It was alright. Customer service was poor- I was the only one there and one employee she didn't seem to care about anything just whatcha want- ok.. so got my order portions were meh for the large the scoop is a lot smaller than I'm used to. Freshness was meh- the fish wasn't cold- I didn't get sick- but they clearly aren't keeping anything chilled which poke is supposed to do for you. Their sauce squeeze was minimal. Walked in at 8:10 to get some food. As soon as I walk in. The lady (business owner) yells at me saying they are closed, even though the close time is at 8:30. I then proceed to say but you guys close at 8:30? And she then YELLS yet again at me saying "NO WE ARE CLOSED". I look at the people in line that they are serving and look back at the lady and say again.. "but you guys are open?" She then YELLS at me even louder saying "NOOOO WE ARE CLOSED", while shaking her head at. I have never in my entire life been so disrespected by a restaurant. It was absolutely disgusting on how this lady belittled me while completely not considering how easy it would have been to take 2 minutes out of her time to serve me when they had 20 minutes before closing. We purchased a coupon book from our local elementary school. We decided to give Poke Express a try. The coupon was deceiving. It clearly states buy one get one bowl free. When we got there they decided that it is not valid and said we can get 4 dollars off with purchase of two bowls. I would have paid full price regardless of the coupon. It looks like a simple menu but there are so many options within each bowl! The staff was great as I navigated this new to me food. We were able to try out the calamari before just adding it to the bowl (highly recommended and I'm not a person). Very fresh and will go again. The milk tea is made in house and was also good. Yummmm! I haven't had Poke for a long time and it is really good to finally be able to eat them. One large bowl and two Boba tea were $27. I think it was pretty reasonable. I would definitely come back to eat more! I liked that fact that we can add a lot of vegetables on top of the fish. The food is amazing and I repeatedly go back because it is so fresh. Despite the amazing food and taste, the workers are not friendly at all and are not the smartest. The main girl working always has headphones in and then proceeds to ask you to repeat yourself. This is an unprofessional environment and they are also not friendly. They don't waste time greeting you with a smile or "hello" and just get straight to trying to be done with serving you as soon as they can. They have another young girl working there who was unable to sell me a gift card and had to get the manager. They are also very stingy with the toppings. Overall, the food is great which is why i continue to go there, but the service and attitude of the workers could be improved greatly. read more

This shop is the newest of 3 and it did not disappoint! I stopped in today with my boyfriend to try their poke bowls, I had a small and he had a large. We both opted for white rice, salmon, tuna, eel and from there chose different toppings (which I attached to my pictures). The bowls were seriously so delicious, the fish was fresh, rice was warm, and the service was fantastic. My boyfriend who spent 7 months in Japan thought was up to par considering their raw fish:) The owners Yoko and Tommy were also so kind and friendly. On top of Poke Expresses' wide assortment of fish (and chicken) they had a large selection of toppings ranging from seaweed salad to pickled daikon radish and seriously so much more. They also had quite the variety of sauces; unagi, spicy Hawaiian, the list goes on! For drinks I had two, the Thai tea with boba which was pretty good and a can of strawberry-guava Aloha maid which was BOMB. I've never had Poke before. Came here based on a recommendation from a friend and I'm glad I did. The food is fantastic! Fresh and delicious. It's basically a sushi bowl to me that you pick your protein and toppings on. I'm sure someone who understands better what Poke is might disagree with that :) none-the less I love the food here. Great Selection of sauces, toppings and proteins. My fav are the Salmon, Tuna and Unagi. They are generous with their portions. I have been 3 times now and have never been disappointed. read more

My daughter and I just stopped in because we have been wanting to try their Boba Tea. First of all the girl with the brown hair in a low ponytail was so extremely rude! She talked to us like the very thought of serving us ruined her entire day. The first thing she barked at us was "are you getting drinks, come down here". Then my total that rang up on the cash register looked low so I asked if there were 3 drinks on our order and she rolled her eyes and said "yes, 3 drinks" but the total on my receipt was way higher than the total on the cash register. We ordered 3 milk teas and they were absolutely disgusting. I'm not sure what she is doing to them but they had way, way to much syrup and almost no milk. We couldn't even drink them. I'm so disappointed because we really wanted to love it and the food smelled amazing but if she's working there we will not be back. read more

Went in and asked for boba tea. I saw that they were making boba milk tea not boba milk smoothie. I said something to them and the guy with long hair said to me "come on guy, pay attention!" I held my tongue and said nothing in response. Though I should have been clear when I meant boba iced tea so they did not assume milk tea, I am utterly disappointed that a new restaurant would already have such unprofessionalism. They made the smoothie with big ice chunks, I had to crew my way to any flavor. Won't be going back their anytime soon. If a restaurant treats their customers like this I can't imagine what they do to our food in the back. The owner obviously don't care for customer service, as the (what seemed to be owner) did not correct the employees behavior. Worst place ever. If I could give this place a 0 I would. The girl working was SO RUDE. She was short, with a messy ponytail and looking like she hated her job. She's prob 16 or 17... When we got inside she asked what we wanted and we told her, then proceeded to ask "what more" I listed the other drinks and she rudely interrupted saying "come down here cause I'm not remembering all that." The boba we got was just terrible. I feel like she added extra pumps of unnecessary syrups. We'll just got a 2 scoop poke bowl, got like only 10 pieces of poke. Unfortunately they are a little selfish in scooping out the poke. I don't think I'll be going back. If you want customers don't be scared of scooping out protein in that bowl we're definitely paying for it. read more
