Came here for a very quick bight. I haven't been here in years, but the lemon cake on display was calling my name and I had to try it. So what did I end up doing? Trying it of course! I love that this place is open 24 hours. I can irresponsibly gamble until whatever hour I want and still get a bite afterward. Food is decent and service is usually fast and friendly (although the line at the register to pay before leaving can back up a little sometimes). Our last stay at the Row was on the way to Burning Man in September of this year. Instead of getting one last great night of sleep and a shower, I stayed up to play and then met up with the group for breakfast. Sharla was our server and she brought out the boys a couple of Bakon Marys ($12.99), a waffle breakfast ($12.99) and chicken fried steak ($18.99). My comps covered our table's meal, even though I was the last to join and ended up just eating what they hadn't finished. I definitely appreciated her friendliness this particular morning as I started to dread the drive ahead and rethink my late-night choices. I'll def stop back in here next time I stay at one of the Row Casinos, which is pretty much every visit since I love the Caesers player rewards. read more

I loved their fish and chips the first time I went there. The order came with a huge fillet of fish and battered fries. Overall portion was big but what you would expect for $27.99. Millie's is located inside El Dorado Resort not far from the check in desk on the mezzanine level. Post COVID breakfast. Servers had on masks and gloves. It was optional for patrons. We were seated right away and service was prompt. The staff was friendly and the food was ok. Everything came in large portions. People who don't eat much could definitely share to save $. The only issue was the hash browns. The first batch came out undercooked. We sent them back and the second batch came out burnt on the outside and barely cooked on the inside. This is probably a good example of a place that looks pretty but the food is terrible. The Place: The restaurant is inside the El Dorado Casino. It is a cute looking restaurant with European style. I've had breakfast and lunch here a couple times. Food just seems to get worse. The Food: Their menu offers breakfast and lunch. During my last visit I had brunch with my friend. She had the "Eggs Benedict," and I had the "Casino Breakfast" -two eggs any style, bacon and French toast. While we waited for the food we had a "Strawberry Passion Mimosa" Frozen passion fruit juice and strawberry, champagne and whipped cream. The drink was OK. I would probably get rid of the whipped cream. Our food came out fast. My friend said her eggs tasted sour (like a citrus taste) so I tried them and I almost puked. I have no idea what was going on with those eggs but they were the most disgusting thing I ever had. We called our server and mention the problem. He exchanged the plate, my friend decided to try something different. So she had an omelette. While we waited for her meal, I told her we could split the French toast, but my food was not any better. The bread for the French toast was hard and it felt cheap. I was surprised! Because I've heard the El Dorado is popular for their bakery. I could not believe this cheap hard bread in my French toast. Eggs and bacon were OK. We also had some coffee. I don't think I've ever complained about Prices in a review but at this place, for a breakfast over $50 (without tip) I felt it was not worth the expense. The Service: Service was great. Our waiter check on us and brought stuff as fast as possible. He changed the bad eggs Benedicts and took it off the bill. I just feel bad for people working at this restaurant with such terrible food. Note to management: Dear El Dorado Group, I hate to see how places with potential are not exploited. I had a craving today for fried chicken only problem is I'm off at 11 o'clock at night. So where it is one go late at night for fried chicken I'd say go to millies. Super crunchy crispy outside moist inside. Good flavor. Mashed potatoes were flavorful the gravy was awesome the biscuit was a little flat and kind of hard not really what I was expecting for a biscuit but with enough gravy and mashed potatoes it fixed that issue. Know one cares about the vegetables. I would compare this meal up there with claim jumper's but available 24 hours. I ordered the double deuce cake/ cheesecake to go... Then I stopped and got some gelato I tried the cherry which was OK except for the cherries that where on top had some weird taste to them. Nice little cafe, tucked away in a corner at the Eldorado. I have eaten here twice in the past couple weeks and service was quick and the food was very good. Because it is in a corner and dimly lit, it wasn't too busy, and it was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the casino and other folks heading to the Buffet. I had the french dip both times and both times it was great. The french fries were crispy and well drained--no extra oil clogging them up! A nice place to stop and take a quick breather. read more

We came here on my Reno Trip and stumbled upon this place. The restaurant was not busy when we came here on a Sunday night but they had food specials from 12am-6am. I ordered the Steak and Eggs special for $6.99 and that was a steal! I would normally have bad luck when ordering steak meals which are on special and the steak would normally be over cooked. I ordered the steak medium rare and it came out just the way I ordered it! The service that we had was good also. My water was always filled and that definitely helped out to stay hydrated! I just went last night for a dessert and got the suicide pie. I was debating between that or the chocolate cake on the furthest right. Suicide pie was alright, sweet yet with a rich dark chocolate flavor. Millie's offers a decent meal at a decent price. I've been here on a few different occasions now and have had a good experience every time. Firstly, they have an entire coffee bar where you may order at the counter and take a cuppa to go in addition to an entire diner. Whenever we stay at the Eldorado this is our first and foremost morning stop. They serve up a decent mocha with a smile. Their prices are a skosh high (2, 12 ounce mochas cost what I'm accustomed to paying for 2, 16 ouncers). I've only ever been to the restaurant for breakfast. They serve all the usual diner breakfast suspects and do so competently. I have ordered their California omelet and have found it to be made with wonderfully fresh ingredients. My dining companion has ordered their french toast, which is haaaa--uge! He couldn't finish it! The service is always fast and friendly. Overall, a great American diner experience! Nothing too fancy--but, hey...I don't expect fancy from a diner :) Get to it! read more

Millies24 is one of those 24/7 restaurants for people who can't handle any more buffet meals (or need something to hold them until the buffet opens again). It has a set amount of food for a set price and theoretically becomes your will power. In reality you can still order as much as you want and actually spend as much or more than you would at a buffet. What it has going for it is, in a city like Reno or Las Vegas, people are looking for food at all hours of the day and night. Being open 24/7 Millie's fills a need. They also offer some real deals if you want to eat between midnight and 6am; Steak & Eggs breakfast for $6.99 as of the time of this review. Because of the time zone difference from Michigan we were awake earlier than 6am anyway so we went for their Graveyard Specials menu. I ordered the Steak & Eggs, over easy, that came with Hash Browns and Toast for $6.99. My wife ordered the 2 Eggs over easy with Sausage links that also included Hash Browns & Toast. Everything was served hot and was delicious. Food quality was very good and the price was reasonable. Service was excellent and friendly as well. If you have comps from the casino, you can use them here and make your meal cost even less; assuming you won. It pays to get up early...or stay up extra late! read more

Millies is awesome. I got to Reno super late (past 1am) and we were having trouble finding somewhere to eat so it was a relief to find this place open. We ate in the actual restaurant and I was happy with my breakfast burrito (and the fact they'd hold the eggs for me lol). Our waitress was friendly and the service was quick considering it was quite busy at the time and full of drunken santa's for a pub crawl. A couple nights later we ended up here again but not in the restaurant, I just wanted to try their gelato and it was DELICIOUS and I love that they have a sit down area for that too. Was here for a late night grub on 11/18/23. When the food came out my sausage was so tough I couldn't even cut it with my fork. So I informed my waiter and she brought back freshly cooked ones right away and I thought why wasn't I served this instead of day old sausages that you can obviously tell was re-cooked? So I asked to speak with a manager regarding it. Mr. Casey (manager) came to our table and as I was stating my complaint, he didn't even bother to mask his irritation and turned around and walked off while I was in the middle of talking to him! My husband and I started at each other dumbfounded and amazed at his lack of professionalism. So when the "manager' came back to our table I told him he was very rude and he picked up the sausage plate and forcefully put it back on the table and left again. Next thing you know, there were 5 security guards asking us to leave! I can not believe we were being booted out because I complained about their inedible food. All this "manager" had to do was manage the situation and apologize for the sub par food they dished out. As we were being escorted out the manager had a smirk on his face and was shooing us away with a snide comment and I looked at the security guard and said " He can act like that but we're the ones being escorted out? How does that even makes sense?" I just want you to know that I have been coming here since Mr. Manager was in diapers and have had great experiences here hence why we come 2 -3 times a year for over 20+ years, but because of this little incident, I will never again set foot in this establishment (The Row) again. Being escorted out like we were common criminals was embarrassing and belittling. Your manger needs a crash course on how to 'manage' and he also needs refreshing course on how to treat customers as his example of it on Saturday was totally lacking. My only regret was not being able to tip our waitress and so she lost out because Mr. Manager was having a Holier Than Thou attitude. This is El Dorado's 24 hour cafe. My friend and I came in here for dinner after checking into the hotel and we were starving. It took about 15-20 minutes to get seated on a Saturday night so it wasn't too bad. I ended up getting their prime rib special and my friend got their teriyaki bowl. The prime rib was really good. Very tender, juicy and cooked perfectly. Surprisingly, the teriyaki bowl was also really good. The chicken was delicious and the sauce wasn't too sweet as it can be sometimes. The service was good, except I had to send my salad back because they gave me the wrong salad dressing and then brought my salad back towards the end of the meal.
