A market AND a restaurant in one?? I absolutely love it. We got excited over the fact that after having burritos and tacos for breakfast, we were able to buy frozen tamales so we could have them whenever we are having a lazy night and just want to heat some up. Everything that we ordered was delicious, and it just reminded me of taco places when I used to live in California. It's almost nostalgic, in a way. I am happy we have De Leon Foods here in the Valley. read more

Food - "eh" and expensive Pan Dulce - probably some of the worst I've had, Hard part is that all the workers are kind. The only reason they can get away with mediocre food is because there's no other places around to compete. The food on the shelves are super expensive and a very limited variety of anything. The hot foods are not very flavorful and pricey. What keeps me coming back is that I get desperate for pan dulce and have no other options. Then as time goes by, I forget how dry and stale these "fresh " breads are and come back! Bought some early this morning, thinking I could get a better chance of them being fresh. NOPE! My wife and I both took bites of different ones and all it took was one bite to remember how bad they were. Immediately put the lid on the box... our ride home was talking about creative ways of how we can make them edible. read more

As good as it's always been. Had a hankering for their Rellenos, and grabbed a bunch, with the fixin's. I didn't expect (or ask) for it, but the nice gal at the deli counter put it together with oven-ready tins, and that made it incredibly easy to bake a delicious side to our Sunday meal. Either De Leon's market you visit is one of the safest bets for pure deliciousness. Selection for everything Mex is always the best in our area. No doubt... read more

Hi there I've been a consistent consumer and normally love the backery at the del leons in Spokane but in recent time, I'm now am 7 months pregnant and have been CRAVING polvorones cookies and have been left devastated over and over again for the last week I've been searching at all Mexican bakeries in Spokane. Del leons have truley left me loosing sleep and simply don't want me to be happy and evidently don't like pregnant women. read more

I was born in San Diego and moved up north to Sacramento so needless to say I've had a lot of Cali street tacos.i love tacos so much I found this place and got the 3 taco Tuesday special chicken for 6.99 and oh my goodness. Very good. The tortillas are very small like legit tiny tacos lol but they fill them with a lot of chicken onions and cilantro with lime ‍ and the cilantro Verde salsa is F'ing Aaaaahhhhmmmmaaaazzzzinh'. I'll definitely be back, we ordered 12 more to go lol read more

De Leon's grocery did reach out to ask about the peppers that were the subject of my 12/5 review. The peppers I bought at De Leon's were prepackaged, I bought California and Pasilla chiles. I also bought some packaged spices and chile powders. I discarded the dried chiles from De Leon's. I bought dried guajillo, chile de arbol, and New Mexico chiles at a different store and they were leathery and pliable and easy to work with. Thank you. Don read more

De Leon Foods - The grandkids love these. So fluffy and tasty. - Bakeries Near Me - Spokane Valley, Washington

This is my favorite place in all of Spokane. They make the prettiest, softest, most delicious concha I've ever had.. kudos to the new baker! Plus I think the marranitos here are perfect (gingerbread pigs). My husband loves the Mexicana chicharonnes and this is the only place we can find them. We've ordered rosca de reyes here as well and loved it. If you like pan dulce this is the place! I've never ate at the restaurant side but the tienda/ carneceria is all I need. They make their own tortillas right there at the valley location and they are really good- Sergio's brand. read more

If you grew up in New Mexico, especially in a border village where the food is as traditional as it gets, De Leon's will feel like home. This place serves up the real deal--authentic flavors that take you straight back to the heart of the Southwest. I've only found one other spot that compares, and that's in Shelton, which says a lot! De Leon's is a top-tier restaurant and grocery, combining the best of both worlds. If you're craving true New Mexican cuisine, De Leon's is the place to go. You won't find anything better unless you're heading to Shelton. Highly recommended! read more

The food is outstanding, particularly the breakfast burritos. Service is quick and the building is basically a tortilla factory and kitchen. The prices are high, but there is a large selection of Mexican ingredients, and imported goods. read more

BY FAR THE BEST RANCHERO MEAT I HAVE EVER TRIED!! I purchased 4 pounds of their marinated ranchero meat (carne asada) and I grilled it for a gathering and every guest I had over couldn't stop commenting on how good the meat tasted! Keep it up guys! read more

Never disappoints when you purchase anything here! Great service, fresh authentic foods!

Came in to get some lunch, walked to the counter and was ignored. Then a couple of Hispanic guys came in and they were all over it. I waited and waited for my food it was just one taco. They served everyone else ahead of me because I was a white female I guess they thought I would not tip. I asked were my order was and was treated very badly, they just tossed a tortilla with meat on it in a box and when I asked about the salsa they gave me a small container of tomato water, no tomatoes or peppers in it. They don't seem too concerned with discrimination. I will never go back because this was not the first time, this was their 3rd chance. By the way all those times I was there they were never actually busy, just did not want to help me. read more

De Leon's makes great street tacos. I have never been to any their restaurants but have had plenty of their food delivered.

Ordered via Doordash, so no feedback on customer service. The food was just okay (unrelated to how long it took to deliver). The portions were surprisingly small. I had the verde enchiladas and was disappointed to find both enchiladas were smaller than a single burrito I could get at some other places for much cheaper. Rice and beans were good. This place was just okay. I'll stick with my usual spots - a bit more food for less cost. read more

Came in to get some lunch, walked to the counter and was plainly ignored. Stood there for 10 minutes while the 3 women in the deli stood around and talked to each other, they looked up at me several times during this period. Then a group of Hispanic people came in and they greeted them 10 feet before they even reached the counter. Discrimination and racism at its finest. I walked out. Called later for a manager and was told they were too busy to take the call, told them why I was calling, they asked for my number but never called me back. They don't seem too concerned with this type of discrimination in their place of business. read more

Great Mexican food restaurant inside, fresh all the time, service is great, the girls are always ina good mood!

Easily the best Mexican food you will get in Spokane. The only place that I found to be authentic and it ruined all other Mexican food in the area for me. Delicious fresh tortillas, good salsas and even better tacos. I recommend the carnitas, with a Coca Cola yum! read more

This place was amazing and always is they were busy when I went in and my food still came out in a timely manner. My burrito was delicious and my asada tacos were out of this world. Would highly recommend! read more

Overpriced totally!!!! Many of the spices were almost outdated and the meat items way overpriced. Would not shop there again!

First off what a great place! It's got everything you could possibly need in order to make some your favorite Mexican recipes! As well as unique candies, drinks, and snacks! I love the fact that they have a restaurant in there is a complete bonus! Their service is great! Matter of fact I actually ran into a familiar face when I was there, his name is Izzie, super sweet and welcoming. I guess they have a daily special every day, I went in on a Thursday and their Thursday special was two carne asada tacos served with some rice and beans. Which were absolutely delicious, and their meat portions are very generous! I love that fact cause! It was very fresh and delicious! My friend ordered #14 Enchilada Rojas which were so appetizing looking and their taste was amazing, good amount of spiciness but not over the top. I am so happy with how close they are to my job too, and their service is super fast as well! We were there for a total of 30minutes, that's to order, wait, and eat! That's a huge bonus. I don't go to fast food joints, therefore good and fast food is always a bonus in my book! I'll for sure be back to try some other good on their menu. My friend and I also grabbed some ice cream, which is super delicious you could say it looks like an American version of a popsicle but the taste is much different and so much better. We tried the strawberry and mango flavors! read more

I do not recommend this place the tamales were still frozen and no flavor and any other food at all very greasy. Not worth the money.

What a lovely lunch and shopping experience! I found all kinds of culinary treasures for my kitchen. I recommend coming here to 1) enjoy the quick deli dining and 2) get some groceries. Especially the freshly made tortillas! They are so much fresher than anything else I have had before. They are made with Shepard's Grain and love. It was fun to see the variety of piñatas here too! Beautiful. You can also get a huge variety of hot sauces and snacks. read more

Super disappointing so my wife and I are on vacation from LA and she was craving some Mexican food, this place was recommended to us. First off We got there we are ordering food "to-go" our order was not that hard it was some tacos, two breakfast burritos and some chilaquiles we waited there for about 30 minutes until the food was ready I don't mind the waiting if the food is amazing. When we finally got our food we went Home and I swear the burrito that I got looked and tasted just like a 7-Eleven burrito nothing authentic about it Zero flavor, hardly cooked the cheese wasn't even melted. Waste of money read more

A group of us stopped by over the weekend to do some shopping and grab some lunch. I have stopped by before to get some of their homemade salsa, as it is pretty good. The grocery side has a lot going for it. You will find spices and other food items that you won't find elsewhere in town. The restaurant side is pretty decent. It felt kind of cafeteria style with a lot of items already made in the case. I had the enchiladas and the flavors were good but the food wasn't overly warm. We were disappointed with their chips and salsa. We thought the chips would be homemade since they make tortillas right there in the building, but they were more like they just opened a bag of Tostitos. The tamales were good. Service was friendly. Will have to give them another try. read more

Very good beans!! Coming from SoCal to live here, I don't even look for Mexican restaurants- was told of this place. Clean and nice courteous young lady helped me - mainly Spanish-speaking (but what else?) anyways, the bean and cheese burrito I had was very good and excellent tasting flour tortilla! I'm so glad! AND excellent Horchata too!! Will definitely return when I'm in the area again. Great job people read more

We were so excited about this place opening. But after today's experience I ask myself "why"? The food was terrible. The meat was so dry and mealy, the tables were dirty and the condiment section was not cooled allowing bacteria to grow. We ordered the tamales and the chicken enchiladas to try. The tamales were dry and crumbly and the beans and rice were aweful $7.19. The chicken enchiladas were so salty I couldn't eat them $8.99 .Overall terrible experience. read more

My new favorite place! Two visits now and expectations have been exceeded both times. I have had Mexican food from here to Mexico City and this is authentic and fresh prepared by a friendly staff that cares. The place is clean, well lit and inviting and the store has a decent selection of products. The house made tortillas are available for sale too! Enjoy Had the Mahi Mahi taco special, chili rellenos, asada and goat tacos and it has all been exceptionally well prepared with quality ingredients. Mmmmmm, can't wait to try the tongue! read more

This is by far the worst Mexican food I've had in my entire life.Sorry if yall read this. I really don't care. Chicken mole-chicken tasted like a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store. Mole sauce. Definitely out of a jar. Tres leches- why is there gelatin on my cake? Where is the milk? Refried beans? Tastes like bland concrete. Rebel burrito-barely any meat and all potatoes and French fries. Everything bland. Complete waste of money. I dont know how yall have 4 stars. People in spokane are TRIPPIN. read more

I really like this place. Good Food, great service, and great salsa. I go to the one in Spokane too, but I think this one is better. The staff at both are friendly, but this one again seems better. There's a lot to love about this place; first and foremost the quality of the food that's offered. It's not often that you go into a Mexican restaurant and see a pot of tomatoes or tomatillos cooking over the stove for a homemade salsa verde, but every time I come into this place I can tell that things are made fresh. All of their tortillas are fresh as well. The food here is delicious, always full of flavor. The staff is friendly and helpful. The best Mexican food in Spokane is here. read more
