We stopped by true legends Grill to get a quick bite to eat cause we had a busy afternoon. The restaurant was clean had cute pictures on the walls. Lots of open space to walk through without being too close to other peoples tables. We were able to seat ourselves, server came over right away, brought us menus. The server was super friendly very happy. We were able to order during happy hour. Food was good came out in a reasonable amount of time. Even though we ordered everything at the same time appetizers included. The cheese bites were delicious and they came with a cheese sauce, which was also delicious. I definitely recommend those the pretzel was delicious. My kids gobbled it up before I could take a picture. The quesadilla was stuffed full of all kinds of goodies and had such a good flavor the buffalo bites had a good flavor as well came with ranch and blue cheese. The Caesar salad salad was mediocre but still good. My son really loved the burger. He got it looked good. I have been coming to True legends Grill since I moved here in 2018. I love this place. I love the bartenders. They are all very attentive and you do not have to wait for your food or drinks. But today on Saint Paddy's day I come in here with my sister to enjoy a couple of cocktails and apparently the manager I guess is what I've been told. Some guy grabs the remote control for the TV and cranks up the volume so loud that you can't even hear yourself think. I've asked three of the bartenders to please turn the TV down to a decent volume and nobody is able to find the remote. If the manager knew that this volume on the TV is crazy loud and everybody in the bar is bitching about it. You would think he would do something to fix it. read more

We came here on a Sunday at 11:30 am- the service was painfully slow even though the place was not busy. Fine- fair enough. We came in 3 adults 3 kids- we specifically chose this spot for family lunch because it clearly stated (no fine print disclaimer) that kids 12 and under eat free with the purchase of an adult meal. We ordered 3 adult meals and 3 kids meals. Took 20 min after finishing for my husband to finally get up and find our server to pay since she clearly wasn't coming around anytime soon. She charged full price for the kids meals as well, so extra $28-$30 was on the tab. 2 of the kids didn't even eat their food which happens but whatever. Some friends and I tried out True Legends. When we walked through the front door, we found a wall in front of us with apparent hallways on each side. We weren't sure which way to go, so went to the right. We did figure out that had we gone to the left, the only option was the bar. By going to the right, we had both the bar and restaurant options. We were there at 5 PM and there was only one other table sat in the restaurant and the bar was busy. So we decided to sit in the restaurant. It was fine for a little bit, then people started coming. A family with littles let their kids run around the dining room, which was annoying. There was also a very big echo in the restaurant, so it seemed a lot louder than it should have. We did get some drinks and food though. For drinks, we started with a Filthy Vodka Martini, Lime Margarita on the rocks, and a blended Strawberry Margarita. The drinks were fine, but lacked alcohol. The prices were pretty good though. The Martini was the most expensive at $9.50. I had heard great things about their mozzarella sticks, so we got an order for us to share. They were large and decent. They weren't what I was expecting though. For entrees I ordered the "Mexican Shrimp Gyro" which is described as Pita bread filled with Mexican seasoned fried shrimp, cabbage, cilantro lime sauce, and pico. I asked for a cup of French Onion soup instead of the other sides available (seasoned fries, coleslaw, or homemade chips). For $1.50 you could upgrade your side to Soup, Salad, onion rings, or tots. I completely missed the "fried" information regarding the shrimp. But instead of a cup of French Onion I did end up with a bowl (so that was nice). My favorite thing on the plate was actually the spicy pickled red onions. Both of my friends got the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich. One with fries and the other with tots. There isn't a picture of their sandwiches, but they did like them. I was told that chicken had great crunch and flavor. One thing that we decided tonight is that if there's a bar option, we'll be choosing the bar. read more

Ribeye was so grissley left half of it chewed up on the plate. Veggies and bake potato was best part. Wife's fry's cold and soggy. They did comp burger and fries. Service was OK It got busy and everyone got scattered and then service was spread to thin to be good. Didn't refill waters or ask if we wanted more drinks until we ask for bill. How is it possible to screw up a hamburger and fries? The hamburger was dry, not enough sauce, pickles limp and soggy, lettuce not fresh, bun not toasted just room temp, fries barely warm, limp and soggy. Ate half and gave the rest to my dog. Food gave me a headache later on so it was loaded with preservatives. Wife ordered shrimp tacos and coleslaw. Tacos were dry with no sauce, shrimp was not fresh and the coleslaw was limp and soggy and had an "old rancid" smell to it. It smelled really bad. Maybe 3-4 days old??? She would not touch it. So all in all we wasted $40 dollars on legendary bad food. Never again! AVOID THIS PLACE unless you just want to get drunk on all the booze. read more

I'm glad to post a positive review when and if I think a restaurant is either a little bit above average or has scored a major hit with me of excellence. I like going to True Legends for several reasons they are not far across the state line from where I live over here near CDA. They are easy to get to have a large parking lot and upon going in I am a bachelor so I always sit at the bar. I find friendly people. Some of them have actually learned my name and give me a personal greeting of Hiya Doc! and wait staff and bar staff are very friendly with me. Their menu has multiple things that being on cancer drugs I can eat without throwing up. I very much like having a cup of their clam chowder and then ordering up a 1 pound of their steamed clams. I have a few Chardonnay and that makes for a happy Madman Dr. Thomas And the bill is easy on my credit card. read more

Solid local spot! I haven't dined in yet, but every takeout order has been really good. I've tried the veggie calzone, fish and chips, and Thai pizza. Had I known it was only $6 I would have ordered another one for sure. most places you go this drink is 10 to 12 bucks. My husband ordered a Moscow mule, technically two. Still $6 each. He also got the prime rib 12 oz He said it was pretty good, next time he thinks he's going to get the 16 oz because the price difference is only a few bucks. He was uncertain of the cost as it was not listed when he ordered, But how do you know any probably would have automatically done it and taken the rest home. My son and I split a zag burger. It definitely wasn't as big as the picture shows it, That's advertising for you. But it still was tasty.. I got a bowl of French onion soup which was decent. Great spot to watch a game- or all the games. On a recent evening, stopped by to catch the apple cup with some friends who had to see the game. Beer and bar food was fast, service was friendly and efficient and the game was on the big screen. My first time there. Asked if they had a gluten free menu. The server stated they didn't have a specific menu, but any of their burgers or sandwiches could be made gluten free using their gluten free buns. Great!!!! I opted to get the steak salad and told the server that since I have Celiac, I need to be sure even the dressing has no gluten in it. the server assured me that the dressing I ordered had no gluten. My salad arrives and it's beautiful, except for the fact that there's a big piece of garlic bread sitting on top of it. I tell the server that I can't have gluten or gluten touching my food and there's bread on top. She looks at me says "can't you just hand it over to your friend, maybe they can enjoy it". I knew in that moment that I couldn't eat there with confidence that I wouldn't get sick. It's great they have gluten free offerings, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone with Celiac, they do not precautions to prevent any sort of cross contamination. read more
