The service was okay, we ordered and someone brought it to our table. When we entered the bar, there was a lady on her phone. I didn't know if that was the bartender or a customer. I found out that was the bartender, who told a coworker "I'm getting paid to sit." She was laughing and talking about her vacation. I get that restaurants aren't always busy, but c'mon. She was still sitting at the bar after we sat down. I used to work in a restaurant/bar. The guy (Christian) was the only one behind the counter and even though you could tell he was stressed he had a VERY friendly demeanor. After waiting a few minutes it became apparent that there were many orders coming in all at once. I was very saddened by the way some of the customers were treating him , however he remained calm, cool and super professional. I would like to think that Subway goes out of their way to acknowledge these type of employees because without these types of employees the mismanagement of only having 1 employee during dinner rush during a promotion would cause the company to sink!!!
