Wish I could do half stars on Yelp, but alas - I would rate Gathered a 3.5 if I could. My wings were excellent - they are bone in wings but they were perfectly cooked. Crispy outside, juicy inside. If you like a good buffalo wing for its flavor and not for being a scorcher, this is a great wing for you. My partner had the turkey huckleberry sandwich, and he liked it quite well! We were a bit sad about the green beans. They looked excellent, but were very underdone. We did let the waitress know and she was gracious about it and said she would let the kitchen know. We took them home and reheated them in our steamer basket and they were good. The atmosphere is kind of cute and farmhouse chic, the very open floor plan does get loud though so foam boards to reduce echo would help a lot. The only other downside was just that the service was a bit slow, but they were pretty busy for a weekday night. Overall, we liked it and will probably be back - I look forward to seeing if their menu changes with the seasons. read more

Gathered in Coeur d'Alene is absolutely amazing! We went with a group of friends and had such a fun experience. It's very affordable, yet the food feels incredibly elegant and thoughtfully crafted. I honestly wasn't expecting how elevated and beautifully prepared everything was. We ordered the buffalo mac & cheese, turkey huckleberry sandwich, chips, crab cakes, and fish & chips--and every single dish was delicious. Bring your appetite, because you'll need it for this place. Home cooked meals from scratch. The burger-massive! The tin-can nachos are easily shareable amongst three people. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the owner personable and inviting. Definitely a place to come and enjoy a food filled evening. The other dishes that came out were portioned such that you will never leave hungry and well satisfied. Out of the Park!! Found this gem that is worthy of your treasure. Checks so many boxes; clean, easy access, great food, diverse menu, and most of all, lovely welcoming people! We sat outside on a glorious day. I had the turkey sandwich and the boss had a strawberry feta chicken salad. The sandwich was much more than I should have eaten but I just couldn't stop! Start off by saying the restaurant is super cute and farmhouse style with a modern vibe, the staff was super friendly and joked around. Atmosphere was kind of a fun family style. The food was absolutely amazing. The stuffed mushrooms were super delicious, the Ruben was stacked tall and full of flavor. My wife's burger was big and delicious as well. I was a bit unimpressed with the price at first but, if you are a leftover person you are in luck because the portions are 2 meal sized and we both got a second meal making the price pretty well worth it. We had 9 people and they remembered everyone's food order but my husband's. We had to flag someone down because our waitress didn't show up to see how everything was. The food was excellent but how can you leave one person setting there without the food they ordered while everyone is eating? By the time they showed up with his food we were all done. First of all - we all enjoyed our meals tremendously. Burgers, Shrimp Tacos, Turkey Huckleberry Sandwich and cupcakes (regular and gluten free) were delicious. I'm only giving 4 stars because of the pricing for a GF bun ($5.00!!!) and GF fries ($5.00!!!) - so a burger with gluten free bun and fries is $28. It's also unfortunate they advertise GF fries, but they are made in a shared fryer. Technically that is not gluten free. We went there for the GF fries that my son couldn't have. For a restaurant with a gluten sensitive owner, she should know truly GF fries for a kid at a restaurant is the MOST amazing thing. Food is good quality and so tasty! The portions are BIG, and it's seriously good. I don't like pink in my burger from most places because I don't trust it.. but here I do trust it! The best burger in post falls. Last time I had the one with Mac n cheese, the time before I got the pineapple burger.. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu! It totally hit the spot for our entire group which consisted of a teenager boy, a couple in their 70's and some middle agers, too! We ordered the Southwest Burger with GF bun and fries and a house salad. So glad we split it since the portions were on the larger side! The cheese curds to start were a hit, too. Wished I had saved room for dessert. They bake them fresh daily. Will have to return for that treat or the $5 well martini served all day everyday special that was scrawled on a chalk board. We had been trying to eat at this restaurant for over a year but they're always closed.The one star review is for the customer service the owners husband made it a point to tell us how expensive it is to run a restaurant and that he would rather just have the catering business. Except for the price so expensive like ridiculous expensive basically $20 for a hamburger. Strap in, I've got some things to say about Gathered and the delicious, three meat, juicy "Smoke-Shack burger I had. First, I've been to restaurants all over North America and this, by far, has my favorite fry sauce. I would say best, but food quality can sometimes be subjective. I love it! I had your normal kind of fun and creamy flavors and texture while having RICH flavors and a pleasant smoky taste. I haven't even gotten to the burger yet! You could somehow taste each part of the burger. The patty had perfect char and such a refreshing, clean taste (must be from the " fresh, organic, hormone and antibiotic free" recipe they have for their patties. I digress... the bacon was thick and juicy, and the brisket had a present, but balanced sweet, salty, and smoky barbecue flavor. I know there's a lot of different types of fries out there, but these were some of my favorite. They weren't potato wedges, but they were not your average size fry! Hot, crispy, and plenty to chew on on the inside. Topped with their house seasoning! Loved them! I was greeted by the owner of Gathered and we had just the right amount of table service when we needed drinks, to order our food, and to ask her a few questions about the place. This establishment was clean, positive, and decked out for the holidays! I can't believe it's taken me all this time to finally try this place out. By the time everyone else finished the missing entree arrived. How can you deliver food to a table but never bring everyone their food? Food : Hawaiian hamburger.: Very juicy , very good, very filling. Cheese curds : also very yummy. Big serving for appetizer. Fish and chips: "It was Good!" (direct quote from my husband) we had lots of french fries left over to take home. Also took Home one piece of fish and about half of our cheese curds. My only complaint would be that the cheese curds came out, and in less than two minutes later our food came out and so we didn't have time really to enjoy the cheese curds. (the cooks in the back are very quick ) We noticed other peoples plates of food go by... It all looks so good. Good size servings. Service was good. Waitress made sure we kept water in our cups. As for ambience... Well, it's very simple Decour. Chairs we're not the most comfortable ones I've ever sat on. The staff was very nice even after I asked a ton of questions about popularity of menu items. I had the Moo burger which was amazing! My husband got the Reuben. Other reviews complained about the price but after seeing the portions sizes and quality of food I would definitely say it is worth it! Great family staff - great food made with care. Traveling through the area, we asked locals "where's a good place to eat"; this came up twice so we stopped in. Turned out that we had been here once before, about a year ago. The first and most striking thing here is the staff. Our server was the owner's daughter - so warm and friendly, a real joy to talk with. She was always checking on us. Her mom stopped by the table and we discussed the menu, her son and his new Tesla (good job working hard for it!) and the restaurant business in general. We ordered the Southwest burger and the fish and chips. The burger was perfectly cooked and served on a warm, soft, brioche bun. The ingredients were fresh. My wife commented that it was the best burger she had ever eaten (that is epic praise)! The cod was freshly battered and fried perfectly crispy - delicious. The coleslaw was fresh and the flavors married well. Both were served with heaps of hot French fries. All the food was HOT. The current menu is on their website and may differ from what is here. A great Lil family owned restaurant in Post Falls. Positive upbeat folks who are glad you came in and supported them, they work hard preparing a great meal---a real gut buster---and a warm atmosphere, love the signs which are encouraging and uplifting. The food...wow! Huge portions! You will be taking home leftovers. I really cannot say enough good about my many experiences here. This great hidden gem has become one of my all time faves. Oh...side note, for YEARS I have been trying to find someone who makes a Reuben right...Ah hah...found it! Very filling, very tasty! Can't go wrong here.
