza spot in DT FF! It's located across the street from Evelyns, next door to Saffron. They have a huge sign, and spacious well lit interior. You can not miss it! The staff was very friendly and courteous. Wait time was right on the dot per my online order. I had 2 medium chicken pizza twists and two 12 piece orders of wings. About $71 and change after tax. It took about 30 min to get ready. Online they have a variety of methods for pick up: at the counter, curbside, delivered to your car, check in by text, etc. I wasn't sure how the deliver to car would work since there isn't any assigned street parking for that, so I went with the safest option- pick up at counter. Butter chicken pizza and tikka masala pizzas were decent. I like that you are able to customize your spice levels, it's a nice touch. I got medium spicy but didn't taste any heat so keep that in mind when you order. I love Indian fusion pizzas but these just didn't hit the mark for me. They looked and smelled fragrant but the taste was just okaaaay.. I wanted a flavor blast of spice but I didn't get that. The butter chicken had more flavor than the tikka to me, but the rest of the crowd said they liked the tikka a little more. Out of 4 people, the consensus was about 3/5 only.... A bummer. This was my first time trying this pizza spot out. We decided to build our own pizza with Italian sausage, atichokes, tomatoes, pepperoni, and crispy bacon. It was on a specific crust that only comes in a medium size that is kind of known as a deep dish. It was insanely tasty and the bite it had was amazing. I cannot wait to come back and taste one of their Indian inspired pizzas. I ordered this one with no red onions. The chicken was moist, tender and very flavorful! I thought the pizza might be greasy because of the appearance of the sauce, but honestly, give me more!!!!!!! My next bite was of the 3 idiots. Man oh man. All of the veggies pack a serious punch of light but powerful curry flavor! I've never had 3 Idiots with black olives before, but now I never want to have it without them! I noticed a difference in price for the samosas that she rung up and when I mentioned the price was listed different and she changed it as well as take our Yelp coupon discount. So the chicken Alfredo was good but nothing to make me want to come back for more. The price for it was a bit high for what I got. Samosas was way to spicy for me. Literal hole in the wall located in downtown Fairest of Fields. What initially caught my eye was their open window concept they had going on when we were walking by. I wonder if anybody crossed over the ledge to enter instead of taking the door. Don't get it twisted but Pizza Twist wasn't our first choice for an early dinner. Our intended restaurant was closed at the time and we needed a new plan. We searched around and decided to dine here. They were open late on a Sunday and they offered dine in, plus! nobody was there at the time, so we didn't have to wait to be seated. It's a order then pay before sitting down fyi. We browsed the menu to see what they offered. A pizza that has been twisted perhaps? lol. Anyways, they serve up traditional pizza, and pizza with Indian flavors; thats the twist! Flavors such as tandoori, curry and tikka masala. Other food options included chicken wings, nan pizza, calzones, pasta and sa-lads if you're feeling healthy. We were rollin' 6 people deep. We each did our own individual order of naan pizzas and regular crusted pizza and a side order of tandoori wings to share and care. The food did take some time to get out but it looks like the workers were prepping online and take out orders simultaneously so we didn't mind to much. We were chatting it up, you know, shooting the breeze. The nan pizzas came out first, flavors were tandoori and butter chicken, followed by the tandoori wings. The nan pizzas aren't shaped like a circle but more so like a jelly bean. I wasn't able to sample the naan pizza but my friends seemed to enjoy it. The wings I was able to sample and wow wow wee were they seasoned to perfection, crispy with a dry rub. Forseriously, they were the tastiest wings I've ever had. Like damn... they're memorable wings that I must get again in the future. Okay, I'll shut up now about the chicken wangz. The butter chicken and tandoori pizzas came out after the wings. Mine was butter chicken without onies, and fyi the onies they put on it are red onies. I grabbed my slice and dipped it in the ranch the wings came with. Yuhh'umm was it delicious. You could taste all the flavors and ingredients. The crust wasn't too breadly, thick nor too thin. It was all good. The chicken was diced up, tender, and wasn't dry at all.
