Well over TEN purchases. You'll find this cute delicatessen store located in a parking lot of one of our fav thrift shops....shop then grab a sandwich to go or...in the summer sit in the patio area. The two owners are so nice, great cooks and will make the sandwich to your choice. We've had quite a few different sandwiches but two of our fave is the grilled salami and Reuben. Oh, you get a cookie with your meal. If this was New York.....this would be your neighborhood deli....for the food and the banter. 5 Stars and more.

Wow! Greeted by 2 super friendly ladies! After getting a run down of the menu we opted in for the "most popular" orders. They said the Ruben had been voted best Ruben Im the state of Idaho for 3 years and the turkey bacon. You can't get meal at McDonald's for $12 but you can get a manster sized sandwich. The Ruben- they slice their bread of choice from a full load. So the bread it long and thick. They use pastrami instead of corned beef (which is different but amazing) the pastrami was thinly sliced and had great flavor. They were generous with the meat and added the cheese and thousand island dressing with the sauerkraut. It was the best Ruben I've ever had. Crispy from being grilled and packed with flavor! I had getting my hands dirty when I eat but gladly picked up the meat that had fallen out and devoured every bit. Getting my hands messy was a sacrifice worth while! The turkey bacon. - thick crispy bread from the grill along with a sliced turkey piled a mountain high. I think it could have used something to cut through the saltiness. Maybe some tomato or even a pickle. I thought it was good, but probably will order something else next time.. or add something to do. Still a sandwich better the. Most places but will either modify or try a different one next time. It sits In a little what I thought was a coffee stand in a parking lot. You can walk up or drive up to order. There are some picnic tables to eat. To wrap It up .. this place was incredible. Lovely and friendly staff, great great food and with large portion sizes and decently priced. This placed def made my short list of places to grab an amazing sandwich. The hamburger soup was good too. Nothing special. But good.

Woke up craving a delicious and meaty sandwich. After I went fishing and found a place I haven't tried yet, this was the spot and I damn sure glad I stopped by! Firstly, greeted by a friendly lady who smiled at my little bud (dog) greeting them hanging out my window. I went with a pastrami as well as a Ruben. The nice lady offered my dog some Turkey while we waited and my two sandwiches were made in just a few min. The smell inside was amazing and I couldn't wait to dig in. Both sandwiches were stacked with all the goodies and packed with flavor I needed after a good morning of fishing. Topped off with two homemade cookies, couldn't ask for anything better. Absolutely will be back to try their other sandwiches. 10/10

Went here based on reading yelp reviews, and this place was amazing. The lady who helped us was so friendly and pleasant. The sandwiches are not like anything I have ever had before. The turkey was so tender, and there was so much meat on the sandwich. Rueben was full of flavor. Everything is homemade right down to those cookies. Highly recommend and have already saved this place in my collections!

Passing through and stopped here for lunch and it was absolutely AMAZING. There is a reason they have such good reviews because the food+cookies+tea were phenomenal AND both of the women working were so friendly. I would definitely be a regular here if I could. I was in town visiting and we stopped here for lunch while out an about. Such amazing sandwiches! I can't recommend them enough. The ladies working were so sweet and for being a drive up place it was really fantastic. The sandwiches are HUGE! We got whole ones thinking we were hungry and it was way too big! Looks like a drive up coffee spot. What you get is a super friendly service and the most massive sandwich I have ever had from a deli. Totally fresh and all homemade. The sandwich is as good as big. I had a whole turkey and provolone on rye with mustard and horseradish. The bread was soft and not too thick, ate easily (and yum). The horseradish was quite spicy. Lots of turkey. Saving the other half for later. $8.50 for a whole - $9 after tax. Not a bad price for When I asked the ladies how long they had been serving there, they said 9 years! I've been driving by all this time (5 years) and hadn't seen it. They were very friendly. read more

Thank you yelp reviewers. We never would have found this great hidden gem without you. You need to look for it, but it is worth it. We had an amazing Reuben with a ton of corned beef on it that they sliced after we ordered it. We split a whole, but splitting a half would have been enough. We were visiting post falls and stopped by because of the yelp reviews. Not only was the food delicious and plentiful , but the two women serving us were friendly and when they saw our dog they offered water for her and brought her out end pieces of meat. We were all happy. This place has it all: great food, service and not sure if owners or employees but both cared about their customers and all at a good price. read more

Ok, 5 stars for a sammich may seem like a lot but they earn it! Yes, there is a little wait because they are truly building your perfect sandwich, but oh so worth it! My brother warned us not to get whole sandwiches, as they are huge, but hey leftovers!! Bread was toasted to perfection, sandwiches were loaded with meat (he had the Ruben and I had the turkey bacon). Quality ingredients and total yum! Highly recommend this place! read more

I don't normally leave reviews but this was the BEST sandwich I've ever had in my life! The ladies were very sweet too! We got the Reuben and the Turkey and bacon sandwich and split halves because they both sounded good to us. We were extremely surprised at how big they were. I was able to try both but only able to eat a half before I was full. This is definitely my new sandwich spot! read more

The best Rueben I have ever had in my entire life. The rye bread alone is out of this world heavely. It's a thick-slice butter and garlic rye with actual chunks of garlic in the bread. Holy hell, I am blown away. This place is perfection and I am someone who is not easily impressed. Quick, cheap, quality food in addition to great service. The homemade cookie was such a lovely added bonus. Cookies are my weakness and this one was exactly what I was craving. Just moved to town and was looking for a good place to get a sandwich. I jumped on yelp and I found this place. We actually missed it when driving by and I have to say, I'm so glad I turned around to give it a try. It's a little hut with outside seating in a parking lot. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would! Theirs sandwiches are seriously some of the best I've EVER had (and I've had a lot)! My fiancé and I split the chicken bacon sandwich on rye with dill havarti and not only was it basically two whole sandwiches in one, but it was seriously to die for! And the ladies there are soo friendly and adorable! Definitely go there if you get a chance! read more

So far I have had one of the most amazing reubens I have ever tasted and a turkey bacon melt with horse radish which was out of this world. The portions are huge and the ingredients are fresh. Today we tried the Pastrami sandwich at Midtown and it did not disappoint! Huge portions with wonderful, lean pastrami, our choices of cheeses (my hubby and I split the sandwich), sautéed onions all on homemade rye bread topped off with 2 homemade cookies! The day she retires I will cry. Easily the BEST place to get a sandwich within 50 miles. Friendly service at extreamly reasonable prices. For less than $10 you will have a two meal portion that you will somehow still manage to eat in one sitting because it is so delicious. I keep begging her to open in Coeur d Alene but will gladly drive to Post Falls any day of the week to have lunch made here. read more

I'm really pleased to see all of the 5 star reviews for Midtown Deli. I have never had a bad experience or a bad meal there. The ladies are always kind and I always enjoy visiting with them. It's pretty awesome when I pull up and my dog is excited because he knows where we are as soon as I pull in. He also knows they've got something for him. I would go everyday if I could. Nobody serves up a better sandwich for the price. Nobody offers better soup during the colder months. Nobody makes sure that I get the butt end of the bread with my soup except the ladies at Midtown Deli. That makes me their "butt man" and when they see me pull up they know I'm there for "the butt." read more

New location is 2828 W Seltice Way, in front of Corbys. We can also offer inside over 21 seating in nice non smoking establishment after noon. We focus on super freshness. Bread, meat and cheese free sliced when you order. Super lean meats and real cheese. . . No fake stuff! Ish! All soups (cool weather), salads (warm weather) and desserts are homemade. Comfort food is what it's all about! Sorry, not much gluten free!

Relying only on word of mouth and reputation, we just celebrated our 18 year anniversary December 20, 2024!. We love to have fun with our customers! I'm a firm believer that consistently good food at fair prices and a fun atmosphere is good for everyone! Then a new owner came in. She told us that everything would be great. We were excited. Once there, felt sort of unwelcome but kept going anyway. We all sat at this little copper table with chairs and they brought us food and coffee. It was the norm and we were happy to have a circle table where we could all chat. We had a new lady join that week and she was told by the new owner that she doesn't want us at that table and to pass it on. It was to be for wine drinkers only. Well, why serve us there the whole time only to tell one person, not even the organizer about it. Owner sent a man over to us and we talked to him about it and we all brought up ideas and talked back and forth and thought it was ok at the end. The following week, a new gal came and didn't feel well. She asked the owner to tell the group she had come and that she wasn't feeling well. The owner asked who the group was and she started badmouthing us to the new girl! Another woman showed up and the new gal told her what happened and they both left. The group now meets elsewhere, but it is a shame that you treated a local group after the owner moves here from Spokane and wants to fit in, like garbage after meeting there for YEARS! Not only that, this establishment now closes early and doesn't stay open for farmers markets or anything local going on. It really is a sad deal that someone can come in and ruin a business that someone else worked so hard to build.
