Great atmosphere and lots of outdoor seating along with cozy interior tables. Extensive cocktail and craft beer menu along with plenty of non-alcoholic beverages. Ordered 2 apps, steak and fries and brussels. Both were very good. I highly recommend the steak and fries. The steak was so tender and flavorful and the fries had a three cheese sauce and balsamic glaze that was to die for. For the main I ordered the Western Burger. American wagyu beef with thick cut bacon, cheddar cheese, onion rings, bbq sauce and the sauce that made this a great burger was the habanero aioli. The kick was just right. Not too hot but you still felt it. Other items on the menu included ribeye steak, pork chops, chicken piccata and several salads that sounded delicious. Service was excellent. They stayed right on top of things and handled every request without anything forgotten. I highly recommend Craft & Gather if you're looking for an excellent, chill spot to catch an excellent meal. read more

Yes we love bringing our little dog to sit outside and the service is great, food great atmosphere great!

Went with a group of coworkers. The porky fries were underwhelming and lacked salt. For an entree, I ordered the pork chop. It was good, but the value for the cost was not there. Service was excellent. EDITED TO ADD: I would never order the popcorn. We observed kitchen staff popping food (carrots?) in their mouths while cooking and a female server reaching in and grabbing popcorn and eating it, then immediately carrying the bowls of popcorn outside to customers. read more

We were instantly greeted and seated without wait right before the evening rush. We were happy with the local pilsner and espresso martini were very good. The miso black cod was sweetly flavored, flakey and moist. The ribeye medium well was cooked exactly how I wanted it. Our waiter was very attentive and very nice. Ample seating, tvs for entertainment, not too noisy. Low lights set a relaxing mood. Loved our experience, read more

The good and service was good. Not great but ok. But the place is PAINFULLY loud. Way too many people in too small a building. It was a wine tasting night so that may have had something to do with it. read more

Tried, and tried to like this restaurant as it is a great location and the patio etc is awesome. Unfortunately the food is not. Limited options and none that are healthy. Will pass but with regrets because it could be so good. Multiple times when we did go to Craft and Gather the food service was inconsistent. read more

The presentation was adequately done. The burgers were cooked over medium and the server did not inquire as to the preference to desired cooking temperature. The beverages were good, a bit high in price but it seems Washington is that way. The server was attentive and seemed to get the job done quite well.. The setting was comfortable and other than a bit breezy, nice. read more

This was a stop for our family while we were in town for a family reunion. They worked very smoothly at preparing a table for all 8 of us. Their electronic wait list was very convenient and the host was very attentive at making sure there was proper seating for all of us as we needed sturdy chairs for our elderly guests. The food was very good and I wish they weren't out of the bacon fat popcorn as I had wanted to try it! The ability to sit outside with everyone was so nice and helped us create a great memory with all our family. My husband said the Cuban was delicious and I enjoyed the tri tip steak. Would come again if it wasn't so far from home. read more

The good: nice service, friendly and helpful. Food was good, not exceptional, but good. The bad: bathroom smelled like mold, I'm guessing just old ran down building. Then, $12 for a kids meal!!!! And an extra $5 for a kids drink!!!!! Never again! There are no prices listed on kids menu, and drinks are right to the side of the menu. Does not say not included, and again no prices... ugh! Husband ordered salad with his sandwich and LITERALLY 5 leafs of spring mix came out. So skimpy. Prices were high here, especially for the small portions. Location: out in the middle of no where. We will not return unfortunately. read more

WE stopped in for Happy Hour (t-f 3-5) and grabbed some apps and drinks. We were immediately greeted and promptly sat. This place is the clubhouse of the old Painted Hills Golf Course, and it has been 100% transformed into a chic, modern gastropub. Check it out during the late spring and summer season for a raucous and lively patio scene. read more

To start with, I've been going here countless times over the past 12 months. On average, probably 3 times a month over this period of time. However, recently the service, food quality, portion sizes, and prices have gone drastically downhill. I've turned a blind eye to this on previous visits because ultimately I wanted the business to succeed through their seemingly difficult economic struggles. Today after our meal, my family and I decided this was our last visit. I could ignore the fact that our waiter did not take our order for about 15 minutes after being seated. I could ignore that our drinks were not served until our food came out. What I could not ignore was that my children's chicken tenders came out still frozen in the middle. Gross! First of all, wtf are they doing reheating frozen tenders to begin with? Second, they can't even reheat them to an acceptable temperature before serving them? We sent the plate back, and got a replacement plate of tenders cooked to the SAME cold temp in the middle. We had enough and asked to speak to the owner. When he came out he was argumentative and defensive about the situation. We refused the replacement plate and asked him to send it back to the kitchen. He took it away, and unexpectedly came back moments later with the plate of chicken. This time there was a meat thermometer stuck into the chicken, and he started arguing with us about how they were cooked properly. Mind you, this chicken was cold on the inside to the touch. We were completely embarrassed by this situation, and quite frankly more embarrassed by the behavior of the owner. See ya C&G, was nice knowing ya. read more

Craft & Gather has a great location and vibe, but unfortunately the food and service really missed the mark. The patio is fantastic: spacious, well-shaded, and right on the driving range with a nice yard area. It's the kind of place you want to hang out at. I will return for this reason alone. But the food? Definitely felt like it came straight from the freezer aisle. Soggy fries, bland flavors, nothing fresh or memorable. Service was just as underwhelming. It was so unclear what to expect that we honestly thought it was self-service. We got our own silverware and napkins, only to later be told we weren't supposed to... but they still never brought any to our table. Great setting, but the basics, food and service, need serious improvement. read more

We love this place. The food is always good. The French dip and Cubano and the chef's kiss. The happy hour is good. Bartenders are friendly.

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon on the patio. At happy hour we enjoyed spicy Rita's, bacon fat popcorn and the summer burrata. I wouldn't get the popcorn again, it was decent popcorn but only slightly bacony and not worth even the happy hour price for me. The lamb burger and fried chicken sando were perfectly cooked though and we really enjoyed the tangy goat cheese topping on the lamb burger. Our server was pleasant and there whenever we needed her. 4 stars is for QR code menus and underripe peaches served on the burrata app. read more

A Crafty Place to Gather! Nestled on the outskirts of Spokane Valley is the local gathering place known as Craft and Gather. A pub, a craft beer sanctuary, a restaurant and a place for kids to eat make Craft and gather a great place for everyone to enjoy. On a recent visit to the Spokane Valley area, I had a chance to eat and drink here and I had an almost perfect experience. The place was almost full on a Sunday night with some people there to drink and there for dinner and drinks. On the TVs near the bar, you could watch hockey, football or baseball games. I was sat fairly quickly at a high top near the bar and my server came to my table within a few minutes. She helped me to choose some local craft beers to try and helped me select food for my dinner. I tried their version of Burrata which came with a healthy-sized portion of soft cheese, oil-drizzled tomatoes and big slices of locally sourced toasted bread. Next up was my main course a curried chicken breast made with tender and juicy chicken breasts with a mild curry flavour. A very nice and not too overpowering dish to enjoy with a couple of local selections. There was a timing issue with my food as my main course came to the table only minutes after the burrata was served. Other than that Craft and Gather is a great place to enjoy good beer and enjoy great food. read more

Nice atmosphere on the outdoor patio. Service was lacking for a busy Sunday afternoon. Just a FYI.... Their advertisement for "$12 Burger Sunday" only pertains to the basic cheeseburger. Almost our whole table got burgers and all were $20 not $12. After questioning it, all that was said was sorry. If you're going to advertise a daily special make sure to add the specifics. read more

Amazing food and great ambiance! Just be sure to come early as it fills up quick. I don't think they do reservations but I may be wrong.‍ It's definitely worth a try. read more

We were able to be seated right away but it took our server (the bartender) some time to get to us. It was a Sunday and they were fairly busy. We ordered drinks - vodka tonic, huckleberry drop, whiskey on the rocks, and a beer. All were good. We ordered a cheeseburger with a side salad. The (good) cheeseburger was served with a terrible looking bun. I asked for it to be replaced, which they did, no problem. The salad was fresh and the blue cheese dressing tasted house made. One of us ordered the steak bites with fries. It was strange and not what was expected. The steak had been cut into quite small pieces and laid over tepid fries and topped with the sauce. We asked for fresh fries and they apologized and delivered them. The *star* was the wings! Fantastic! Large, crisp and absolutely delectable. Ambience? Inside it was quite noisy. It was raining or we would have asked to be seated outside. read more

Such an amazing find. Located at the old Painted Hills Golf Course is this fun spot with a beautiful outdoor space and driving range. A friend and I met up for dinner and sat outside to enjoy a beautiful spring evening and the lovey scenery. We started with the bacon fat popcorn and porky fries. Absolute deliciousness! The fries came topped with seasoned pulled pork, white cheddar, and pickled jalapeños. We each had one of their signature cocktails, The Huckleberry. Made with local huckleberry vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup, and cayenne. Perfect starters. For the entree I had the vegetable risotto with shrimp. Hands down THE best cheesy risotto I have ever had. I saved some for leftovers. My friend had the Steakhouse Burger and she couldn't stop raving. It came with bleu cheese, smoked bacon, fried onion, and ancho-chile sauce. It looked wonderful. Overall a great evening at a great location. I will be back! You should check it out too! read more

Use to be good, way to salty even if you ask for no salt. Menu is very limited which is great if you do everything good, not the case! Service very poor, even if you have made reservations and specifying the amount of people and the area you need to be in because of children. Not sure what happened but very disappointing over and over again, won't recommend or go back! Someone with experience should buy it! Such great real estate with no vision for great food!!! read more

This a wonderful establishment. They are located in the valley but well worth the drive if you aren't from the area. The resturaunt is in a secluded area with a great outdoor patio. The outside patio area has a few heaters and some yard games like corn hole. They are still serving customers during the pandemic. Masks to enter are required. They may be taken off when you consume food and drink. Inside is great. Very cozy and homy. The menu is great and has not too many option that it is overwhelming but not too little that there may be nothing you want. The lamb burger I ordered was phenomenal. The meat tasted so fresh that I swear they must be raising their own lambs in the back. The burger was so juicy and full of flavor. The fries were also great. They have their own house aoli which was wonderful. I cant remember who our server was but he was a gem. Very attentive to our table and very sweet. Had lots of knowledge of the menu and was quick. Overall, impressed with this place and can not wait to be back. read more

This place definitely feels like a neighborhood spot that's beloved by the locals, as lots of folks inside seemed to know each other. And why wouldn't they love it? Upscale yet casual, with good food and plenty of beer on tap, it's a bit of an oasis in an area that's a little dry for good gastro pubs. It's a perfect spot for a date night, hanging out with friends or even playing cornhole on the set they have on the back patio. Lamb burger was tasty ; cooked to a perfect medium and with a delicious mustard sauce. Red onions and cucumber added a nice crunch. A little heavy on the herbed cream cheese, but overall great, and something I would order again. 4 rating overall, but definitely 5 star service. My server, Heidi, was awesome. Helpful, friendly and funny, she did a great job. This is an converted club house to a long gone golf course. It's not level with the highway and is easy to miss, so pay attention. Massive parking lot though. Based on the quality of the place, I would guess you will see plenty of cars out front. read more

Yes! 100 times yes! The food here is spectacular. The service is amazing! Great beer selection. The bathrooms are even nice! Location is a bit out of the way. I had the summer salad and we had cheeseburgers and also the Cubano sandwich. Topped it off with a piece of giant chocolate cake that was probably one of the best I've ever had. I finally got to experience this place. My husband had been there and mentioned that he really liked it. It was a lovely evening so we sat outside which was nice with the fireplace we liked the "backyard" feel, with yard games you can play. I have to say when we walked through the restaurant on the inside I was expecting a different atmosphere & vibe it was really dark and more rustic than I expected. But the back patio was great! Our waitress was super sweet and did a good job taking care of us. I had that Chicken Piccata it was delicious, I should have taken my pic before I started eating it. I also had a glass of the Geisen Sauvignon Blanc Omg that was SO GOOD! Refreshing with a hint of passion fruit and tropical notes! My hubby had the steak and it was cooked perfect for him, he really liked it! We really enjoyed our evening and we will be back! read more

First time here and was beyond disappointed. Greasy halibut and very small serving (smallest I've ever been served, and there's no halibut under the fries in my photo). My friend got the lamb burger. She couldn't eat it, and the bun was old and stale. Our server, Randy, was one of the worst servers I've had in years. When I told him the meal was disappointing (I was polite throughout my feedback to him), he said he'd NEVER had a complaint before. He acted offended and rather angry. However, I was surprised that he went back and took off half the bill, which I appreciate. Due to that, I raised my review to two star. read more
