    Chips, salsa, and queso

Tonight a couple friends and I tried out 3 Ninjas, in Liberty Lake. The restaurant was clean and the people working there were kind and knowledgeable. It's a place where you order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. They have plenty of canned sodas, juices, sparkling waters, beers and other drinks to choose from. We started with an order of chips, salsa and queso. The chips had a nice seasoning on them. The fire-roasted salsa had good flavor. The queso wasn't my favorite. The three of us all tried something different and we all thoroughly enjoyed our choices. I went with their Firecracker chicken bowl with shredded cabbage. I was also able to substitute grilled chicken for fried chicken. The flavor was wonderful, not too spicy (even with the jalapeños). The shredded cabbage base worked perfectly. One friend went with their orange chicken bowl, with rice as the base. She really liked it. Loved the Asian slaw and pineapple salsa. My other friend asked what their popular dish was and was told about their bulgogi. Which made her decide to go with the Bulgogi tacos. She was impressed with the flavor. There was a little crunch from the wonton chips and the beef was tender with great flavor. This is a place I will definitely go again.

The chips and salsa were yummy, and they have a good selection of hot sauces. Solid dishes. Very glad they're in our area for uber eats delivery.

The Thai Lemongrass Tacos were so good I downloaded Yelp just to write about them. I ordered mine as a bowl over cabbage, but I *wish* I had ordered them as tacos -- they were perfect and would have been even better in a tortilla!!! I got my order to go, but in the time I was in store, Steve (one of the co-owners) took my order and was so friendly, asking what my daughter's name is and remembering facts about her to give us a thoughtful goodbye and a warm welcome back to the restaurant for our next visit. I truly felt like I was treated the same way he would have treated a good friend if they dropped in for a visit. Thank you to Steve and the back of the house crew for an exceptional experience! Can't wait to come back.

Favorite spot in Spokane. That fire is the best wrap around hands down no contest. Only if you're into the whole flavor thing though! Real solid people every time I go in. I'll be an S-Tier 3Ninjas advocate until my demise Also the house chips are not to be treated like you would a regular old tortilla chip, pay them respect as well.

Headed to this new place to check out thinking I was heading into a Mexican restaurant (the sugar skulls made me think so). When I got in and checked out the menu I was surprised. There was Greek Italian Asian and Mexican. So many styles of food to choose from and all sounded delicious. My son and I ended up sharing a firecracker bowl and chips and salsa. And we each got a can beverage. Firecracker bowl had chicken and pineapple cabbage rice and noodles and a plethora of red chili sauce and slices of fresh jalapeno. Tasty and it lived up to its name. my mouth was on fire. My son and I enjoyed sharing it with leftovers to take home. The chips and salsa were tasty as well. There was some kind of seasoning on the chips that gave it a unique flavor and the salsa definitely had roasted peppers of some sort in there. I believe one of the owners came out to ask how our food was and was more than helpful getting my son some water and a top for our leftovers. You can always tell the difference between a franchise and a mom and pop shop. Friendliness and services always better because they take pride in what they do. I'll definitely be back as the menu was very inviting.

There isn't much seating inside and on the day we were there it was unseasonably cold, so patio seating was out of the question. We were able to play a little table Tetris with some of the other diners and piece together a spot for the three of us. The interior is decorated with lucha libre masks and art, so it adds a funky vibe. There was one waitress holding down the restaurant and she was on top of it! She greeted us and was back within a few minutes to take our order. I'm primarily vegetarian, but sometimes splurge on seafood, so I couldn't pass up the Shrimp Al Fuego taco as I love spicy food. It was large for a street taco and was packed with large, juicy shrimp. I will say it was not that spicy, as advertised, (although I have a high spice tolerance) and a bit on the expensive side, but very flavorful. I do wish the tortilla was warmed or toasted to amplify the flavor. They had a huge selection of hot sauces, including some local ones, which was really cool. I was tempted to try a margarita, but they didn't have the seasonal huckleberry jalapeño available, so I decided to stick with water. The others in my party ordered the Marinated Steak taco and the Beef Adobada burrito. Everyone really enjoyed their food and it's definitely about I'd try again.

Was really excited to walk in and find a giant dining hall, industrial space that was home to several boutique, food truck food businesses housed in this building. Staff was kind and service was fairly quick. It seemed to the the one place during the lunch hour that had a steady line while i was there. It was charred just the right amount to make the flavor pop. The other taco tried by my companion was the chicken. Again with the perfect texture and salivating flavors. We both agree that it was done so well and filled us up that $8 was worth paying for one taco. It's hard for me to say that after living in San Antonio and eating tacos daily. Even the $1 tacos are freaking amazing in SA. I also want to mention the sauce. Yes....I'm talking about the salsas. They are all wonderful and the creamy one was very special. We ordered chips with guacamole and queso. We were surprised that we were charged $8 for both. So chips and those two dippings cost $16 total. I guess they don't offer them separately? So we had to pay for double chips? It was way too expensive for the tiniest guacamole and small queso. We tried the elotes as well and again very small portion and not up to what I'm accustomed to, but still delicious if you're new to this dish or just have a hankering. We had a great time at the Wonder Building which was the location we ate. Staff was so friendly and kind. They answered all of our questions and even checked on us afterwards to see what we thought of our tacos. Just to confirm.... the tacos are so yummy and need your immediate attention. I just recommend skipping the sides. Come through for a taco and give your taste buds what they need.

How wrong I was!!! We found this place on Yelp and it looked like a winner...4.7stars and right next to our hotel. We dined on a Saturday night and the place was packed...we got the last open table. I really loved the decorations inside- colorful, festive, and some really neat Dia De Los Muertos styled paintings. Our server was great and went through the menu...lots of selections. I wasn't super hungry so I got 3 street tacos (1 al pastor, 1 carnitas and 1 tinga). My son got an al pastor quesadilla and my wife got pollo tacos. The chips and salsa were good and held us over until the food came. When the food came they also brought out 3 more salsas in squeeze bottles and all of these were great too. All 3 of my street were very flavorful and all incredibly tender. Sometimes chicken and carnitas can be pretty bland but not here...these were exactly what I was looking for. My family loved their food as well and we left wishing we had a Los Habaneros Taqueria back in AZ! When I was paying for our meal at the cashier several people were picking up to go meals and heard we were from AZ visiting and both parties said we found the best spot in Spokane for Mexican food.
