The pizza is probably the only decent thing on the menu I've been back a handful of times and have been dissapointed every time. The atmosphere is cool and it's a local Spot , but the food is bland, dry and am far from being impressed. The service has been good. I placed my order over the internet. I verified the location was correct. A salad and a meatball sub. $44. On my card. A little steep, but that's the price of convenience I suppose. After I paid it seems I was in some sort of loop. The site asked if I wanted to check out.???I already did. I check my online banking. Yep there it is$44 Capones Hayden! Why would I pay again? I go to get my order and gee they don't have my order. I am only mildly surprised. I show the server the pictures I took of the bank transaction, and the order on the website. They apologize and put the order in manually. Ok, I will wait. While waiting I watch a guy empty a bunch of stuff in the trash, then immediately grab a cup and drag it through the ice with the hands that had just been handling the trash. He made a drink for a kitchen staff. A few minutes later I watch another server do the same thing. I guess they didn't teach the staff about cross contamination. I won't be getting anything to drink any time soon. Then they bring me a check for another $44. So that's $88 for a salad and sandwich, and hopefully I won't get food poisoning from cross contamination. Very disappointed!! I am hoping for a refund of the original purchase price. I think next time I will go the extra couple of miles to another "C" place in town. read more

I went here twice while visiting Coeur d'Alene. Their food is fantastic! On my first visit, we ordered their meatball sandwich & the ultimate cheese burger. I like that you can get different seasonings on their fries. We chose the dill pickle flavor. On our second visit, we ordered their roasted garlic chicken pizza. Capone's staff drastically missed the mark tonight. Trailer trash barbie's grandma, who stinks to high hell of her marlboro affair, was the server for the afternoon. However, it appeared anything except her job was much more pressing, as she couldn't be bothered to answer questions about menu items. I ordered an ole fashion, I was served a glass of bitters. The cheese burger, was on par with dehydrated spam.... My buddy ordered the taco pizza, our best guess of an explanation of what was served is Taco Bell chewed up and puked on a dough by the elders of the local Indian reservation. This place only pays their employees $5 an hour. Because it's summer and busy season they lowered the staffs pay from $7 an hr to $5. The HR representative said since they are making so much in tips. That the base pay is lowered because of customers tips towards the staff. What a horrible thing for a company to do and because their workers need to pay rent, bills, and support their families they are left with no choice but to expect it and keep working. This company is disgusting and everything that is wrong with this world. We the people should not stand for these companies who are making more money then ever to take advantage of their own workers like that. Let these companies know how you feel about them exploiting workers who sign on at a horrible pay. Which is bad enough, but then lower it to $5 an hr. Just because they are making decent tips and therefore change the base pay without warning. They can't just quit and can't complain to HR representatives. Because it's corporates HR that is telling them that they will get less pay and like it. I'm never supporting this place again and I hope everyone who reads this review doesn't either. Let them know how you feel about them taking advantage of their workers. Complain to the General managers, and the owners. The people/companies who are making record profits and don't pass it on to their workers or customers should be ashamed of themselves. This company is evil. Still disappointed with this place. I ordered a 12" Capone's pizza which is supposed to come with sausage. I literally could not find a piece of sausage so I told the waitress that I thought I received the wrong order. After checking she informed me that there was sausage on it but the owners have directed the cooks to cut back on toppings to cut costs. Are you f*^king kidding me!!! Listen you dumbass people, reducing the quality of your food to save a couple nickels is as stupid as it gets. The place was very slow on a Friday evening, hmmm I wonder why. Just a fun place with great food! I came in for a reuben sandwich, and this place delivered: classic reuben with corned beef so tender it just fell apart with each bite, 1000 island dressing, tangy sauerkraut, on mabeled rye bread. Been a customer there since we've moved to Idaho 10 years ago. Have to say excellent food and the best service ever. Have never one time had to call a waiter/waitress over to get another refill or anything at all. They are on the ball and they know how to wait on people in a timely manner. My only suggestion is, I wish they had double the booths that they have. A booth is a lot easier to maneuver with little kids and babies. They are more comfortable than tables as well. Their restaurants here are overrun with wooden tables and chairs and hardly any booths. Would be nice if they added a few more. read more

Came here on a Sunday afternoon. The service was great. We got the Idaho nachos which were pretty good and a medium pizza. The pizza was just okay. The waitress said they make all their bread/pizza dough in house. Seems like a family friendly place with lots of seating and lots of menu options. read more

We frequent the Post Falls store most often and always like it. We were in the Hayden area and decided to give this one a shot as well. Our waitress came to the table for drink orders shortly after having been seated and she had clearly just came back in from a smoke break. It was still quite a strong odor. No problem though, just seemed a little unprofessional. Drink refills were slow and quite frankly she was not the friendliest personality. We ordered our appetizer intentionally without ordering main dishes at the same time so they wouldn't bring it all at once. We were glad we did, because we still ended up having the main course show up mid way through the app. The wings we ordered were good but the sauces were pretty runny and wouldn't stick on anything. The blue cheese didn't seem to have any blue cheese in it. (On a side note, the waitress asked us if we wanted blue cheese or ranch dressing and we chose blue cheese. Yet when the dish came out, it had both. Why did we get asked for a choice if both come on the plate?). The FunGuy burger was just ok, which the burger itself tasting and having a texture seeming like it lived it's life as a frozen, preformed being. I am told the Meatball Grinder was also just ok. She said it was more like ground meat, instead of actual seasoned meatballs in the sandwich. Overall, this visit was just meh. With a $50 bill at the end, we were really hoping for better. read more

We booked this location by mistake, but we were pleasantly surprised because some of the reviews weren't that great. Surprise, it was delicious! The pulled pork sliders were delicious as well as our Thai Salad and Club sandwich. Everyone else enjoyed theirs as well. Our server was the friendliest woman. So kind and patient with the 11 of us and even was kind enough to split our bill a few ways between us. Thank you for your help and service, we would happily come back on purpose now :) read more

We love Capones and we're very disappointed with our order. Two large specialty pizzas and Idaho Nachos. All items had little flavor. Tonite our family we decided to only go to restaurant on 4th. If we have the same issue then we will sadly give up on Capones. Eating out is pricey and we want good food. read more

Went here today for Mother's Day. My wife wanted a pastrami sandwich. While the sandwich the served was not the "style" she wanted, she said it was very good. I had the New England Grinder and it was good to. Our grandson had the chicken strips. We came here for our family dinner on our weekend trip to Triple Play. My friend recommended here and basically told us anything we ordered would be good and it was goooooood. My toddler loved the mac and cheese and I honestly ate some with my pulled pork sliders. Dad got the philly cheesesteak sandwich and it was cheesy divine goodness! Lastly, my moody almost 9 year old ate the clam chowder which is actually my favorite thing ever and I tried a few bites and if it hadn't been so busy I would have ordered a bowl for myself. Our hostess and server were very nice and we got very good service. It's so important when you have little kids with you. Restaurant itself is big and definitely gives off that pub vibe. This is definitely the sports bar type establishment. They do have it dialed in though with good quality food and a very good waitstaff to take care of you. Upon walking in, were were quickly seated and our drink orders were taken. We ordered from the menu with a pretty good selection too. The food was very good. We all had something different from my pizza to my wifes salad, to my brother in law getting a sandwich. Everyone was happy with their order. The prices were definitely good too. I did really appreciate how our waitress was really on top of keeping our drinks filled and took care of anything else we needed. This place is the best! The Hawaiian pizza is my favorite the flavors all marry well together and the crust is super good. They have 41 taps of all sorts of tasty beverages! They were a little busy tonight, but well worth the wait. Our server Hayley was the best and attentive! We come over from the Washington coast to go to Silverwood almost annually at this point and my cousin recommended this place last year and we made it a point to come back this year. 10/10 highly recommend. read more

My family and I arrived on a Saturday afternoon just before the dinner rush started. We were lucky enough to get a nice booth and quick service. The server was very nice. With that said, the food was honestly not good at all. I don't know why this venue has such great reviews. Other than the "fun", slightly Irish-looking pub theme, it's not a great place for a family to go for dinner. We could have done better at home, and we're not great chefs. The kids had mac and cheese which I tasted. Let me tell you, the macaroni was overcooked to the point where it was extremely mushy. The cheese was slimy and cheap. I had the Thai chicken salad and that was a big dish full of extremely wilted greens, drenched with dressing and topped with overcooked chicken. My husband had a hamburger. He wasn't asked whether he liked it rare/medium/whatever but it came out medium/well done and basically flavourless. On top of all that, even though we got there right before the dinner rush, the server seemed distracted and forgot our Idaho Nachos. She also didn't hear us properly when we asked for 4 soda waters and brought 3 plain waters and one soda one. Overall, a bad experience, given what we were expecting based on the reviews. read more

I am a first timer to this place. Came with a group of 6. We had a great wait staff. Everything we ordered was tasty. Loved the soup of the day. It was Chicken Chowder. Very good. They over cooked our burger but fixed the issue asap and tasted great when done to our liking. They have a large menu. Also the Bloody Mary's are great. They have so many beers on tap at this place. Decided to give Capones another shot the Hayden location. And it was absolutely horrible. We had to wait 10 minutes for water. After we had already asked. The table to the left of us was a large group and they got their drinks before us even though we asked for more water and she could see, we didn't have any water left and we were already eating. That group hadn't even ordered food yet. I asked for napkins and it took so long that I just went up and got my own. I ran out of Rockit sauce. She didn't even offer to bring me another container of it. My husband said that he felt like the turkey had a waxy substance on it. It was absolutely disgusting. I will never bother with Capones again. Triple D should be alerted again to come and try this place, because maybe they would actually do better on their food and their service. read more
