We were really excited to try a new (to us) spot for dinner, especially with all the 5 star raving reviews. I'll start with the positive. The staff were all so friendly and efficient. Also, the food came out really fast. I have to be brutally honest, for the price this food is so mediocre. The fries are probably the best thing going for them because they're unique. Like a Jo-Jo, but thinner. The flatbread (we ordered the posty). The toppings were good, but the crust tasted like a really bad take n bake pizza. So bland. Our daughter got the kids burger and the patty was so thin, tasted like the pre formed frozen patties. The drinks were ok. We ordered our standard old fashioned with Bulleit Bourbon. To be honest I was a little shocked when we got the bill- the drinks were $12.00 with a $2.50 up charge for Bulleit. I hate to be negative, but nothing tasted fresh or made in house. And those new dipper fries... absolute legend material... bestest ever... We come here with my mom and her crew... basically my second, third, and fourth moms... and even they can't find anything to complain about... and that's saying something... We were visiting relatives & they brought us here for lunch. There is indoor & outdoor seating, the ambiance is cool & the service was great! We all split several French Dip sandwiches & fries, they were excellent but the fries, wow, unusual but soooo good! I wish I would have though to ask them how they made them, the cut is unique & helped them to be a little extra crispy. We will definitely come back when we're in town next time! read more

Great spot to watch sports with good food and drink. 99 whiskey bar has a great selection of whiskey and a solid bartender. Went on a Monday to watch final four final. Was busy but service was great. The Korean wings were an interesting and solid choice. Didn't need the blue cheese because the sauce was great. The house burger was fresh and served on a brioche bun that held together to the last bite. Menu was extensive but simple enough to enjoy. Not overwhelmed by choice. Food was really good, I ordered a French dip and the only reason they didn't get 5 stars from me was for the small portion of meat on my sandwich. It was good and had great flavor. My wife got the pulled pork sandwich and it looked good and she enjoyed it. My daughter got the animal burger and it was quite the opposite of mine with a giant patty and lots of goodies. The fries are cut almost like slices and were fantastic. The service was pretty good. They were busy so getting their attention was a little tough. The restaurant is very nice with natural edge wood cut tables and very modern country vibe. All in all they really would be a 5 star but that sandwich was just lacking on meat. They offer a mushroom and onion topping for additional cost but at $17 I expected a tiny bit better. However it was delicious. Will definitely return and try something else. read more

Queso and chips are superb, tacos make my mouth water just writing about them (fish and shrimp), sweet potato tots are worth the trip on their own, and fish and chips are very good. So yummy! In the cute little downtown of Post Falls, with plenty of parking, and luckily we went right after they opened so no lines. I got the BBQ pulled pork over mac n cheese with a side of sweet potato tater tots and I was not wrong. Really quality mac n cheese, really flavorful BBQ flavor, and the tots were crispy and made of sweet potato, so the definition of a perfect meal. All leftovers tasted great too. They removed their unique appetizer, their kettle chips with queso and replaced it with cheap unappealing tortilla chips and some terrible cheese sauce, the guacamole tastes horrible. The waffle fries, some of the potatoes were still raw and they served the fries in a cup not bigger than a shot glass. The bone-in and boneless wings are nothing to write home about. We had 3 beers and one ice-tea. That's it, $103 for that? I'm a big believer you only get what you pay for but this recent visit to Saw Mill Grill I'm feeling like we got robbed. We tried this place on a whim and so glad we did. As we pulls up, the parking lot was a little small and not being from the area, we didn't realize you could also park in the street. As we walked in, the inside was very clean and comfortable. We decided to sit outside and enjoy the weather since we are from Arizona. We started with the fried pickles. They were delicious! I loved that they were cut like little fries. I had the cheeseburger with fries while my husband tried the fish and chips. My burger came out in a brioche bun and was cooked beautifully. The fries were the star of the place. My burger was juicy and flavorful. My husband's fish was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. They have tables and an additional comfy seating area that would be good if you're having drinks. Server was friendly and prompt. They had a decent beer selection and good food options. We got pulled pork on a burger as well as mac n cheese and it was really tasty. I liked that I could get sweet potato tots since that's a little more unique, but fries were also really yummy and crisp. Food came out so hot and fresh. Our friend commented that he never gets his food this hot and that was part of what made this even better. Reasonable prices and ample servings.
