About average in expectations and in food at the Eldorado. Came here to have lunch with a bunch of bowlers and ended up getting the California Turkey Club. The sandwich itself is pretty good. You get a lot of fries. Others at the table got breakfast instead. The server was quick and the 20% discount for being a USBC bowlers is a plus. The only issue at this restaurant are the hours and they aren't open late. Just something to keep in mind if you are in the casino or out and about and come back to the hotel hungry. read more

This spot is nothing spectacular but I enjoyed the food and most importantly the service here was top notch. Servers here were constantly checking on our table. They were older but I think that's why we got such great service. Food came out remarkably fast. The convenience of eating here because it was located in our hotel didn't go to waste as we enjoyed a good breakfast with big portions at a great price and with awesome service. I'm making this rating based off a recent visit to their bakery/sweets counter. We strolled by this place and then I recalled that this is the place that did my wedding cake 17 years ago. For a while we would come back each year to this place and get a different dessert and take it to our ceremony site each anniversary. Today I got the mini banana cream pie. I've had it in the past and remembered loving it and that they used real banana, not fake flavoring. And real whipped crème. It was all of the above. Cute. When you check into the Silver Legacy you get an AI concierge. It's actually fun and quite intriguing. When you ask a question you get a response in a split second. So I asked for a breakfast suggest and Millie's was one of the choices. It's in the connected El Dorado hotel/Casino and convenient. It's comfortable enough, and a typical casino type cafe environment. We were seated right away and given water and menus soon after. On a weekday there were few patrons and although rather empty it was quite nice. Our server was wonderful. Good humored and ready to serve, and patient with making choices. I ordered the Down and Dirty Breakfast, not a bad price, and complete with just anything you'd want for breakfast, except for a pancake or Waffle. It was well prepared and tasty although I was somewhat remiss to having ordered over easy eggs, although well prepared the runny yolks made me a bit uneasy with the Bird Flu thing going around... but I had no problem. The biscuit was extra good and tasty. Overall breakfast and the experience was OK. I didn't find the coffee all that good, but perhaps a matter of taste. It's been years since I came back here and noticed they now don't offer dinner. However, we came by for breakfast and it didn't disappoint. Our server (Isidro) was awesome and the place is well kept and clean. I'm severely disappointed with the welcome and the value (or lack thereof) of the menu. First, the host Malachi had a long line of people waiting to get in. Two lines, one for Diamond level members and higher and the other for everyone else. Although many thousands of dollars are spent getting just to Diamond level, both lines were treated equally, he would grab one party from one line and the one party from the other. We were basically last to get seated. It's like I had a teenager spit in my face and told me that my level (which is much higher than Diamond) meant nothing here. When I asked about it he said, "well everyone needs to eat" which made me upset. Malachi just nullified what being an earning tier credits member means here at Ceaser's Rewards. To wrap this up with a nice bow, if you feel like sticking it to the gamblers who support Ceasers then you should come here, because you'll certainly get to flip off the higher tier members who are stupid enough to get into their line while you pass them by. So why not just have one line? I mean you obviously don't care about diamond member or above so why even have the line? Why not just make it first come first served. Or even better, why not just have a sign that says all the tiers with a humongous middle finger salute? Because I don't see any difference between that and what your current policy of skipping over us is. Next the value. Whoever wrote this menu clearly failed basic math. It just punishes you for trying to order breakfast. How can the eggs and a side plate be the EXACT SAME price as the French toast or pancakes with eggs and a side plate? Does the French Toast cost nothing? Or does the plate that the eggs and sausage come on have an extra cost? If I order just the eggs and sausage am I just an imbecile for not including the pancakes or French toast? Why is the price of the eggs and sausage the same as the price of French Toast, eggs & sausage? We had a $30 credit on our rewards card for a birthday meal. I expressly told this to person ringing us up... instead she just charged our meal to our comp points. Every person in every station failed miserably. They were working on August 8, 2025. Nothing about this place went right. The only reason that this place doesn't get zero stars is that it's close to the hotel room. But I don't suggest going here even if being forced at the point of a scary ultimatum. Gun to my vitals with someone saying to me "eat here or you get this" I'd have to insist on the discharged ammo. Years ago my husband and I would always go here because eldorado was known for their yummy desserts, especially if we are in the area for a sweet treat. when we came it was a Thursday afternoon and we were greeted by two workers. After a few minutes we decided to try 2 new treats we haven't seen before, lobster tail and a key lime dome. We also ordered black coffee. They were happy to grab the treats and coffee without hesitation. We've had a lobster tail in the past at buddys bakery in vegas and thought the key lime dome would be a version of a key lime pie. Both were not what we expected. The lobster tail was crispier and the inside was a paste rather than cream. The key lime dome was also hard. Cutting through the dome was thick and the crust at the bottom was very sweet. Coffee wasn't anything to be excited about, but it was piping hot. Usually we don't waste but we had no choice but to throw the dessert away. We were the only ones at that time who ordered and ate at the tables, which was sad but then again it was also 3 in the afternoon on a Thursday. We spent about $18 including tip. read more

We came here after another place in the hotel had a long - long wait. We were very happy with the decision. Better options, better drinks, and better ambiance. Millie's is a great place to get breakfast, lunch or dinner. We did breakfast and the huge portions and great flavors and other options were just what we needed and enjoyed. The service is a 4 because the pink haired hostess - no greeting, looked annoyed when we asked for a table of six and slapping menus down on the table after lazily sliding them from the counter top to her hand - no eye contact - no smile. Millie's has gone way down hill. The night we were there, only one server was seen...I think her name was Bridgette, and she was running around like crazy. I can't really fault her for our terrible experience..she tried. She was friendly and can only do so much to please a dining room full of customers. However, there is absolutely no excuse for the crap that was sent out to our table. Most of the food was inedible..my nachos were SWIMMING in grease from the ground beef, and the chips were stale AF. His sandwich was boring, and lacked condiments. He didn't even eat more than one fry..they were barely warm, and weren't crispy at all. Everything was expensive for late night diner food. This is our first morning in Reno and when I woke up, I was starving so I wanted to try the café near us and the closest one was in the El Dorado at Millie's. After looking at the reviews, they weren't the best according to me because I like four star and above but I decided to give it a try anyway. We walked up to the hostess stand and were seated immediately in a cozy little U-shaped booth. we had two waitresses that took our drink orders, we got waters and mimosas and I got a coffee also. I ordered the island mimosa, and my husband got the sunrise mimosa, both were absolutely delicious! He ordered the casino breakfast and I got the Denver omelette. The Denver omelette was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. He said his meal was delicious, especially his cinnamon French toast. I had a bite of that French toast, and it was some of the best I've had! The whole time both waitresses were very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The bakery area front has a ton of different pastries that look absolutely divine! I will be coming back by later to get something I'm sure. This is a great café. I was looking for a "new to me" place in downtown Reno, and my guest wanted to try Millie's . I remember when it was another restaurant and I loved it and all its options. Millie's doesn't have a lot of options, but they weren't too bad. We both ordered the Breakfast Tacos. I just wanted water, but my guest wanted a Michelada. It was on the menu with other drinks, so we figured it was available. The server said there is no bartender there. So he got a Corona instead. And then, the server almost forgot to bring it out to him. The service wasn't too bad, she was friendly and told us about the housemade chorizo that would be in the tacos. The tacos were good. While on vacation Over the Memorial Day weekend, went to Millie's my family for breakfast. Had the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. So much so that I will never go back not just to Millie's but the entire Row, thanks to Millie's. We ordered 4 dishes. 2 out of the 4 dishes hade plastic in them. My daughter found a small piece of plastic Saran wrap in her burger. She was a trooper and didn't make a big deal about it. Then I found a plastic bread tie in my food. At this point I was upset and asked to speak to a manager. The manager and the waitress were so unprofessional I couldn't believe it. When the manager came over and asked what was wrong I told her the issue. First thing she said was " we don't use those here" and said "I'm not an idiot". I asked her if she was implying I put it there and she said " I didn't say that" she asked if we wanted 2 new dishes I said no I don't want to eat there. She took out plates and left. A few minutes later the waitress walked by I asked her to take my wife's plate cause she lost her apitite and she rudely grabbed my wife's plate walked away and said "I'm not taking no more dishes off of the bill". I couldn't believe how incredibly rude they are. I was gonna have them take my grandmothers plate as well but she needed to eat because of her diabetes so she kept her plate. At the end they still charged us for my grandmothers plate, a cup of tea and a coffee. I'm definitely not looking for a free meal or anything but at least own up to your mistakes and take responsibility. read more

The dinner menu is small not a lot of options, I wish they have larger selections. I ordered medium rare, it came out medium, not what I expected. At the tip of my steak is a big chunk of fat, the home style fries, which is country style potatoes and bell peppers, the potatoes is under cooked and wet saturated with oil, the bell peppers is very wet (mushy). The server jerardo was the rudest server I ever met he spent most of his time talking to his co workers in the back and never came back to our table. I found myself wandering around downtown Reno in search of breakfast after running an early morning errand and I was too scared to try something new so I looked for somewhere more familiar and ended up at Millies, located inside the Eldorado casino, on the second floor, what use to Tivoli Gardens. As I approached the digital menu board, it was surprising the restaurant didn't offer a whole lot of options but they did have what I wanted, so I proceeded to the hostess station. Since there wasn't a whole lot of diners, I was seated immediately and the purple-haired, young lady was very nice. My server appeared soon after to ask for my order: coffee and a glass of water, and steak & eggs. She brought the coffee over and a little later on dropped off the food without a second glance back. It was fortunate that the buss-person, Mohammed (according to his name tag) came along to offer to top off my coffee because I had no place setting at my table and the waitress didn't bother to ask if I needed anything before she left. I would be offended if I had thought her indifference was solely focused on me but I noticed it was her general demeanor with everyone; I must've caught her on a bad day. But thankfully, Muhammad wad nice and efficient. He even correctly anticipated another customer's needs: the couple seated across from me, the lady ordered tea and he brought her lemon too even though she had forgotten to ask for them. Again, kudos Mohammed. Any how, my steak and eggs order arrived so quickly, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the steak was pre-cooked and just re-grilled to-order; not that I'm complaining because it tasted good. The steak was well seasoned and had a good char.The side of hash browns was crisp on the outside but still fluffy on the inside, and my sourdough toast was buttery. However, the poached egg I ordered was slightly overcooked because the yolk wasn't runny; it was nearly all solid but it was still pretty edible. Overall I would say my dining experience was fair-to-midland: the food was tasty, the ambiance was nice, the service was mostly good from the hostess and the busser; unfortunately, my server was a bit aloof and disinterested but other than that my dining experience was generally positive. read more

We really enjoy Millie's. They have the best biscuits and gravy around. My husband and I also enjoy the breakfast tacos. They are flavorful, and the portion size is plenty for with some leftovers. My daughter loves their waffle--delicious, soft inside with a slight crunch on the outside. The portions are enormous. The restaurant is huge and has a lot of seating. Our typical late night spot at silver legacy is getting renovated so we ended up trying this place. Very clean, great service and we had the chilaquiles and chow mein. Huge servings and they were both pretty good. My chow mein was perfectly greasy with lots of chicken and just perfect for a late night soak up liquor meal. Just stopped by this weekend with the Mrs. and two of the kids. Moderately busy on a Saturday night but we were seated right away. Wife's water glass was dirty at the rim and there was a half of a french fry on my seat so a great start! In any case, we all had breakfast for dinner as we figured that was something simple and hard to mess up. My eggs over medium were fine, bacon was good but the hash browns could have used two more minutes. Cooked but very barely as they were bright white in the middle. Omelets that we had for table were fine and my daughter enjoyed her pancakes. We really missed the bakery and all the wonderful desserts when they were forced to close for Covid. Unfortunately there were a lot of changes and I'm not sure we will be as fanatical about coming here for desserts as we were before. Change one. The cream pies. There was a change in the pies last year and the crust was down-graded and the pie filling was reduced and more whipped cream piled on top. It was a bit of a cheat, you could not tell until you took a bite. They looked the same, but just a thin layer of filling with mostly whipped cream. Now the pies are just bite-sized. They were small before, but really....same $4 price, but small and piled high with whipped cream. I didn't even try one. Next change. The Duce cake is not the traditional layer cake it was. It is about a 1/3 in size as it was and the cheese cake doesn't taste like fresh baked cheese cake. It tastes like they dumbed it down and cheated. Put some pseudo cream cheese filling. Before it was 5 layers and a wedge, now it's 3 layers and a block. I would happily pay more to have the old cake back. Next Change. Previously we were able to pull into the Vallet parking and run up to get the goods. Now we can't do that. Have to park in the garage. I know Covid has done some damage and some changes are irreversible, however the bakery changed and it is no longer the EPIC amazing place to go. I hope someone reads this from Eldorado and gives us back the cream pies and double Duce cake that were truly the best desserts in town. read more

I will most likely be back, and I know that next time, I will try the French toast. If you are downtown staying at the casinos, this is 1 of the few breakfast places at the row. I usually have a good experience here. I come to Reno yearly. They removed so many good breakfast items from the menu, including one of my favorites - the oatmeal. I could live without it but the reason I am writing this review is because our bill was $96 for a party of four. Extremely over-priced, when all we had was mediocre food. Whatever. The server came to our table and handed back our debit card. My husband checked the bank on a whim - we were charged $111! Why the hell were we charged an additional $15? We hadn't even tipped on the receipt yet. Let me clarify - we hadn't even left the restaurant or returned the signed receipt and we were charged $15 extra OUT OF NOWHERE. Shady practices. We go to Reno often during winter season for snowboarding. The Italian food items in the menu wasn't that good so I'd not even try to order any. They do have an awesome breakfast menu. Was so yummy. The decor of the restaurant was pretty a diff theme in each part of the restaurant. We will definitely head there again for breakfast.
