Stopped by on Memorial day for lunch as I had heard that this was healthy fast/casual fair. We had the greek steak bowl and the siracha honey chicken with pineapple, and the lemonaid /strawberry. It was overall pretty good. It did feel healthy and fresh, but I kinda wished the whole thing was just better. The steak bowl had good flavor but the steak was in big chunks so you had to tear it appart with your fingers as you just had plastic fork for eating. Overall, the steak was good but chewy. The chicken in the bowl was cooked well and had good char, it was mixed in a bit of glaze and rice/slaw/ pineapple. Overall tasty, just kind of needs a bit more components or maybe more seasoned rice. Maybe my expectations were too high. Anyhow, was just ok for me. But, is a nice and appreciate the healthy option. It was my first time at Konala and I I ordered a chicken burrito bowl . My husband and I shared it and we weren't impressed. The rice was dry and still crunchy. We finally got around to trying Konala in Post Falls and went through the drive-thru for takeout. This was our first visit, and it definitely won't be our last! I ordered the poke bowl with fresh fish, thinly sliced cucumber, and their dynamite sauce, served over half white and half brown rice. It was absolutely delicious--the fish was buttery and melt-in-your-mouth, perfectly complemented by the crunchy cucumber and bold, creamy sauce. I only wish there had been more cucumber to balance the richness! My husband went for the honey sriracha chicken bowl, which came with fresh pineapple and cucumber. He loved the bold, spicy-sweet flavors and said the heat level was just right. His only critique? He would've loved more pineapple to balance the spice. Overall, Konala delivers on fresh, high-quality ingredients with big, satisfying flavors. The drive-thru was quick and convenient, making it an easy option for a meal on the go. Finally made it to the Konala in CDA recently and it was great, so we decided to try this location today. It was a poor experience nearly all around. The guy taking our order was not particularly friendly, there is no restroom that we noticed (not a huge deal, but disappointing), and there's nowhere to wait in the shade...which wouldn't have been a huge deal if it hadn't taken nearly 20 minutes to get our order of two bowls. The couple who ordered right in front of us was nearly done eating by the time we got our food. Then we later discovered that they forgot the sauce on one of them so it was completely dry. We will try Konala again, but will likely never return to this location - this place is a hot mess! read more

This past Friday, a couple friends and I were finally able to stop in to Konala, in Post Falls. What I didn't know when we arrived was that it doesn't have any dine-in option but they do have a few tables (with umbrellas) outside, so you can sit there and enjoy their food. We each tried something different and each of us really liked what we ordered. The first order was their Teriyaki Chicken bowl with half white rice and half greens. My friend enjoyed it, but did get some additional teriyaki sauce. I was the second to order and went with their Poke Bowl, with all greens as my base. The Ahi Tuna was fresh and delicious. Easy to eat, there was zero silver skin to deal with. This was one of the best poke salads I have had in a while. The spicy mayo had a nice little kick and the cucumber salad that was part of the toppings really added a wonderful flavor. The last to order asked the person taking our orders what their favorite was. He stated that he really liked the seasonal bowl which was Mango Blackened Shrimp, so my friend went with that on half brown rice and half greens. She said it was so yummy and did have a little kick. They didn't skimp on the shrimp and was very happy she gave it a try. We all agreed that we'll be coming back. Another thing we all agreed on was that if this was in Spokane, we would probably find ourselves there a lot! One other thing that deserves a mention, they do have a drive-thru. read more

It's really good BUT the portions are so small. I got a pole bowl and it has barely any rice. I literally had three bites and the bowl was almost empty. Next time I will make sure to check the bowl to make sure they don't cheap out on the base, rice or salad. read more

the staff is very friendly, however I have asked several times to please not put the vain part of the steak the Greek steak salad meat. It's always too grainy so all you can do is chew it and then spit it in the garbage and $16. I think you should be able to get some meat that you can actually chew and swallow I get this bowl almost on a daily basis I have asked several times because sometimes it's good meat, however last week it was 3x and this was after I addressed the issue twice. so I'm done now but I did try numerous times in hopes it would get better. I feel like I have wasted money and I'm not wanting to do that anymore. but the staff is really friendly and good. I just wish they had better meat in the Greek bowl. read more

So happy we decided to stop here for a quick lunch! We tried the Burrito and Greek bowls and they were both delicious! The flavors were awesome and chicken and meat were both great choices. Super fast and friendly service too. This location is easily accessible-right off of the freeway in the case that you're just passing by and looking for a quick bite to eat. Stopped here 9/29 around 7pm on the way home from visiting family in Oregon. We ordered 2 regular bowls and 2 kids bowls. We got our order and began to drive home. We handed out the bowls and noticed we got 4 regular bowls. The issue was that we got the blackened shrimp bowl instead of the Mango Blackened shrimp because the kids would not eat it with the mango on it. We went back and not only did they remake the bowls they refunded the extra cost. On top of that they gave use protein balls on the house. We've always loved their food but now they've created life long customers just for the experience. I can't remember their names but it was an all female crew that crushed it! My wife ordered the burrito bowl and the chicken Siracha bowl. The burrito bowl was fine. The chicken bowl had 5 small pieces of chicken. Literally the size of a small tenderloin cut up. Most of my bowl was rice and salad... If they are going to charge high prices you think you would get decent amount of protein.. We also noticed they shrunk the sizes of the bowls as we had an old one my wife kept and compared. High prices, inconsistent amount of protein, and shrinking overall bowl sizes without adjusting the prices. I really wanted to like this place. I've eaten here 10 plus times over the last couple years but this will unfortunately be our last. read more

Overall, I'd likely just go hungry and wait until I have a better option before I'd go here again. It's OK if you're looking for decent macros in a pinch. I had the burrito bowl which is 73 grams of protein and I added steak so likely close to 100g of protein and 34 or so grams of carbs. The meat was overcooked and dry but they add a ranch sauce and it's edible. 27g of fat from the ranch, which I'm sure has seed oil base. My total for just the bowl was $21. read more

Tried this place out for the first time in June 2023. Drive up was quick and service friendly. Ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl with veggies. Pretty good. Rice though to me wasn't cooked enough? A little bland. Chicken pretty good but missing that "char" I normally love and get with most every other Teriyaki joint. May try it again or get one of their salads next. Okay, so I'll try to keep this brief. I love Konala. Food is always on point, in presentation, generous portion sizes, amazing flavor. I'm at coffee with my friends and someone brings up Konala. I immediately think to myself, "I only go there when I have cash because they don't allow tips on my card or Apple Pay." Before I could say anything, one of my friends says exactly what I was thinking and before I could agree, another friend emphatically agreed, which makes mine sound like I'm just being agreeable. Konala, if three of us only go to Konala when we have cash so we can tip, and we rarely carry cash, could you imagine how many more times we would collectively go to your establishment if you removed that hurdle from the equation. Look, you have hired amazing talent! They are some of the best in the area. Allow the customer to say thank you. I know that it would be in the best interest of everyone involved. We don't want to continue to pass on your establishment because we don't have cash on us. It's not hard to add a tip option on your point of sale. Perfect for those days when you forget to pack a lunch, and can't do fast food again!! The Greek bowl is my favorite. The Teriyaki one is good too. The poke one is good too! I like mine with the white rice! Sometimes I get the kids one because I can't finish the regular size. I'm going to ask if I can get the kids size with the regular toppings next time. I gave Konala in Post Falls five stars. I was a bit put off by the drive-thru format (and the price) but decided I'd make it work because I like the idea of a healthy meal and I think Konala's meals are healthy. I had the burrito bowl with greens. The bowl looked small for the price when it was passed to me at the drive thru window. But after sitting down to eat it I decided there was plenty of food in the filled to the brim bowl for a decent meal, I was satisfied. I really enjoyed the flavors and blend of foods and spices in the bowl. I had a can of grape soda with it but didn't care for the soda simply because it was sweetened with stevia and I am not a fan. There's only 45 calories in the 12 ounce can of soda so if you're a calorie watcher then this may become your fav beverage. read more
