A Spokane staple for Hawaiian food! While prices have changed due to inflation since the last time I visited, the quality did not. Aloha continues to serve delicious meals! I love the teriyaki chicken, the pork, and the mac salad. Glad to see this local spot is still going! Would recommend!

The best part of this meal is the salad tbh with you guys. Pork was drowned in salt

The best part of the food was the salad. Pork was drowned in salt. Be careful going thru the drive thru, the stupid fence they have blocks the view of traffic.

Teriyaki chicken on the right is supposed to be with macaroni salad.

We ordered takeout, our first time eating food from this place and it will be the last. I ordered teriyaki chicken with macaroni salad because that's the best part of food. I did not receive mac salad, I received pea salad! I can't even say how disappointed I was. To make it worse my chicken was literally burnt in the ends and not in a good way. It just tasted burnt. Plus it was dry. The only thing that was decent was the small order of fried shrimp. It says it comes with Mae Poe sauce which was actually just sweet chili sauce. I feel like I flushed $70 straight down the toilet.

I love this place. Teriyaki chicken is the go to, katsu and especially the garlic chicken is amazing. Fight your inner self about getting the Mac or pea salad. Get the Mac, put lava sauce on it.

Service sucks and so does the food. The food tasted like it was reheated, the service was like the "soup Nazi", and it was overpriced.

Frank's Diner is Washington's oldest dining car restaurant (the railcar was manufactured in 1906…read moreand converted into a diner in 1931) and was voted the best breakfast spot in Spokane by the local publication Inlander. While this Downtown location is the flagship diner, Frank's Diner also opened a second location in North Spokane. [Parking]: The diner has a designated parking lot and I had no issue finding an available spot at 6 PM on a weekday. [Atmosphere]: Upon entering, there is a sign stating that the diner serves "15 thousand eggs and 3 tons of hash browns per month." The railcar has a great retro vibe and visitors can choose between bar seating and table seating. [Menu]: Yelp's top recommended items include Eggs Benedict and Chicken-Fried Steak. Breakfast favorites are served with hashbrowns or fruit and a choice of toast. There is also no extra charge for adding gravy or grilled onions to your hashbrowns. Do yourself a favor and choose the hashbrowns and also ask to add gravy on hashbrowns. *** Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs (Half-pound crispy chicken fried steak with cream gravy and two eggs - sunny side, gravy on hashed brown, biscuit - $22.00): My waitress, Jenn, recommended the biscuit so I went with it. The hashbrowns were absolutely heavenly - crispy on the edges and moist on the inside. It was hands down one of the best hashbrowns I have ever had. The gravy was silky smooth. And holy crap the biscuit was a home run - ultra fluffy + amazing tasting jam (not overly sweet). The portion was so large that I had enough leftovers for the next day. *** It was an unexpected find in Spokane and absolutely S-tier for both food quality and service. In fact, I think the food here is better than many classic and upscale breakfast spots in Los Angeles. Absolutely a must-visit in Spokane.

We had a lovely glass of California chardonnay and we both ordered the salmon as our entrée. The salmon was served with corn, onions and celery with roasted potatoes and a salmon cream sauce. That's probably the highlight of the whole experience. I started with the Cheshire Cat mocktail, which was a bit oversweet for me. For main course, I had sea bass for $48 (pan-seared fish served with onion-potato gnocchi, charred asparagus, mushrooms, and asparagus coulis). It was decent, but the portion felt small for the price. Salmon rillette ended up being the best dish! It was rich, savoury, and delicious when paired with pickled onions (the bread was slightly burnt - I hated it). Ended the meal with a vanilla gelato dessert - just okay, not too wow. The restaurant was so packed and seemed understaffed, so service took forever. I left feeling a bit disappointed, especially after looking forward to it so much

This place is inside Saranac Commons, very pretty and is a good place to slow down for lunch or coffee. Staff were kind, attentive, and happy to answer questions about the menu. Definitely a place I'd come back to whenever I'm in Spokane.
