Tray, Levi, and Noel went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of when an unexpected situation with another customer arose. They were calm, professional, kind, and genuinely cared about our safety and experience. It's easy to compliment a restaurant for good food (which it absolutely was!), but it's moments like these that show the character of a business and the people who work there. Great place to have fantastic pizza. This is an artisan pizza place. Wide range of flavors and you can also make your own. Ordered artichoke dip, Gordy, Thai grr, pesto and margarita. I personally loved the pesto and margarita pizza and the artichoke dip. If you like sweet flavors go for Gordy. My family loved Gordy and Thai grr. Also, this place needs reservations. We returned to Fire for the fain hope that the simple 'fire chocolate chip cookie" would be a satisfying option for a dessert. Nope. We sat at the bar and ordered our cookie with ice cream and a glass of wine, and the person who took out order seemed to care less that we were even there. When our cookie was ready, the person manning the wood over looked confused because he did not know who the cookie was for - and who could blame him...the ENTIRE WAIT STAFF vanished from the restaurant...maye to go our back for a smoke or weed break?? We ended up going over to him to let him know it was ours. Sadly, the cookie was burnt. When it came time for the bill, the same person who took out order and never even bothered to check back in tossed the check down next to me with nothing but a "here you go" and walked away. Rude and could not be bothered. There are other fire cooked pizza places in town who do a far, far better job in their prep, care that the customers are there, and take pride in their work. The interior is decorated with faux fire and a modern flare. We dined with 4 adults and 2 kids and we shared 3 pizzas. The adults also had a couple of small salads and a soup. I would have preferred that they brought the appetizers out first and then served the pizzas later but everything came out at once. We stopped in at 8:50 and weren't sure if they were still open - Yelp said they closed at 9, Google said they closed at 10, and there were still tables that were eating. They were cleaning up from a very busy dinner rush, and told us they stopped seating at 9 and we were more than welcome to order food and drinks. The service was top tier. Dan was our server and he was amazing. We told him we were going to order something quickly and be out of his hair, but he invited us to take our time, and truly meant it. He even served another group right after us and made them feel just as welcomed. We started with some drinks and a caprese salad, which was served on crostinis. It was a great starter! We split their Jiminy Crimini pizza and it was PHENOMENAL. Both of us haven't been able to stop talking about it. We were given two speciality salts - a truffle salt (life changing!!!!) and a jalapeno salt. Adding a little bit of the truffle salt added so much flavor to an already delectable pizza. First time my then husband, kid, and I were seated and waited 45min for no one to come up to us so we could order or have drinks. (This was before they changed the decor to celebrities eating pizza.) Another family invited me and we had a great time. Tasty wood-fired pizza in CDA! My guy ordered the Margherita Pizza and added chicken. I ordered the Pesto Pizza, which came with chicken and cherry tomatoes. The pesto had a nice garlic kick...must love garlic! Both pizzas hit the spot for our Pizza Friday, Pre-Ironman carb-load (active spectators need energy too!). The wine list was limited but our lovely server was happy to bring me a few samples to try. Highly recommend making a reservation! I love their pizza! Since they changed ownership there are some pros and cons. The pizza tastes mostly the same but it's not quite as good as it used to be. Same recipe I can tell, but something is slightly different that I can't quite put my finger on. But I love the new fireplaces under the table, new art work and same incredible service. They have a full bar now and I love that they added a caprese salad. It's to die for and I highly recommend! Their Thai pizza is my favorite but I also love the Camino.
