There is plenty of room here, and the service has always been excellent. We would love to come back on a night when they are doing trivia or have live music, because it's the kind of place that looks made for it! The food has been good each time, but not quite amazing. We live nearby and kept saying we need to try this place and it finally worked out. Do NOT sleep on Shindigs, the food is so great! For a Friday night it wasn't super busy, they had live music outside. We opted to sit inside. Everything was clean, service was friendly and fast and the food was so good. The fries were incredible. As I grew up calling them, the "jojo's, were crisp outside, but almost like a mashed potato inside. We'll be back for sure! read more

Found this gem by doing a google search of the area for a family friendly place to grab a good drink and food. And I can't give this place enough stars. Such a great atmosphere; feels like your at the base of a mountain ski resort, the food was amazing. Wife got the chicken and waffles and I got the texarkana brunch burrito. The fried chicken is fresh and never frozen. I was it down with one of the better bloody Mary's I've had in a long while. "Secret" Bloody Mary recipe made by the owner. Lots of tvs for football sundays and live music every week on a day I can't remember, but either way you gotta check this place out. Very happy to have met the owner Ethan, great dude! Six of us went for Father's Day yesterday was so disappointed in the patio. We were so excited to go sit out at a patio. It's like they didn't want you to sit there. We asked if we could go sit in the tables with the shade and they said no, they wouldn't deliver over there then we said well do you have any umbrellas and they said no it's like they don't want you on their patio when in the PNW you want to sit out when you can cause it's more cold than it is nice. Their patio could be so great. Not sure why they don't wanna make it inviting the inside is super nice. The food was good and the people were nice. The gal was a little slower waitress, but she was nice just super disappointed in the patio. We drove about 25 minutes to get there cause I remember going there a few years back before it was shindigs and the patio was super inviting so we wanted to go we heard how great it was. Food & ambiance were just fine; however what burns my backside is a server that steals from customers. My total was $42.39. I gave her $60. She came back and said "here's your $17". Uhh, you mean $17.61? Sure, it's only .61¢, but it's still theft. And will keep me from EVER stepping foot in there again, nor will I ever suggest it. They charged me $9.50 per drink for Tito's PLUS $1.00 per drink for a splash of cranberry!!!! $10.50 per drink that I provided the soda for. Ridiculous. Won't be stopping here again. We even asked if gratuity was included and they lied and said no. Manager would not correct. Going to speak to upper management or dispute with my card. Will never go back read more

My favorite spot to stop for a drink and a great atmosphere. The menu is great and they cook in tallow oil so it's all delicious and high quality ingredients. Not to mention their holiday spirit and decorations. A great place for a Christmas party, large gathering or just to chill. read more

We finally came in last night after months of saying we need to go there. Their food is cooked in beef tallow, their beef is never frozen all locally sourced & their chicken was FRESH not frozen. Do not pass by without stopping. Some of the best food around. The service was great too. I cannot wait for summer the outside is so great. read more

We were in the area for vacation and stopped in to check it out. Between our family of 5, we got a little bit of everything...almost ;) The Brussel sprouts and sweet potato tots appetizers were delicious. My daughter loved them and she hates sweet potatoes. The chicken strips and special sauce were so good, and maybe the best strip/dip combo we've had. The owner is working on a Thai chicken taco to put on the menu, so he brought us one to try. Let me tell you, if they put that on the menu make a special trip just for those! We had a few drinks but their espresso martini is hands down the best we've ever had anywhere. If we're ever in the area again we will definitely be back. read more

Where do I even start?! We have been to Shindigs multiple times since they have opened. In fact, it's probably our favorite spot now for lunch or dinner. The food is phenomenal! I tend to have a sensitivity to food fried in seed oils, however every time I eat at Shindigs, I don't even feel sick afterwards, so them not cooking their food in seeds oils is a HUGE plus. The staff is always friendly and always checks up on us. The outdoor area is my favorite but they have done such an amazing job on the inside as well. The prices are comparable to any other chain restaurant, but we'd rather support local(which is a bonus as well). Do not let the haters out there, talk you out of going here. You won't regret it. This place is soooo cool. I've been here a couple of times now, and each time I'm left wanting to come back!! The building itself is so neat and there's so much to explore. There's a ton of seating ranging from cozy spots to talk to big tables to bring a group to! The owners are so incredibly sweet and hospitable and it's obvious they care a lot about their customers and their business, which is lovely. The food, as well, is delicious. I got the fish tacos and they were sooo tasty. They've got a full bar and a good selection of stuff on draft (I got a One Tree cider!). Definitely try this place out!! Where do I even begin?! This place was AMAZING! My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and brought our kids along so this place looked perfect. The train car was a major attraction for us in the first place! We walked in and immediately noticed the beautiful decorations and craftsmanship in the entire building. We were the only ones with kids so we were a little nervous going in there but they made sure to make us all feel welcome! We ordered yummy drinks and amazing food. Their fried pickles and French fries are at the top of my list for sure. It just so happened that we showed up on a night that Santa was going to be stopping by with the firefighters!! unfortunately ,we had to head out a little early because the kids were beginning to get antsy but they made sure to have warm fresh baked cookies for our kids when we left. We ended up coming back when we saw Santa was just around the corner and they were happy to welcome us back in so the kiddos could talk to Santa! I stopped in with some out of town family and thought food was good but cocktails could use some improvement . Could have been a new bartender or just the fact newer business figuring it out but, the sweet and sour whisky was way to sour and the Huckleberry Lemon Drop again way sour seems light on alcohol heavy on mixer. Talked to a friend that had same experience Bloody Mary was not good seemed to have club soda in it and a Pina Colanda not well done either. I'm hopeful drinks will improve ! read more

We had a cinnamon roll as an appetizer then all had Chicken Fried Chicken with wonderful gravy, eggs and potatoes!!! I live nearby this establishment & have stopped in a few times. I've tried the flatbreads, patty melts & fish & chips, so far. While I feel portion size is a bit on the light side, the food has been very good. Each of the flatbreads & especially the fish & chips. The breading in the fish was light & cooked perfectly. Also, with the exception of my last visit, the waitstaff has been very courteous & attentive (last visit had a couple errors on the order & didn't see our waiter at all for at least 15 minutes prior to asking someone else for our check). The management & owners have made an appearance to visit patrons every time we've been there & "while they ain't from around here", seem to be great people & committed to creating a family atmosphere that's comfortable & welcoming. We really enjoy this establishment & look forward to dropping in on a regular basis. read more

Back for another visit. First impression walking in - place is inviting and clean. Yes, a bar and restaurant, and super clean and comfortable. Just feels like a great place to spend a Friday evening. I'm reading all these five star reviews for Shindigs and I just don't see it. I finally decided to go with three stars only because the service was simply outstanding. I thought the food was ordinary and expensive. In my mind this is still a bar even though they've clearly made some changes inside. I sat on a wooden stool without a back so I could watch a football game on one of the many TVs. It wasn't very comfortable, my bad for choosing to sit there. I hoped to have an entree and an appetizer (I want to try the brussels sprouts) but couldn't justify the cost of buying them both at one meal. I'll try the sprouts some other time and amend this review if necessary. Shindigs isn't too far from my home and I hoped it would become a go-to meal option. Not yet. read more

Food menu is same as what it was as curley's. Mostly fried food and bar foods like burgers and flatbread. They no longer have any pool, darts, golden tee, dance floor, or live music.
