Clean, spacious and easy to order. The guy at the register is nice. Always get the gyros and it's pretty solid. I love how there are French fries inside. The beef and lamb gyro is my favorite and very flavorful. The chicken gyro is good too but can't go wrong with lamb! Right now they have a promotion to get a free piece of baklava for leaving a google review or yelp. I went in today from the sweltering heat outside hoping to eat refreshing food inside an airconditioned restaurant. It's really hot inside; apparently the owner doesn't care to have the air-conditioner fixed. The food is good, the service is great. I give the Prasini salad a 10/10. The lamb protein: 9/10 Their receptionist/cashier is always kind and welcoming. I just feel bad not only for the customers but mostly for the employees suffering the heat. If not for the amazing staff, I would probably not come back if it feels like being in an oven inside. Owners, please think about your employees' well-being. read more

This place is hit or miss. Last time I ordered the Greek salad and there was a lot of tomatoes, cucumbers, etc but NO lettuce??? They also put dressing on it so I couldn't save for a meal the next day as I intended. This last time I got steak gyro bowl and fries. The bowl met my expectations. It could have used more steak but it was tangy and flavorful. I would order this again. The fries are little thin shoestring fries. Not my preferred style and wouldn't order again. The chocolate stuffed donuts were tasty but needed to be put in the air fryer for best taste. This place isn't bad and I would order from them again. read more

Nick the Greek has a new mediterranean bowl and it's by far the best thing on the menu. This is exactly what we need since Cava refuses to come to Northern California. The bowl is so different from everything else at Nick the Greek. A lot of new ingredients including the steak, fried chickpeas, pickled onions, and garlic sauce. Highly recommend this one. I have always loved ordering from Nick The Greek, and never had a problem before. But tonight they served us raw chicken. I have a one year old and a pregnant wife who including me ate from this meal. This is unacceptable. They were closed by the time we got back and got into the food but I will be back in the morning to speak to a manager. Edit: I guess the cook from last night was new. Good food and good portions, but giving three stars because I had a piece of plastic in one of my chicken souvlaki pieces. I hope it was a piece of skewer, but I haven't seen plastic skewer sticks before. I think my chicken was fully cooked but would be more comfortable it was cooked longer so that I don't have to question it. I've only had the bowls and fries. The bowls are yummy with a generous amount of meat - I was actually looking for more veggies to balance it. The fries were fresh and also had a lot of meat. I frequent pinole and Vallejo locations. At the end of September, After a dozen or so visits the pinole location suggested I download the app. APP? Ok. Wish ya woulda told me sooner but I downloaded the app. anyways. For joining I received 100 bonus points. I went to Vallejo a couple weeks later and I asked if they wanted to scan my app for points. The gentleman opted for my phone number. My points went up to 115. Sweet. Last week I went to Vallejo and I used my points to get a free baklava. Yum. My points dropped to 65. I asked if she wanted to scan my app so I get my points for my purchase. She said you only earn points when you order on the app. Umm, I don't think so...and I explained all of the above. Told her who had helped me in her location two weeks earlier. She knew exactly who I was talking about and said she would call him. She took my name and number but I never heard back and my points are the same. Monday, I went on to the website and wrote in about all of the above and I haven't heard back. I won't stop going there because the Mediterranean steak bowl is off the hook but, to initially miss out on points for SEVERAL visits before even being told they had an app and then to be told app orders only is a little off putting. I have such a love hate relationship with Nick the Greek. My husband is a fan because he never has any issues with his orders. For some reason, my orders always come out weird or something missing. I usually get the Greek fries. They are very inconsistent. Usually you know there is cheese as it is melted on top and you can see the fries stuck together. Today, I felt like I was eating more garlic than anything. I love garlic, but this felt like it was drenched in it and barely any cheese. I place my orders online 95% of the time and the hubby goes to grab it. It never fails that when I ask for utensils (it says it on the receipt on the outside of the bag), we never get it. Yes, husband should have checked, but then what's the point of entering in there if the employees can't pay attention to detail? If we are in a hurry sometimes we forget to check, but that's the job of the people that work there to make sure everything is added in the bag. What if we weren't gong home right away and planning to eat at the park or by the ferry bldg? Then we would be out of luck. Luckily I only caved in to get food here for tonight, but normally when he wants this, I go to Suruki where it's always consistent. The food isn't bad, but when my food or anything else I ask for always has issues, I stay away. read more
