Ended up being given a refund because the workers are incapable of understanding what I ordered, wasn't even given my full amount that I paid because the non English speaking cashier doesnt understand American change. I have been a very frequent customer to this location. I have gone back a couple times since the CDC said vaccinated individuals no longer need to wear a mask. I have been asked each time to wear a mask which I refused as I am a fully vaccinated individual. The sign on the door says "Please wear a mask" not that it is required. This last time the cashier asked if I had a mask, I said no I'm vaccinated, and she spent 60 seconds opening a package to give me a mask just to spend 2 seconds giving me my order pick-up. That action defined exactly how nonsensical and ignorant this thinking is and is why I will NEVER go back Jimmy John's anywhere. It's the same sheep-like behavior anyone still wearing a mask outdoors walking by themselves is displaying. If Jimmy John's cares about their brand, they need to make sure their locations abide by CDC guidelines as strictly as they did at the beginning when the masks started. This and other establishments were very quick to enforce the CDC mask mandate but now, I suppose, they can't "follow the science". Any establishment still enforcing a mask mandate is doing so for purely political means, not factual and scientific ones. read more

I tried it out one more time. I won't be going back now. This time, their whole wheat is not a sub it's like loaf bread. They only have Dijon in packets and they don't ask if you want mayo. First time I had JJ was yesterday. I really enjoyed my sandwich and wanted to go back again. I went there today and ordered 3 sandwiches, and asked for a side of pickles. Yesterday I ordered a side of pickles and got pickle spears quarters. Today when I got my food it got pickle chips. I went back inside and told the worker that I wanted the spears like yesterday and she said that I ordered a side, and that's what I got. Well, I ordered a side yesterday and got the spears. But whatever. She told me that I didn't pay for spears. That's fine, I'll pay the extra for the spears like I did yesterday. She told me that I had to go back in line, which now there were 6 people in line, just to order the pickles that I thought I already ordered. I asked if I could just pay there, and she told me that I would have to go back in line. I already stood in line and ordered my food, why do I have to stand there again when the cashier messed up? An unwich is a brilliant invention. A lettuce wrap sandwich that makes me feel good about my choice to say no thanks to bread - although these guys have some super good bread too. I frequent this Jimmy John's drive through when I am in need of a quick grab and go. And believe me, this is one fast drive through. 80% of the time my sandwich is waiting for me when I get up to the window with cars or no cars in front of me. The people that work the order/pick up window area are delightful and funny. They always make sure to read me back my order in a clear voice and are not afraid to double check with me before sending me to the next window. My sandwiches from here have always been picture perfect. Just the right amount of everything on my sandwich and are always put together perfectly. Keep in mind I work across the street literally. It's now been over 20 minutes, I called the store Jimmy johns, guy said it was being delivered, im standing watching outside physically able to see their location, no one is even coming this way. Don't waste your time on the delivery. Jimmy johns apparently isn't freaky fast by any means at this location. Won't be using them anymore. Whoa nelly... one fine sandwich shop... so good that it should be a shoppe. I can understand why everyone gets excited about it. Fresh ingredients, fresh bread, quick service... there's even delivery, or the store itself is open until 3am. On my 2-day trip up to Spokane, I probably ate here about 5 times. You can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches. My favs were the gargantuan (good for if you're hungry) and the beach club (if you like sprouts). AND SO CHEAP! SO disappointed. I frequent Jimmy John's often in Redmond and Renton .... so I (mistakenly) assumed the same food from the Spokane Jimmy John's. NOT SO MUCH. I work at North Central High School. The Jimmy John's on Mission is very close to the school so they OFTEN get my business due to convenience. One of the jobs I have at the school is to be a coach. One of my athletes called the manager of Jimmy John's to ask him if she could send him an email about our fundraiser. She was very anxious to make this phone call but I encouraged her to do it because my athletes are learning how to get local businesses involved, collaboration skills, professional phone skills and marketing. The manager of Jimmy John's laughed and hung up on her. She was mortified and came back to practice crying. Now she refuses to call anybody else about our fundraiser because she's so scared of being hung up on and "feeling stupid." Quick delivery and nice people. The problem is they cannot seem to read online orders correctly. Since I see making the requested food as a big part of their job, and they had the printed order in front of them - it wasn't over the phone where it can be hard to hear via a bad connection - I find this to be a major problem. Tasty, but I prefer to eat what I wanted instead of whatever they feel like making and bringing to me. Particularly when it's a cheaper choice. The least they could do is fail upwards. I have never wrote a review but after my continued poor service I feel I need to. I work near Jimmy Johns on Mission and Ruby and frequently order lunch from that store. So their claim is "freaky fast"--well I disagree. The last four times I have ordered a sandwich I have waited and waited. Today I ordered a sandwich at 11:37AM and it was not delivered until 12:20PM. I called three different times to check on my order and each time was assured the driver was on the way. Never once did I get an apology-nor did they offer any sort of an explanation or a discount. I am beyond frustrated--i could understand if it happened once or maybe twice but not the last four times I have ordered. I guess I will have to take my business to Subway or McDonald's, at least then I could actually eat during my scheduled lunch break. read more
