What a cozy establishment right outside the old downtown area in Post Falls, Idaho. I met a few friends for drinks and an early dinner in mid December and what a great time we had. Our server was absolutely wonderful, attending to our every need and pointing us in the right direction when we couldn't decide! We started off with the Romaine and the Mediterranean salads, which were both superbly fresh. We then ordered the americana and the il macina pizzas. Both were very good yet if you like spicy I would definitely recommend the il macinaz. The flavors were tantalizing with the salami's, arugula and pepperoncinis, and I was in heaven! Amazing Pizza place and bar located in Post Falls. They are well deserving of their 5 star Yelp status. We sat at the bar and our bartender Cody was so professional and nice! We ordered a chicken Caesar salad and Dolce Caldo pizza with sausage and it was delicious im a sucker for drizzled honey on my pizza and the spiciness of the jalapeños. Delicious!! Cody then recommended their Croissant Bread pudding...OMG its amazing and let me just say Ive had a lot of bread pudding and this one is really up there in terms of flavor, texture and just one of those desserts ill think about when im back home in Hawaii. Wow, delicious food! The salads are large and shareable. The gluten free pizza is delicious with a crisp crust, which is something I'm not used to at all. My friend had pasta and said it's some of the best she's ever had. Our server was friendly, helpful and attentive. Inside was full so we sat outside which was lovely. So grateful to have a really good pizza place in Post Falls! I loved the pizza at Filling Station, but now they are gone. Piccolo pizza to the rescue! We've been twice so far and each time we received great service and yummy pizza. They even have a good beer and wine selection of which we've tried both. They have a great veggie pizza, I can't recall the name, as well as a good pepperoni and sausage pizza. And all pizzas can be made gluten free, much to my neighbors delight. Good salads too! One thing that could be improved is the firmness of their crust. While it does taste good, it is very floppy, causing ingredients to fall off at an alarming rate. So be sure to use your fork to pick up the ingredients on the plate. But that, well and the lack of parking, are my only complaints. The book store across the street doesn't seem to mind patrons using their lot for now. We are already planning our next visit because we love it! Damn. I really hate to leave this review because I've eaten at the Piccolo in Liberty Lake, and it was good. Perhaps I went to the Post Falls location on a bad night (I'm hoping), because the food was extremely salty. Literally ALL of it. We ordered 3 different pizzas and the meatballs al forno, and everything was EXTREMELY salty. We didn't finish any of the food at all. I was very disappointed, especially after bragging to a visiting friend about how good the Liberty Lake Piccolo was. Great atmosphere not very big, great service and wonderful pizza. Easy to get to. Really enjoy it.

The food items are really delicious, good quality ingredients and a solid menu. Service is good too. No complaints on the waitress or bar staff. I wish the food got out a little quicker. It can take a really long time to get your food even during the happy hour when there is like hardly anyone there. It gets way worse at night when they are full. Love the food but don't come here if you are in a hurry. Or else order out. However I will say the happy hour specials are great. And the decor and ambiance are very nice especially in the evening. I would do 3.5 stars just for the wait times but I will probably still try to go back on occasion. Its nice to have good pizza nearby in the neighborhood. read more

The pizza is outstanding, plenty of toppings, have been there twice. The bolognese was the closest I have found since living in Italy, it was excellent. Service was great, the waitress remembered us from the previous visit, and even the drinks we had. This is our new favorite Italian. Embarassed we didn't know about this place sooner! Fantastic pizza place. Can't say enough about the pizza. We had a thin crush margherita that was by far the best we've had anywhere. Service was exceptional and everyone really tried to make the patrons happy. Got to watch the owner make the pizza as we waited for our table. Great guy and gave us tips how to do our own pizza dough at home. He has awesome technique and I could see the "window in the dough". They have a menu in addition to the pizza that we are eager to try next time. So great to have found a quality place to eat close to home! read more

Great food, great atmosphere and amazing service. They have a couple locations we went to the one in Post Falls. The food and the service was so good. The owners are so nice and one of our service was Dylan. He had they recommended the bread pudding for dessert normally we don't do dessert, but we went ahead and tried it. It was so delicious. We've been back several times and will continue to eat that bread pudding. The pieces are amazing and great choices and the Wine list is Great. Definitely recommended. read more

this place is great! I had spoken with a girl named bella; nice blonde, when i first walked in and she was a delight, sweet and pretty. I enjoyed my few minutes of wait with her. Although happy hour is amazing wait times get long but don't worry because it's worth the wait and everyone is human. They have all fresh and made their ingredients and the people are welcoming. Tried this place with my mother for lunch. The food was insanely good! I ordered the pesto and my mother ordered the Mediterranean salad. Both were incredible. And water served at your table is flavored with basil, lemons and pineapple. Great flavor! The waitress was super nice, very attentive.
