I was there on August 5th, and was very pleased. I ordered the shrimp basket, and the shrimp came out very hot and fresh. The lady giving it to me even warned me not to burn myself when eating it. It was very good! There was also another lady going around cleaning tables, and was asking everyone how they were doing and was very polite to the customers. It has a 70s retro charm to it, and it's been a staple in the valley since I was a kid. I recently moved back here, and it was fun going back there again, and was happy with my experience. read more

I don't know what I did to piss off the woman working cashier, but the absolute seething hatred and disdain she expressed to my wife and I who came in for the first time tonight is inexcusable. We were super polite and ordered normal things off the menu, so I don't know why she hated us so much. Seriously just awful customer service and never coming back. GFY read more

Ron's Drive-In - My receipt - Burgers Near Me - Spokane Valley, Washington

Since 1980... That's a pretty good stretch. They've always been a good spot to grab drive-in food. What I noticed today was a pretty old building, but kept in decent shape by the team. Wifey loves a Pork Tenderloin sam when she can find it, and theirs was a pretty big patty. I grabbed one of their signature burgers, to go along with a silly order of Clam Strips on impulse, and the clams were as you'd imagine this far inland, haha. But leftovers got ate up by the aborigines at home, with no complaints. Nice to visit this joint, again. I bet they're doing what they do 50 years from now... read more

Used to be really good, now they don't put sauce on the Grilled Chicken sandwich!? Also don't accept $50 well your prices for 2 people came to $30! And we didn't even order a meal just 2 sandwiches and ice cream! So why won't you take a 50! You have fallen off Ron! read more

We are new to the area and tried Ron's on a whim recently. I was simply blown away by the "bucket of fries". We ordered it because it was more affordable than buying each of our kiddos their own fries - needless to say between our family of 6 we still had leftovers the following day or so! I can't eat much here due to allergies, but my family enjoyed their burgers and corn dogs and I tasted a couple fries and they were very tasty. A great spot to feed a family of 6 at a reasonable price! read more

Ron's Drive-In - This was after taking a little out - this is a standard sized takeout bag! - Burgers Near Me - Spokane Valley, Washington

Yummy food! Great prices. Car show out front was an added touch. A small town vibe in a growing city. Food was timely and service was friendly. High chairs and booster seats available. Bathroom situation is not as family friendly as it's outside, needs a key code, and wasn't very clean. Overall it was a nice experience and I plan to go back again soon! read more

Navigated through traffic next door (buy wander), which if you've seen it, you know it's a long wait and blocks the local businesses. Went in to use the bathroom and order dinner and was told that the bathroom was "locked for the night". It was 7 pm. She said they didn't close for another hour. You'd think you'd be more accommodating to customers that go out of their way to give them business. We didn't sick around to see what else they'd shut down for the night. read more

Great ezcellent quakity burgers. Locally owned and consistent. Eat there once a week abd their double big r is delishious.

Ron's drive in was a good place to substitute for your nasty everyday fast food burger chains. The classic burger meal deal is good and very inexpensive too. Food was hot and fresh definitely not under a heat lamp waiting for you, made fresh on the spot. Yall go and enjoy. read more

Terrible . Do not go there . Chicken breading bad fries raw . It will not let me post if don't have 85 words zero stars

The food is fantastic, the people are super kind! What I love about the place is the feel is like an old style diner.

Ron's Drive in is the sort of burger joint that is review proof. Every neighborhood has an independent operator cranking out burgers, fries, etc. It's close to the house and the food is familiar, the staff friendly and the service prompt. My visit included a burger and fries with a soda. Everything was prepared and served quickly. It was all tasty. Places like Ron's always lure one back. Thanks for making my lunch time visit memorable. read more

Not sure what Ron's everyone else is going to but have been going here for the past 17 years. Time changes everything. Ron's staff used to be young, polite and on-point. The past three time have been here may have been my last for awhile. Had a question about the menu at the drive thru. I have a menu question, reply: WHAT? Female staff. Order some seafood combo owners favorite. The listing says come with tartar and cocktail sauce. Super tall male with super curly hair hands the bat with our order out the window with a "here!". We drove off and made the mistake of checking on the sauce after leaving the D/T. No sauce. Pulled around to the doors, went in, informed the same male that there was no sauce. He looked at me like...and? I said and we would like the sauce tarter, cocktail, and ranch like we ordered. He went toward the D/T window and returned with six tubs of sauce stacked between his right thumb and index finger impressive pet trick. He tried them hand them to me that way. I asked for.a bag.lit was just stupid. No sorry, no acknowledgement. Zero f*** given. We decided to eat in the parking lot. We were there 10 minutes ago saw two other cars come out of the D/T , check their bags and saw the driver pull around to the doors, get out, and come out with.l sauces. I am not sure if this place sold, the next generation took overs, or COVID messed the stuff up but zero attention, care, courtesy from Ron's now. Was never that way except the past few months. Judging by the weeds in the parking stalls right against the building pretty clear no one cares enough to pull a giant 24" weed that has been growing for weeks if not months . It has got to be tough to run such a business in these times. One can forgive not great service for great food and not great food for courteous service. Asking for both is a bit much. Ron: if your sales are down, your staff may be a component I am sorry to say. read more

Decent price and taste for fast food. I like the specials for each day. The bag of burgers is a great deal too. We had burgers, fries and onion rings with a few drinks. Onion rings were tasty. Basket of fries was huge and the burgers were ok.. Will come back again. read more

I was up visiting some friends in Spokane and they hyped up Ron's Drive-In to me the entire time. Spokane gets the fresh Idaho potatoes since it's so close to the border, and apparently all the fries are exceptionally good everywhere you go. So we pull up to Ron's, get our food, and park to eat it. The service was fairly quick and we got all of our food out at a nice speed. I decided to get an order of fries, a cheese burger, and some chicken strips with barbeque sauce. The fries were definitely a highlight. They were perfectly cooked, had great flavor, and were just a solid fry overall. My chicken strips were super juicy, had great flavor, and were definitely even better with that delicious barbeque sauce they give you. My burger was solid too, but after trying a bite of my friends Big R, I wish I had gotten that instead. The sauce they put on the Big R was terrific. If you remember having Dairy Queen years ago when they would do the 5 Buck Lunch, it tasted exactly like Dairy Queen when it was in it's prime. So I would definitely recommend coming back here. Now remember, it's a fast food place. I give it 5 stars because it has very tasty and well cooked food, they're quick, it's affordable, and it's a single location as apposed to a big chain fast food. It's no sit down burger joint, but or a fast food, I was very happy with what I got. I definitely can't wait to come back to Spokane, and I will definitely be hitting up Ron's when I want something quick. read more

First time trying this place. Walked in and nothing but teenagers running this place. Girl taking my order had her ear pod in and was speaking so quietly couldn't hear her. The crew of 3 teenage boys in the back blasting some hardcore rock music while flipping patties and texting while touching food. On the bright side, I didn't get a hair in my burger. Never again. Oh and food was shit obviously read more

Some people like heavy breading on their fish but I prefer Panko which is what it used to be here. Great shakes but won't return as long as I have to look for the fish under the excessive breading. read more

Quality food, quality service at a quality price. The biggest issue was the bathroom was disgustingly dirty. I don't think it has ever been cleaned properly. I don't know who taught the people to clean that bathroom because it was super gross. Sandpaper, vinegar, and window cleaner should make it sparkle. I recommend 100 grit to remove the scum from the toilet, sink, and floor. Powered Laundry soap should also be used. Bathrooms need to be one inch clean. This bathroom was a 20 footer clean job. I could be 20 feet away, and it would still be filthy. It was that bad. read more

I stopped in at Ron's just by chance after driving all day in Montana and Idaho. The classic, 50s era, vintage sign is what caught my attention not to mention the restaurant building. So, being an out of towner from the Chicago (IL) area, I thought I'd give it a shot for dinner. I decided to try their fish chips along with their clam strips. The fish chips, made from Pacific caught cod, were amongst the best I've ever had. Really tasty with not a hint of a fishy taste. The fries were good. Nothing special, but still very acceptable for the meal. The fried clams were ok. I'm not saying they're bad but in comparison to fried clams from the New England east coast, which I've had quite a bit, these don't quite measure up to my taste buds. The next time I'm in Spokane I'll definitely stop in and order those fish chips again and perhaps even try one of their hamburgers too. read more

I love to leave a picture of my food in my reviews. Unfortunately it was way too good and we ate it way too fast. Best burger from a fast food restaurant in the surrounding area! Every time I choose to go through the drive-thru at Ron's, They never can remember what I ordered, despite having said it slow and clear at the intercom. They have attitudes, not friendly, never smiling and I'm pretty convinced they all hate their jobs. It shows. If it weren't for the fries being the best in town I wouldn't even bother. read more

STAY AWAY!! They seem to hate m their customers! I was in at 8:40 to order a burger and was told that since they close at nine so I could only get my order to go. Shift manager was locking the doors at 8:45!! I was treated like I was an inconvenience to them. Just shameful behavior by a very immature and undertrained staff. This is not the first time this has happened, either. When I got my order it was wrong! The girl at the counter tried to tell me that I ordered it wrong and then they couldn't refund my card. I just walked out with no refund and no meal. They may have been great once but they are no longer worthy of mine or anyone else's patronage. If I could give zero stars I would! read more

I was told I would get 5 pieces of cod and fries for $10 I only received 4 and they were super small about the size of a quarter! And not to mention when I sat down with my family to eat in the lobby it was filthy like it hasn't been cleaned in awhile. I had a very interesting experience at Rons. First, I chose to eat here because I wanted something quick but not a chain. When I walked in, the restaurant was dirty and outdated and it seemed like every customer was retired, however the service was fairly good. Things went downhill when I received my food however. The milkshake was so bad it was an embarrassment to cows. The chicken tenders were almost $12 for six tenders and fries. Extremely overpriced and the tenders had virtually no redeeming qualities. The fish sandwich was dry and plain. The fries were average I would say. And the Big R burger was actually pretty decent, although nothing too special. Overall my visit to Rons was a mixed bag, but the bad was worse than the good and I would never return. read more

I stopped into Ron's today craving a 9 piece prawns and fries dinner. I most always have this for a special treat to myself. In past orders I have received the prawns over done. When I placed my order today I asked the person taking my order if she would ask the cook to not overcook the prawns because it has been an issue in the past. I was promptly confronted with an unpleasant, "of course." I was the only patron in the restraint at the time. Leaving my order as the only order being prepared. After a short wait I received a cold attitude, "your orders ready." After approaching the counter I was surprised to see 9 very well done prawns over what I would consider a small order of fries. I stood there looking at the meal contemplating how to complain. The person walked up and said, "Is there a problem?" I asked, "did you ask the cook not to overcook the prawns for me?" She glared at me and said, "Yes, I asked!" I looked at the very dark blown overcooked prawns and started to get angry because of the way I was being treated and the condition of my meal. I left the prawns and fries on the counter. I felt my anger building so I chose to promptly leave the Drive-in before subjecting myself to any further negative customer service and disrespectful attitude. I drove to Taco Bell and had dinner. They were nice! read more

This local hamburger place looks as if it has been here for a long time. I ordered the fish sandwich, hold the cheese, and shared a large order of fries. The fish sandwich, which claimed "Icelandic Cod," was tasty and definitely filling, plus a great price at under $3. The bun was also soft. Fries were just OK, and we mixed the tartar sauce with ketchup--not the best tartar sauce that I've tasted but acceptable. Plenty of space to have a group get-together. Lots of parking. read more
