These guys have some phenomenal sausages. The jalapeno cheese sausages are awesome! The butchers were very patient with us and explained the various flavors and options. Great friendly place with everything you need for great sausage-based meal as they have buns, condiments and beers. Such a great place. I saw a show on TV and they did Texas BBQ hickory smoked beef plate (Dino) ribs on a Weber kettle bbq just like mine. Come on! I had to try it. I tried finding plate ribs in N. Idaho and no joy so expanded to Spokane and found Eggers with lots of positive reviews. Ordered in advance and when I went to pick up on Friday the north store was hoppin', a good sign. Super friendly and upbeat staff waited on me in minutes. Picked up a full rack of superb Dino ribs, 2 lbs of original brats, and a half pound each of teriyaki and spicy & sweet jerky...all in-house specialties. That spicy and sweet was a tad hot for my palette but man everything else was truly phenomenal. Don't go here, I want it all for myself. ;) jk Go, you won't regret it. I'll definitely shop here again...a lot. read more

It's been nearly 10 years since my last review and the store has changed very little. Pricing is still premium, but so is the product. We love the chili relleno stuffed chicken in the freezer section as well as some of the other stuffed chicken options. Pepperoni sticks are priced at the same rate as the nubs per pound which seems odd since you get the less desired end pieces in the nubs. Outside of that, it is the same excellent service and premium products. read more

My favorite of the 3 Egger locations, and the original if I'm not mistaken. They have an amazing selection of wursts for every palate, to include those who like it spicy (me). Love their smoked beef stick selection, as well. Folks behind the meat case are all helpful and friendly, despite how crazy busy it can get. I will say that Egger's is a bit of a, 'special occasion' type place, because you will pay a premium for top shelf quality. But they do some unique prep--smoking/game processing/etc.--that my two favorite butcher shops in the metro don't do. Look no further then our neighbor Eggers! They do have a few locations around Spokane so find one near you! 1. They source their meat as local as possible. This means the quality is impeccable. If you are looking for meats such as Lamb or Wild Game you might not be able to walk in & grab. HOWEVER give them a call & they will be sure to find what you need. 2. Their Bratwurst is out of this world!! Chili Cheese is a favorite of ours if you want to walk on the wild side 3. Family owned & amazing customer service is a cornerstone. Bottom line: I won't shop anywhere else for my meat & my out of town family I think comes only to visit Eggers! read more

This is one of the "old school customer service" places still in existence! Every time I go in it's worth another review but I'll keep it short. They take time to describe each cut of meat, how to cook it, and if you have a smoker grill what settings to use. My wife bought me a smoker grill as a gift and we had it still in the box in the bed of my truck. I backed up to the door and my wife walked to the door to grab a tri tip to break in our new grill. The store had just closed and she walked back to our truck. One of the employees saw the new grill still in the box and had the good nature and kindness to reopen so we could get a tri tip and enjoy our new grill. This made our weekend and it was a small inconvenience for them. Amazing people still treat each other like this. I won't buy meat from anywhere else! Very cool place! read more

This is based on a few times I've been here... Consistently, I've never had a problem with the quality of their meat. Every time I've purchased from them, I've been very pleased with the meat I brought home. This is starting to sound a little dirty... My biggest complaint is that they don't have a lot of diversity of meat. I went in there for lamb the other day, and all they had was one package of ground lamb. That's it. Maybe at their other location, but not there (and they just assumed I'd do the work to find out). So three stars. Good meat, little diversity. read more
