We were looking for a new place to have lunch (short hop off I-90) and Oh My Goodness!!! This is the cutest hole in the wall Fish Shack (they serve a lot of other things too). The service was excellent and very friendly. Smiles on the staff's faces. We had clams & fries and clam chowder (you can pick coleslaw instead). DELICIOUS!!!! Fries are yummy with excellent fry sauce. Clams cooked perfectly. The basket is a big portion. Especially after a serving of chowder. Took home leftovers . We will definitely be back to try other menu items.

Fish thinner than the French fry. What a joke!

We ordered the 3 piece fish, fries and coleslaw or chowder meal. We ordered the coleslaw, not the shower. It is advertised as famous cut fish daily and breaded. This was frozen, not cut and battered daily. There is more breading than fish and no seasoning at all. The fry was thicker than the fish. I don't know how you can even cut fish that thin. They also gave us chowder no slaw. Not such a big deal, the chowder was ok. All in all, not a great meal especially for the $23+.

We had an extremely disappointing visit. This is NOT the Pryor's we remember. Now, we had not been there since before the pandemic and the change we saw hard to fathom. When we decided on Pryor's for dinner, we were looking for an the great things we remembered but unfortunately found none on them. From the start, the service was tepid and indifferent. We waited a minute at the door to even be acknowledged and then told we could sit anywhere. Another 4-5 minutes before we even got menus. It wasn't for lack of staff as there were at least four people we saw in the dining room and it wasn't that they were excessively busy at 6:00PM. The staff they had was focused on the one or two other diners who seemed to be regulars. When we did get our menus, there was ZERO engagement, ZERO expression, and ZERO interest that we were there. Once we ordered our food didn't take too much longer than expected but was dramatically subpar. Interestingly, when the server came by to check on us she asked "how is everything" I answered "disappointing" she simply walked off. We used to count on this place for their ginormous thick planks of fish, what we got this time was barely a fish stick. Undersized & over cooked. Same could be said about the rest of the items in the captains plate. Scallops were burnt little balls and the fries were just a mass of glommed together potatoes. Again, terribly disappointing. I understand that the economy has caused menu prices to rise and a $50 meal for two is not unreasonable any more but at least take the time to do it well. It was interesting that the staff had time to run out & flag didn't a passing ice cream truck but didn't take the time to cook our order properly. Part of the conversation that we overheard between staff and another patron was that the restaurant was for sale. (possibly to a burger & seafood restauranteur from Post Falls). I commented to my wife that it's probably past time to sell if this is the indifference with which they treat their diners. Proof that a successful owner needs to actively manage. Every. Single. Day. Sorry but this one is off the list.

Place is cute, with farm implements, kitchen gadgets and tools decorating the interior and exterior. Food is expensive, for what it is. What it is, is average diner food. A mushroom Swiss burger with a side of fries is about $14.00. Burger was pretty good, but nothing exceptional with very mediocre, processed fries. I was excited about the clams and fries as they claim to be a fish house. Soon found out there was no reason to be excited. Clams are pretty close to what I used to get at a chain fast food joint, Long John Silver's and, once again, same mediocre fries. Service was friendly and outstanding. When we arrived, I was a little surprised that there were only two tables occupied during prime lunch hour but after having lunch there I'm not too surprised. What I am surprised by are all the glowing reviews for this place and the overall Yelp rating of 4+.

This spot is amazing, the staff are super hard working and friendly too. The fish and chips, Clams & chips, Chili Cheese burger along with the Clam Chowder are all absolute FIRE. I could eat here everyday forever. Situated on the side of the road in a corner gravel lot, It looks like it could be an old honky tonk bar. Amazing decor inside and out. It is a far cry from the other "fast Food" in the area. This place has food fast but, it is microwaved, pre packaged junk. Pryor's is worth a trip from where ever you are.

Super cute atmosphere and drive thru. Service was great! Everything tasted fresh and was hot! Had fish and chips. Husband had chowder. He thought it tasted very floury. Not on the inexpensive side but I do prefer to support the small business owner! I will be back! I think this cute little place is a stop and one worth trying!

We weren't thinking this would be a heavily leaning Mexican restaurant, but it is. There are many other choices though like burgers and chicken fried steak, my go to. First things first though. There is a nice sized parking lot outside that does not have cramped spacing. That was nice. It looks like an older neighborhood diner, not run down, just older. Inside was kept very clean and the staff seemed to always be wiping things down when not helping customers. My wife chose the chili relleno plate and I went for the chicken fried steak. You can learn a lot about a place based solely on the quality of this dish alone. Theirs is very, very good. Excellent meat without any 'chewies' you find at so many places. The gravy was spot on in quality and amount of sausage. Not overly salted. Just exactly perfect. My wife's dish was also equally enjoyed. High quality relleno with a tasty sauce and perfect cheesy stuffing. Overall this was a hit and we'll definitely be coming back to try other dishes if I can get away from ordering the CFS. That's going to be tough. Give them a go, I think you'll be glad you did.

When you're 2/3rs through a 12 hour drive and you can get hot, fresh smashburgers and skinny fries and frozen custard? Yes please, I'll take two. So I was driving to Cabela's to do some Christmas shopping last month, and I darn near gave myself whiplash when I saw that Post Falls had a Freddy's. I was lucky that there wasn't any police nearby because I'm pretty sure I broke some traffic laws whipping my truck around and getting into the parking lot. I entered with some amount of trepidation. Was my memory of Freddy's just a product of being hungry during a drive? Was their custard going to be as good? Were the fries going to be hot enough to scald my fingers as I scarfed them down? It was as good as I remembered. And the fries were hot and fresh. Even though it's not in my normal area of travel, I'm going to make excuses to go get burgers there.

We ordered two Grilled Chicken Club sandwiches with no mayonnaise, add mustard, and a large fry. Our food arrived quickly but they should have taken more time.
