I was really craving tacos today. I had another place in my sites but parking was so bad on the other side of the river, this place popped up and I made my way. Was really excited to walk in and find a giant dining hall, industrial space that was home to several boutique, food truck food businesses housed in this building. Prices were decent and for what you get, was well worth the money spent. Tacos and sides a like all had unique and delicious flavors. I won't lie, I think I ate too much but it was just so good. Staff was kind and service was fairly quick. It seemed to the the one place during the lunch hour that had a steady line while i was there. A very big shout out to these tacos. That grilled sweet potato is cooked so perfectly that vegetarians may feel a little misty with each bite. It was charred just the right amount to make the flavor pop. The other taco tried by my companion was the chicken. Again with the perfect texture and salivating flavors. We both agree that it was done so well and filled us up that $8 was worth paying for one taco. It's hard for me to say that after living in San Antonio and eating tacos daily. Even the $1 tacos are freaking amazing in SA. I also want to mention the sauce. Yes....I'm talking about the salsas. They are all wonderful and the creamy one was very special. We ordered chips with guacamole and queso. We were surprised that we were charged $8 for both. So chips and those two dippings cost $16 total. I guess they don't offer them separately? So we had to pay for double chips? It was way too expensive for the tiniest guacamole and small queso. We tried the elotes as well and again very small portion and not up to what I'm accustomed to, but still delicious if you're new to this dish or just have a hankering. We had a great time at the Wonder Building which was the location we ate. Staff was so friendly and kind. They answered all of our questions and even checked on us afterwards to see what we thought of our tacos. Just to confirm.... the tacos are so yummy and need your immediate attention. Oh man. I HIGHLY recommend this!!! I had high hopes when this place first started taking form in the Wonder building, but Uno Mas blew me away. I asked what they recommended, and the guy working told me he liked the barbacoa. After going through a couple options (like what type of salsa I wanted, corn or flour tortillas, and whether I wanted all the toppings), I paid and waited. I'm telling you, this taco was amazing. A really nice blend of flavors, and it paired amazingly with the salsa verde I went with. The meat was super juicy and flavorful (not dry and sad like I've had at some other places), and there was a lot of it. My one taco filled me up nicely for my lunch, although I regret not getting another one. I'll have to try them again soon! All in all, please go visit Uno Mas. My husband and I had a great dinner! We both wanted a Quesadilla. I got cheese and he got chicken. Both delicious! The Elote was heaven. I hadn't had it in awhile and decided to order. I will be ordering again. Their fresh hot chips and house made salsa rounded out the meal and were very good - crispy, light, warm. Perfect to go with dinner. Tucked away next to a parking structure they are in what used to be a Wonder Bread bakery and now repurposed into various businesses. Tried the El Charro - a Carnitas taco, a Barbacoa taco, Elotes (in a cup), and their Frijoles Charro. All in all, a very good lunch. Tested the green salsa, the red, and the habanero sauce. Oh my gosh it doesn't get any better than this. Chad White really did it again! This place is amazing! The Wonder Building itself has all the best vibes and we walked over here - I was pleasantly surprised by the Saturday Market. It was busy and there was hustle and bustle all over, but Uno Mas was colorful and inviting in every way. The menu is amazing - we ordered lots of different goodies and tried all the things. The queso dip, the corn, the guac, the sauces.....sooooo good. The tacos are absolutely outstanding also - there is cheese in the tortillas! I tried the fish taco and loved it. Uno más is quite possibly my favorite taco place ever. The portions are big, the meat is amazing, and their queso is definitely the best I've had in town. Some tacos are still great BUT they recently changed the beef option from barbacoa to carne asada and it's not ok. The barbacoa was very tender and flavorful. It might have been the best beef taco in town that wasn't birria style. This new carne asada beef is the chewiest thing I've ever had including a pacifier as a baby. Truly inedible. And if you get the pescado (fish), I definitely recommend requesting light seasoning. If not, it tends to overwhelm the fish and is a bit too sailty. read more

Let me start by saying I have loved Uno Mas in the Wonder building, so going to the location on Monroe made sense. Such a disappointment...the music was bad, the seating was uncomfortable and the food was over priced along with the smallest margarita ever (and unsure what I was tipping for since the service was not really service). Great spot, and definitely adds some solid significance to the growing quality food scene in Spokane. We ordered everything on the menu, and for under $100 I'd say it was worth the outing. All the tacos were great, and very thoughtful prepared (my favorite was the fish taco). I'd also like to give a massive shout out to the salsas and sides, mostly the corn and beans...holy s***! Immediately inviting; a friend and I just happened upon them while visiting town. First, the customer service is incredible. We were immediately greeted and one of the employees was kind enough to explain the menu to us as we decided. We had ordered lime Topo Chicos, and we're soon informed they were unfortunately out. They instead offered us plain and fresh cut limes for us to add! Food came out quickly and was even delivered to our table. My friend and I ordered a taco each, pollo and barbacoa respectively. We also got chips and guacamole and elote to share. The elote was delicious, just the right amount of cream and spice. The chips weren't excessively salty and perfect to pair with guacamole and salsa. The only mark I'd ding on is the guacamole was, delicious and fresh, but really just mashed avocado with onion and cilantro; not a lot of seasoning going on there. That said, mixing the guacamole with salsa was perfect and I'd definitely recommend trying the jalapeño or verde. Tacos were great as well and one is just enough with a side. Bonus tip: save some of the chips to drag through the extra sauce and oil that dropped from the tacos! Normally their food is so good, but yesterday it was just average. I understand that they had a simplified menu for Hoopfest and were stretched thin by the crowds, but they didn't do their usual melting of cheese on the tortillas, which is what normally sets their tacos apart. Ok, so the taco itself deserves 10 stars...best taco I've ever had anywhere, hands down. I had the Chicken, and it was SO full of flavor. Wow. I dunno if they were trying to be hipster trendy but there was basically no cotija cheese in it. The little that was in there wasn't mixed in but put smeared on the inside of the cup.
