We wanted to try someplace for dinner that we haven't been to before. So we drove over from Spokane to Post Falls to try Sawmill. Parking lot was full, but, fortunately got a spot on the street right in front of the building on Spokane St. We're both disabled so not an option to walk very far. Food and service were both great! Savannah was very patient & attentive! Friend had the pulled pork tacos. She gave me a taste of the pork with some of the bbq sauce...excellent! I had the Flamin PBJ burger. Really good with just a bit of a kick. Really didn't taste the peanut butter (except when it got in my hand), probably because of the jalapeno strawberry jam. But it was a perfect ratio of burger to bun to sauce. Definitely recommend both. We had the potato dippers with both and we also each had a cup of their homemade chili, which was very very good. The potato dippers are not your typical fries. Not sure what kind of machine (?) cuts them up, but, they are delicious and outstandingly tasty when you use the chili as a dip! We were also impressed with the selection of mocktails. The No-jito was really refreshing with the mint & lime and not sweet at all. Loved it! Friend had the Donkey and really liked it too. We look forward to returning with a bunch of our friends. read more

We were really excited to try a new (to us) spot for dinner, especially with all the 5 star raving reviews. I'll start with the positive. The staff were all so friendly and efficient. Also, the food came out really fast. I have to be brutally honest, for the price this food is so mediocre. The fries are probably the best thing going for them because they're unique. Like a Jo-Jo, but thinner. The flatbread (we ordered the posty). The toppings were good, but the crust tasted like a really bad take n bake pizza. So bland. Our daughter got the kids burger and the patty was so thin, tasted like the pre formed frozen patties. The drinks were ok. We ordered our standard old fashioned with Bulleit Bourbon. To be honest I was a little shocked when we got the bill- the drinks were $12.00 with a $2.50 up charge for Bulleit. I hate to be negative, but nothing tasted fresh or made in house. There are much better options in post falls. read more

If heaven had a happy hour... it would look a lot like Sawmill Grille & Spirits... My wife is absolutely obsessed with this place... I'm talking "dreams about the Hog Boss burger" level obsessed... Then she discovered the Mr. Brightside flatbread and... well... I've accepted I'm sharing her heart (and stomach) with Sawmill now... The food? Unreal... The Hog Boss burger is a meaty masterpiece that could make a grown man tear up... The Mr. Brightside and 1974 flatbreads hit that perfect combo of crispy, cheesy, and "why-did-I-eat-the-whole-thing-but-I-regret-nothing"... And those new dipper fries... absolute legend material... bestest ever... We come here with my mom and her crew... basically my second, third, and fourth moms... and even they can't find anything to complain about... and that's saying something... The staff are always on point... friendly, fast, and somehow still smiling after dealing with people who can't decide between beer-battered or grilled... Whether you sit upstairs or downstairs... the vibe is just right... cozy, welcoming, and perfect for any mood... Pro tip... grab a seat on the upstairs patio in summer when it's not scorching... it's pure small-town magic with a side of sunshine... Only downside... parking... it's like a food-themed version of "The Hunger Games"... But we're early-dinner folks, so we always snag a spot... sorry latecomers... should've left five minutes sooner... All in all... Sawmill Grille is the kind of place that makes Post Falls proud... Great food... great people... great times... and a serious contender for Best Fries in Idaho... read more

Super rad space. Great atmosphere with an outdoor porch on the street. Kid friendly downstairs and 21+ up stairs. Good whiskey selection and desserts as well. I ordered to go from the bar. It came out fast and the bartender Jamie got me a to go drink as well. I will be back to dine in soon. I got the house burger & the potato dippers that come with it. They are like a frito meets a French frie. Delicious. read more

They have wonderful food, especially their fish and chips that I highly recommend. The service is excellent.

The best find! Came with my husband and our toddler on the way out to the lake. We wanted cocktails, but also a kid friendly spot. Nailed it! Patio was excellent. Service was excellent. Food was great and they have a CLEAN bathroom. Five stars. Will visit many more times. read more

We were visiting relatives & they brought us here for lunch. There is indoor & outdoor seating, the ambiance is cool & the service was great! We all split several French Dip sandwiches & fries, they were excellent but the fries, wow, unusual but soooo good! I wish I would have though to ask them how they made them, the cut is unique & helped them to be a little extra crispy. We will definitely come back when we're in town next time! read more

Nice location, the parking lot is a little small. The gochujang wings were awesome, nice crunch! Overall we enjoyed our food. The waitress was kind and took care of us well. Will be returning again soon. read more

Great spot to watch sports with good food and drink. 99 whiskey bar has a great selection of whiskey and a solid bartender. Went on a Monday to watch final four final. Was busy but service was great. The Korean wings were an interesting and solid choice. Didn't need the blue cheese because the sauce was great. The house burger was fresh and served on a brioche bun that held together to the last bite. Menu was extensive but simple enough to enjoy. Not overwhelmed by choice. Bartender was entertaining and one of the best I've come across. I'll be back! read more

Food was really good, I ordered a French dip and the only reason they didn't get 5 stars from me was for the small portion of meat on my sandwich. It was good and had great flavor. My wife got the pulled pork sandwich and it looked good and she enjoyed it. My daughter got the animal burger and it was quite the opposite of mine with a giant patty and lots of goodies. The fries are cut almost like slices and were fantastic. The service was pretty good. They were busy so getting their attention was a little tough. The restaurant is very nice with natural edge wood cut tables and very modern country vibe. All in all they really would be a 5 star but that sandwich was just lacking on meat. They offer a mushroom and onion topping for additional cost but at $17 I expected a tiny bit better. However it was delicious. Will definitely return and try something else. read more

Say what? You want a burger and some fries? And a heart beer to go with it? No? How about a good burger? A great burger??? How about an awesome burger????? With some pretty awesome fries?! That's what I'm talking about Each item was delicious French fries were cooked to perfection along with our burgers! We had our dog with us and they set us up at a table outside, it was quite cozy and warmed with a heater. The service was spectacular, some of the best we've ever had. We don't drink alcohol but their selection of beer was very impressive. When in the area......, and we might just go out of our way to savior one of their burgers again, stop by. You won't be disappointed! read more

So yummy! In the cute little downtown of Post Falls, with plenty of parking, and luckily we went right after they opened so no lines. I got the BBQ pulled pork over mac n cheese with a side of sweet potato tater tots and I was not wrong. Really quality mac n cheese, really flavorful BBQ flavor, and the tots were crispy and made of sweet potato, so the definition of a perfect meal. All leftovers tasted great too. Service was unexpectedly fast too! Can't wait to go here again! read more

Unbelievably well run establishment. Consistently great service and superb food along with nice cocktail and beer selection. Queso and chips are superb, tacos make my mouth water just writing about them (fish and shrimp), sweet potato tots are worth the trip on their own, and fish and chips are very good. Exotic burgers and other unique items like the Mac and cheese with pork. Nice patio. LOVE THIS PLACE AND SORRY WE NEVER TRIED TIL NOW. read more

I highly recommend the saw Mill grill and spirits and post walls Idaho. They have delicious hamburgers, fish, and chips and the usual fair that you find in a pub/restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the vibe is very welcoming. The price is right and the food is way above average. Have fun at the sawmill. read more

$103 total, $88 before tip.. NOT returning anytime soon. The mocked up the menu again! They removed their unique appetizer, their kettle chips with queso and replaced it with cheap unappealing tortilla chips and some terrible cheese sauce, the guacamole tastes horrible. The waffle fries, some of the potatoes were still raw and they served the fries in a cup not bigger than a shot glass. The bone-in and boneless wings are nothing to write home about. We had 3 beers and one ice-tea. That's it, $103 for that? I'm a big believer you only get what you pay for but this recent visit to Saw Mill Grill I'm feeling like we got robbed. The ONLY positive things were the servers, they were polite and friendly. read more

We went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. My daughter ordered the regular burger, i ordered the pulled pork sandwich and my husband ordered the French dip. The service was great, we didn't wait long for our food. The staff was very nice and helpful with navigating the menu. The food was amazing! I loved the cut of fries they use. The burgers were so big! The only recommendation i have for them is maybe putting more meat on the French dip it fell short of everything else that was served. read more

Friendly. Good food, Good Service. Post falls needs this. Pizzas are delicious. Flat bread too. Will definitely go back.

We tried this place on a whim and so glad we did. As we pulls up, the parking lot was a little small and not being from the area, we didn't realize you could also park in the street. As we walked in, the inside was very clean and comfortable. We decided to sit outside and enjoy the weather since we are from Arizona. We started with the fried pickles. They were delicious! I loved that they were cut like little fries. I had the cheeseburger with fries while my husband tried the fish and chips. My burger came out in a brioche bun and was cooked beautifully. The fries were the star of the place. My burger was juicy and flavorful. My husband's fish was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. He loves the coleslaw and said the tartar sauce was homemade and tasted so good. Our server was very nice and attentive. The next time we are in the area, we will definitely be back. read more

After the first place we stopped was a bust for dinner we decided to head over here and give this place a chance. Really glad we did. We took a seat outside and checked out how nice the place was. They have tables and an additional comfy seating area that would be good if you're having drinks. Server was friendly and prompt. They had a decent beer selection and good food options. We got pulled pork on a burger as well as mac n cheese and it was really tasty. I liked that I could get sweet potato tots since that's a little more unique, but fries were also really yummy and crisp. Food came out so hot and fresh. Our friend commented that he never gets his food this hot and that was part of what made this even better. Reasonable prices and ample servings. This would definitely be a place I'd be coming to if I lived in the area. read more
