We heard great things about this place. A huge pretzel and the burgers came highly recommended. The bar boasts the most golf towels and has 3 gold simulators. Kind of fun. Several TVs, too. The server was friendly. The pretzel WAS HUGE!! Too big for just 2 people but we forced ourselves to finish it! The pretzel was excellent but the cheese sauce dip must have been out of a can. We decided to split a burger. 2 other tables came in after us and got there food at least 10 (maybe 15) minutes before us. We had ordered before them so this was disappointing. I could see one table had ordered burgers and the other a flatbread and fish and chips, certainly food that had to take time to prepare! We ordered a medium rare burger that came out well-done. Sweet potato wafgle fries were a bit over-cooked as well. My husband did enjoy his draft beer. We won't need to go back. read more

Though it's a sports bar for me it looked like a great family place. We were passing through Coeur d'Alene and wants to pick up our lunch. Yelp suggested this incredible place. This place is started for the indoor virtual golf. They still do the simulators. But it's more like a family & friends outing place. Their menu is very impressive for a sports bar with a lot of options. The ambiance of this place is just great. Clearly golf themed decors. A lot of golf towels hanging around - looks like collected them across the globe. We were warmly welcomed and helped by Alexis on that day. She was very friendly. Gave us a very comfortable table. The one thing we were planning to try in Idaho was the Finger Steaks. That was one of the options on their menu which attracted us to this place. Also ordered a Chili burger, Kaanapali and the Kid's Caddy burger with fries as well. Very fast service. I have tried Chili burgers before but this one hit different. Burgers were great. Coming to the Finger steaks, first time trying it and loved it. In fact, the food was just incredible, just like their service. Great in every aspect of it. It's a $$ place but very reasonable I would say with the portion of the food served. A great place for family and friends. We had another 4 hours of drive left for the say, otherwise we would have stayed bit for trying their simulators as well. May be I will reserve that for a later trip! read more

Tried Caddy Shack for the first time. It was VERY GOOD. I had the CaddyClub and my husband had the Reuben and they were both wonderful. The fries were excellent. Just the way we like them. Divey sports bar with clean bathrooms, incredibly great burgers, reasonable prices and good service. Have driven by this place for five years and never stopped. Probably because it was so close to the hellish assisted care home my disabled son lived in for three years. Finally stopped for lunch the other day and, WOW. Burgers are special. Mine came with two Huge pieces of delicious bacon. Fries were great. Also liked that their soft drinks were $2.00! Son had a nice patty melt. Check for two burgers and a soft drink around $27.00. The food here is traditional American diner style and is always good quality. Love their beer selection and overall cleanliness. Great family atmosphere and the games are a major bonus. Keep up the good work! read more

It's allegedly a golf and sports bar. Just don't try to watch sports there. Ask them to change any channel and they tell you they can't. If you don't know the staff they treat you like a55. We won't be back. read more

Coeur d'Alene, Idaho --- The "CaddyShack" bar is a restaurant with a bar. I like the marketing theme combining the movie "Caddy Shack" (my all-time favorite) with golf to create menu-related items. The use of terms like sandWEDGES, Gunga Galunga desert, "Billy Baroo" burger (my choice) & other such terminology makes for a fun menu ... my "Billy Baroo" burger adds another burger to my "Coddiwomple 2019"... ... customer "Rela" provided the only smiles of my visit - staff scored a "0" for interaction & service. I can get a beer or a burger anywhere, I am more of a bartender groupie. I like bartenders that work the crowd & give people "More Smiles Than I Came In With!" ... It is seldom that I am compelled to waste my time writing one of these reviews however my experience was so bad, here I am. When we arrived the waitress didn't like the positioning of our table, and without warning started to move the table hurting my father and grandfathers foot. That wasn't so bad of an issue and we let it slide. My grandfather who chose this restaurant for a boys lunch for his birthday ordered "a club sandwich with fries". The waitress while brushing past him aggressively noted that orders come with fries. Again, a little odd and aggressive but we let it slide. A family friend ordered a double burger with bacon and grilled onions, when the waitress asked he requested no raw onions or pickles. Prior to the food coming out the waitress came back to confirm if he wanted the grilled onions , he confirms he wanted no raw onions but would like grilled onions. The waitress confirmed and left the table. The food was served and there were no onions on the burger. Again, we are easy people and our friend asked for grilled onions. The waitress proceeded to berate our friend telling him that she "specifically" came and confirmed that he wanted no onions. He confirmed he wanted no raw onions and again asked for the grilled onions. The waitress instead of getting the onions continued to note why she felt she was right. She brought the onions, we ate our bland overcooked food and started to get ready to leave. My dad spilled his near empty soda when the waitress came by and noted that she should have gotten him a child's cup with a lid. Maybe she thought she was funny? Maybe it was just a bad day. Either way this was the worst service I have ever had, when accompanied with sub par food it isn't a combination worth wasting your time over. read more

Awesome food great service. Waitress was beautiful! But the food was awesome.. ordered the double bogey and was not disappointed. Drinks never ran dry. The virtual golf is about an hour and a half, reasonably priced. If you come to golf adjust your time table. Great place. Great atmosphere. read more

This place is fun! It's a sports bar which is nice. They'll have the games on for anything on all the TVs. You also seat yourself which I enjoy. Better than waiting around for a a host or somebody to get you sat. The food is good. They have tap beer and a couple other drink items on the menu but it's not an open bar. My group had fun! Our server was awesome and nice. Very attentive. I wish I could remember her name. The only downside is we wanted to sit at the bar top which is always a "first come first serve" every where else I've gone. There was about 5 seats open and myself and the 2 people I was with went to sit down and the lady behind the bar said it was being held for 5 guys. 35 minutes went by and there was still nobody seated there. Then about 55 minutes later there's 3 guys sitting down. So I'm not sure if they knew her or what. If you're gonna have a bar top then first come first serve maybe??? Not very cool. Anyways, 4/5 stars for me because of that. read more

Sometimes little gems are hidden right in plain sight. Can't tell you how many times I have passed by this place thinking, "oh yeah, just another sports bar", I couldn't have been more wrong! This little gem is totally unique, golf is the motif (hence the name) and it includes not just very yummy, reasonably priced food, icy cold beers, and super friendly waitstaff, but also a couple of virtual golf stalls to really work up an appetite. Definitely put this place on your have to try list! read more

The place is always packed, whether it be lunchtime or around dinner. Great service here, I was really impressed. The woman who was taking care of me never had me wait for nothin'. She did an amazing job and was very attentive.They have lots of TV's to watch the big game. Plenty of room if you've got a large party. Prices are fair but the food lacks a bit. I ordered the double bogey burger and did enjoy it but there were some problems. It looks amazing but was overcooked and the bacon was black almost. The patties lacked flavor too. The fries are the cheap frozen variety that I'm not a fan of. That being said, there's a lot to like about this place but for it to be a go-to spot for me, the menu would need to focus a bit more on fresh homemade ingredients. read more

We love the Caddyshack! It is a fun place with as good "bar food " as you're going to find in the CdA area. Great home made soup on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, plus generous meaty sandwiches and great snacks. Best of all the servers are always friendly and the service is always excellent. We go there enough that a few of the servers anticipate our beverage order. We eat there generally once or twice a week. read more

The people who work here always treat us good. The food is not AMAZING, but for bar/pub food it's definitely on the better side. My GF loves the wings, and I think the bratwurst is pretty killer. Had lunch with son's and close family friend to celebrate my father's birthday. Waitress was rude, slow and incompetent. When we tried to complain to the manager, he told us to get over it. Food was subpar at best. Very disappointing as this is where my dad picked to go for his birthday lunch. Once again an area restaurant that doesn't know how to treat their customers. It's a sad state of affairs when you get better customer service at a fast food restaurant. If you want to waste your money for subpar food and poor service then this the place for you. I'll never come back and will share this experience with the area businesses that frequent this poor excuse for a restaurant. As for the manager, you might want to get a new career, because you aren't cut out for the management position you hold. Remembering this saying, "the customer is always right", all this customer was looking for was an acknowledgment of the issues and an apology but I guess this was too much to ask for.
