The pizza is really good here. I am a big fan of basil and I can taste the herbs and spices in the cheese and in the crust. Love that. These aren't cheaply made pizzas so the prices are a bit higher than the chain pizza places but you get what you pay for. The crust is really good, like a garlic bread and very buttery. In my years and travels I've ate many calzones...... THIS calzone is by far the best. The dough had various herbs in it. The dipping sauce was fresh. I'm so happy that the lady at Olive Garden over in Spokane told me about Stateline subs and pizzas. And it's a good thing. I got the meat lovers sub for my wife. Because we're eating off of that for the next day or two. Price point very good, awesome service top-notch. From the minute we walked in the service first of all was amazing. There was a large soccer team party but the service was still outstanding. We came from out of town and were craving a calzone. We googled "best calzone in CDA or Post Falls, Stateline came up first. We found out why. The calzone was amazing! The best we ever had. You must try this place you won't be disappointed. First timer to this place and I felt comfortable walking in. Greeted by a very nice lady who made recommendations and was so happy to be there. I chose a 5 meat sandwich and it did not disappoint in the least. I got the full size and was only able to eat half in the store. I took the rest home and in was just as good later, the bread was just as good later. Wondering if they also just sell the bread yummy. Subs: think New York/Italian deli style, French bread-very crusty and a great chew to it. The half sandwich is enough to fill up a normal person's appetite, get the full if you like to plow large piles of chow or split it with a couple pals. Be warned!! If you're looking for a dry boring sub-sandwich, go to Subway and don't waste your time. These sandwiches are loaded with thin sliced veggies and hearty amounts of oil & vinegar--makes the bread much easier to gnaw on and a lot more taste/flavor/satisfying effect. French Dip: not the boring dry loaf you score from Arby's. This one comes with thinly moist roast beef with a hearty pile of thin sliced onions and melted provolone. The au jus wasn't clear, more like a gravy and delicious to dip. Not as messy as regular au-jus and I dig that. Good job :) Pastrami: Crusty French bread with thin sliced pastrami doused in hearty amounts of oil and vinegar making the sandwich extremely tasty, juicy and fairly sloppy so be prepared with lots of napkins. Our order came with zero napkins. Unlike Greek diner style pastrami's, this one comes with a full complement of lettuce, onions and tomatoes-mixes nice with mustard and mayo. Meatball: standard small meatballs, meaty cheese and marinara---nothing to write home to mom about. Meatballs tastes like Walmart freezer section, the blue bag ones. Pizza: Kinda lame selection of crust/sizes but two choices works for them. Small and medium are sizes available so if you're loading up on pizza slices you might struggle finding variety. When I'm traveling and I have some time I like to look for small places other than fast food chains if I can. This was one of those for sure. It's in an old renovated service station which it kinda cool. The staff was very friendly and service was quick as I was the only one there and just before noon I'm sure it's gets busier at lunch hour and with a small staff the wait probably gets longer but it'll be worth the wait! They make an excellent sandwich and have a nice size menu. I can't speak for the pizza but next time I'm in the area I'll definitely try it. read more

I would not eat here. Several health violations and the place is a dump. Dirty, no gloves, bugs, and it seems like the owner is a hoarder because there is junk everywhere. Food was not good either. The owners son was helping and greased the pizza pan after dealing with our cash with his bare hands, dipping them in a butter tub. We couldn't eat we were so grossed out. My family and I have ordered sandwiches from them a few times, the 1st time they were great. The second time very sloppy with mayo and dripping wet with oil and vinegar. Last night we gave them one more try. We ordered a full sub with turkey, bacon and avocado (#20) the bacon was not pork bacon, but cold, floppy turkey bacon. I sent a Facebook message asking about what kind of bacon they use and why it isn't posted as turkey bacon? The response I got was they use turkey bacon because it's healthier and if people ask, they tell them it's turkey bacon. It isn't listed as turkey bacon. It is so processed and low quality, it has me questioning the quality of meats they use. Turkey bacon may be less in fat but is definitely not healthier! The employee also said "I hope you enjoyed your sub!" When I was clearly unhappy. Then proceeded to say, "well we have 22 other subs to try!" I don't think we will be back. read more

Not in the best location and is the classic "don't judge a book by its cover". i want to like this place. i really do. they serve back east style subs, which i love. my first visit i was very impressed. my sandwich was huge and absolutely delicious. i liked the homemade chips. very reasonbly priced. i thought i had found me a new lunch spot. i have been back 6 or 7 times in the last year and a half. never ever again. it seems to be owned by a husband and wife team. the husband is a nice enough guy. very chatty. the wife has zero people skills. they are constantly advertising for help though i am honestly not sure why when there is never anyone else in there. when they do have help, usually one of their kids (i am assuming or child labor is alive and well in Idatucky) is making sandwiches while the wife does.......whatever it is she does. she needs to be cleaning that dump because it smells awful. the last 4 times i had been there they made my sandwich wrong. today i thought i was paying it safe getting a french dip. very skimpy on the roast beef, the au jus tasted like dish water, the bread was absolutely not fresh, and i spent most of my afternoon on the can. i work nearby. i hate my lunch options in the immediate area. i had high hopes after discovering this place while frequenting the taco stand that used be across the road. i tried stateline subs, but i think it's time i see other sandwich shops. peace out. read more

I hate leaving bad reviews but I rely on them so much when I'm searching for a place to eat. I delayed even writing this because I feel bad for the owners of this place. I called in an order for two pizzas. The guy who answered the phone was nice enough but I asked for just two combination pizzas. He told me several times that they cook your pizza how you order it, I asked again if I could just have a combo pizza, most places let you order combo, or Hawaiian etc. I had checked online and there was no real menu. So he made me pick all the ingredients individually. What a hassle when you just want a combo pizza. They also only have one size. We were tired from moving and so I just ordered two. He said it would be 20 min. Also they weren't offering delivery because he was the only one there. I showed up and ended up waiting about another 15 min. Time enough for me to assess the place. What a dump. He told me that the owner did catering and half the shop was piled high with catering stuff which is fine but the place was dirty and unorganized. Maybe build a wall so you don't see all the crap. The pizza oven they had was basically a home pizza oven, hence the only one size pizza. He gave me a complimentary bag of potato chips they make themselves but showed me the fryer and told me they weren't allowed to use it because the city said they didn't have the proper vent hood. So how did you cook those chips you gave me in the greasy bag again? When the pizzas were done the guy proceeded to drop one of them on the floor. He asked if I had another 20 min to wait and I said no. Got my money back and walked out with one pizza and a bag of greasy potato chips We threw out. The pizza was nothing to write home about. I didn't even eat any but my niece said it tasted like dirt. I ended up going through zips drive thru to get more food since what we really needed was two large combo pizzas ! I will not return but I wish the owners luck. Clean the place up, install proper equipment to serve what you advertise or maybe just stick with the catering. Good luck. read more

All I have to say, Is this a joke. Ive been in hundreds of pizza joints this one takes the cake. The building and interior are an ABSOLUTE JOKE!! Disgusting, dirty, dingy, and feels like something the 'Trailor Park Boys' would put together. I ordered a 6" cheese pizza. Had one bite and that was enough for me.
