Result of happy faces from dinner!!

Second time here! We love this place. This is our night out place. This is a farm fresh bistro, amazing flavor combinations great service (Lisa is wonderful!) and kid friendly. We got the grilled cheese and apples for our kiddo, made with delicious flavorful cheeses for kids who like flavor! Our kid does. Crab cakes, chicken shiitake wraps and beet salad are incredible. Top it off with a root beer float amazing!

Parking was difficult to find. Street parking only. The table set up for our large party was done weirdly; we were put very close to other tables, and even though they knew I was going to be with a service dog, there was no safe place for him to sit. He was stepped on, tripped over, and accidentally kicked by a variety of staff. The service itself was good. Friendly and patient. The food was good too-- the creme brulee was huge and definitely shareable size. We all enjoyed our meals.

We loved the vibe at Mizuna - very cool ambience! Easy walk from the Davenport Grand made it even better. Our server was lovely but she was unfortunately playing role of server and bartender - this made for some very slow service! The food was good but not amazing given the prices. All in all nice experience and we would definitely go back for another!

New York steak with asparagus and Gorgonzola mashed potatoes
Onglee X.

We came here for a winter birthday. It was dimly lit inside which gave it kind of a romantic feel. I feel like the tables were too close to each other since when I got up I couldn't push my chair all the way back to get out . I did like the exposed red brick walls and local art displayed. The bread paired with olive oil and balsamic vinegar is always delicious at any place that serves it. We were a larger group and hungry so I appreciated them filling the bread basket and oil dip. I showed up a little late so I can't remember what the group ordered for appetizers, but it was good. For my main course I stuck with what I know will be good which is the steak and potatoes. My steak was cooked perfectly and medium rare. I have never had a New York and it was quite tender. I was quite surprised that I received more than a few asparagus spears and a dollop of mashed potato's. Which is always a bonus. The Gorgonzola mashed potatoes were delicious. Very creamy with a hint of cheese. The mashed potatoes were the star of the dish. I did also really like the assortment of mushrooms on top as well. Everyone in the group ordered different items. A couple of people ordered the duck special, the scallops, and the salmon. One ordered the salad and returned it because there wasn't enough dressing, and wasn't satisfied with the quality of the salad for the price. They all said their food was just okay. I enjoyed my steak and potatoes. Overall my food was good. But if I were going to go out for steak I would go somewhere else like Wolf Lodge or Churchhills.

Felt a little guilty showing up 30 minutes before they closed but they seated us with a smile, and our service was prompt, friendly and we were out before other tables who had been there before us. Nice place, good food, nice people. We ordered three appetizers and devoured it all. We didn't want anything heavy that late. Will definitely come again when we can enjoy a full meal and drinks here

Daily special was one of the best 5 meals I have ever had
Travis S.

If you are in the area don't miss this restaurant. It was honestly one of the top 5 meals I have ever had. I sat down outside and there were two menus one normal and the second vegetarian. I saw several things on both menus that sounded appealing but then the waitress mention the daily specials and one sounded really good so I went with that. I wish I knew all the ingredients or the name of the dish but she just told it to me so I have nothing to go on. It was a Pappardelle dish with spinach, mushrooms, feta cheese and the most interesting grilled white nectarines. I have never had grilled fruit with pasta before but it was incredible. The flavors worked so well with it all it as absolutely amazing. I can't wait to go back to this restaurant the next time I am in town and I hope they have that again. If not I'm sure everything is incredible on their menu.

Very good service and good food but a little high priced for what you get. I may go there for a special occasion but not just to dine out.

We arrived around 5:30pm and left around 8. When we arrived we immediately felt warm and cozy. The vibes are absolutely immaculate! There are plants and cute decor everywhere and the lighting is really soothing. We were shown to a table in the back that was more private and it really felt like we had our own little garden that we were hanging out in. The server was very nice and friendly. Both she and the other server or bartender were friendly and attentive. We ordered a bunch of drinks throughout the night. I had two pinky promises because I don't drink and they were absolutely delicious. They have some great mocktail options to choose from! We also got the hummus board and the bites board and they were fantastic! The hummus board had two rotating hummus options - one was a normal hummus and the other was a beet hummus. The pita chips seemed freshly made and were AMAZING. I wish I could take a bag to go with me! The bites board was also amazing and had some delicious cheeses. We asked to have the meats replaced with other things to make it vegetarian and it was fantastic. They should add it as a menu item, we loved every bit of it! It didn't feel like it had substitutions at all. We loved every second of our time there and kept saying how we wished it was local to us. This place is an absolute gem and I hope it gets more traction because of how wonderful it is. If I ever visit Spokane again I will absolutely be back here!

Being full of plants and dog friendly added to the appeal for our crew. The service and cocktails were top notch, though I was a little sad that most of the food options I was interested in were not available. The charcuterie and hummus plates were nice, and ample servings for our whole table. Our small group had a great experience, and I truly hope more people will recognize what a gem this place is!

Our drinks were always full and she answered all our questions. She brought me beer samples to figure out which one I wanted. The waiter was busy but always greeted and said goodbye to all guests coming and going. Food 10/10 For the tablet we got calamari, the Durkins famous double cheeseburger and the fried bologna sandwich. The food was extremely fresh! The cheese was melted to perfection. We left with full bellies but not feeling heavy. The food was decadent but not greasy. My husband got a mocktail, spiced cranberry and it was fabulous! My husband and I can't wait to go back. We paid approximately $100 with tip, so it's not cheap, but WORTH IT for the quality of food and service.

Upon my encounter with one of the bartenders, I was told that they only had one burger. It was a double burger and it came with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and a delicious pickle. The burger was spot-on and much better than I had anticipated. It was fairly large and filling and was cooked nicely. It came with some fries and a dipping sauce that always was a good adjunct to the burger. Burger came it to ~$25.00 which is expensive for a burger, but given inflation and the deliciousness this burger represented, I was satisfied. Ambiance-wise, it is a nice looking bar that serves food, and they make upscale drinks. Definitely was not planning on having drinks here, but the bartender was nice enough to agree to make me a royal aviation as they make regular aviations. I will definitely be back for that and I am looking forward to it. Highly recommend this place!

The decor is stunning, with many photo frames hanging, candles, open kitchen and bar, looks very fancy. Definitely gives an "anniversary" energy. The restaurant is a family-style setup, so it's better to go with a group of friends and sharing, and that you can try more dishes. Reservations are a must, as it gets busy fast. What i tried: * Starter: Caesar salad and ricotta focaccia. Both solid, but that focaccia really stands out - soft, rich, a bit sweet and super satisfying * Pasta: Both alla vodka and bolognese are very delicious, comforting and well-balanced, I couldn't stop eating. But the limone (lemon butter pasta) was a bit too disappointing. I had one in April 2025 and I remember it was so delicious, but this time it isn't as good. * Appetizers: Dante's meatballs are must try here, HUGE, super tender, flavorful and sitting in a bright, tangy tomato sauce. Very classic but addictive. This is also my first time trying arancini (fried rice ball with gouda and pepper), which had a nice crispy outside with a creamy texture inside. Also highly recommend you should order it here. * For main dishes: We had NY steak, a bit too salty though it was cooked perfectly. Franzino (pan seared fish) was fresh and delicate with lemon, butter, and capers. I also tried the chicken parmigiana and it's always my favorite thing here, crispy, cheesy, and very comforting. * Cocktails were just as good as the food. I had Sorella gin martini and Hugo spritz - both delicious but Hugo spritz was my favorite, a bit sour from lemon and refreshing from mint - a good paired for all the food I got. * Dessert: I tried both vanilla gelato and lemon sorbet. Average, nothing too exciting. Overall: great spot for a date night or group dinner when you want good Italian food in a fancy restaurant in Spokane! Highly recommend.

The ambiance is lovely. Good wine, interesting cocktails, freshly made focaccia ( at $14/ serving…read more-it should be) salads are tasty. But this restaurant is very pricey for inconsistent food. We've been twice now- didn't love it enough the first time but wanted to give it a second chance. The lemon pasta was divine the first time- but my carbonara was unflavored paste- I literally thought I had COVID and lost the ability to taste food but everyone else's food tasted good so that theory didn't hold up. This time I ordered the lemon pasta and instead of creamy, delightful and tasty it was a little bland and watery. The waitress "fixed it " by offering me more Parmesan to thicken it. I'd added prawns- they were nice. My companion ordered the veal parm- the tomato sauce wasn't amazing and the breading was a bit heavy. He wasn't impressed and didn't finish the dish. The risotto was just OK. Again, it's very pricey for just OK. The food isn't trash but if you've had great food you don't want to pay so much for just ok. We would rather spend the money at Luna or Francaise or Wooden City. Dessert was yummy. The first time we went we arrived first seating and it looked like the AARP theater crowd, the last night we went seemed like a galantine's preview! So if you're there for the drinks, appetizers and ambiance it's quite nice. I can't endorse it whole heartedly because the entree's weren't consistently good enough to give the full 5 stars. Service was fine and we tipped accordingly. Good luck!
