Food was great! Will def be back again! Tracy was so sweet and made sure we were taken care of.

Been a few years, and wow. We had kiddos with us last visit, so we never saw the bar side. It's probably one of the more impressive dive bars in our area. No lie. I am not a fan of my lovely Wifey's nicotine habit, but once we sat down in the thick of things, she brazenly lit up with a smile on her lip, slightly sneering with a wisp of visible smoke gently wafting from the right corner of her mouth. I wax poetic on unhealthy vices--pardons begged, and hand me a double-shot of well vodka (neat). Great bar food. Hearty. But, boy-oh-boy, if you will have an issue with a smoky bar, just don't go to that side. Take my words as an illustration of what it is. Those of us over 60 will feel nostalgic. Restaurant- nice service, clean, nice decor, simple inexpensive menu with perfect choices and good food. Non smoking Bar smoking but nice. Nice bartender shuffleboard, dance floor, lottery, looks like live music stage.,...save the best for last THE PATIO B St bar patio I have EVER seen....and I'm from Portland so I have seen a few. Great landscaping the detail with the flower pots on the extended size picnic table and speakers omg this is amazing. Waitress was really nice and friendly but that's where the good review ends. When we walked in there was only two other families. Was able to order pretty quick nothing complicated omelets and toast. After about 5 minutes we were only ones in there until another guy walks in and orders. About 15 min in another family walks in. We're now at about 25 minutes in waiting for omelettes and toast. Apparently the cook in the back needed to take several coffee breaks while we waited. I have to assume since he kept staring at us while we waited over 30 minutes for omelettes and toast he has some kinda of racial issue and didn't want to serve us. We left and will not return nor have anything good to say about this place. read more

This was the worst service I've had in an establishment in Kootenai county. Kasey our server made sure to serve every other patron in the bar before reluctantly coming to our table and asking "what do want". No smile no pleasantries just right to business. I supposed it could be an off day for her and gave her the benefit of doubt. Until she marched behind the bar and smiled and laughed along with patrons for five minutes before bringing our drinks out. The cook came out and smiled and laughed with us was very pleasant and dropped off some rather delicious parm fries. Which was the best part of our experience. Server Kasey never came back to our table. She instead chatted with patrons until the end of her shift and then sat down with a friend and began complaining about another employee loudly and talking about her a personal life loud enough that I know more about her including her children's names which she gets to claim on taxes etc than I know about some of my friends. My leg is in a cast but I wouldn't expect that to matter to the servers in the bar so I stood up walked to the bar and waited patiently to order another drink. Bar tender was cold and took my order I thanked her and wobbled back to table finished my drink and then closed my tab. I could never recommend this establishment to my friends or family. read more

Went in last night for a beer 8/20/2021 and she was very rude having owned my own bars for years I thought I would check this place out I shall never step foot into the dirty greasy slum place again as for the bartender good thing she never worked for me. We stopped here for lunch on our way to Coeur d'Alene for a vacation. We weren't sure about the setup because they have 2 entrances and the reviews made me feel like it was only one place....turns out we went into the diner side of the building and the other door was the entrance to the bar. Theresa was smiling from the time we walked in until we left - she has a wonderful personality for a small diner and does a nice job making you feel happy you chose their place to spend your money! Hubby had the BLT with potato salad. We heard the potato salad was something people ordered just to take home to add to their own meals, so of course, that's what he had to try! Hubby liked his BLT, he said it could have used a bit more bacon, but not too bad overall and the potato salad turned out to be just as good as advertised. I had the Mushroom & Swiss burger with a side salad. The burger was great - plenty of mushrooms and the salad was wonderful. Sometimes choosing a salad at a small diner turns out to be a poor decision, but not this time. It was just as it should be - fresh lettuce, toppings and not covered in shredded cheese. Hubby liked his BLT, could have used a bit more bacon, but not too bad overall and the potato salad turned out to be just as good as advertised. Don't hesitate to check this place out! read more

Wow... we've been to many restaurants across this country. Today at Post Falls, ID at local restaurant that looks like it's a popular place. We place our order and wait, wait, wait. The waitress checked on us and said our food will be up shortly. Ok. We understood it takes time and waited patiently. But after an hour and ten minutes later we noticed customers coming after us were being served. We asked again and the waitress said it's being made. Like how long does it take to make breakfast? We decided to leave and the cook in the back said I'm making it right now, while placing more food on the outgoing section for others. As we were leaving the cook yells out "Don't come back!" and the waitress said "I don't think they're from here." I so wanted to say something back but I wouldn't stoop to their level. I just smiled and we kept walking because at the end... those people don't matter to us. read more
