But the picking was still very good and the fragrance and taste can't be beat! We wrote down how much we picked in their log book and paid by honor system. It was such a lovely, small town, family-ran farm and much more pleasant than the commercialism that has taken over Greenbluff in the past decade or two. I am so happy to have found (technically 2) local farms close by and I don't have to drive over state borders

There are also some friendly farm animals the kids can look at and pet, plus a plastic duck race that you have to pay for a duck to use. There are lots of food vendors with delicious options, I def recommend the baked potato... it's HUGE! The pumpkin patch itself is nice but if you're not in the mood to go hunting through the fields, they also have bins full of pumpkins ready to choose from. There was even a live performance, a bounce house, and a giant inflatable slide.. which is a hit with the kids as well! The orchards are beautiful and perfect for taking fall family pictures. They also have a store, they sell some amazing desserts! Service in the stores is great, they can get really busy, so there can be lines at times.

I will say that it was kind of odd to me that they microwaved the roast beef inside what looked to be a plastic wrapper of some sort. Doesn't bother me but was just odd. However someone like my boyfriend would be bothered by that because of like microplastics or something. Anyways, then they put everything in a panini press and wrap it up. The sandwich was great, the bread was thick too so I'm glad I put the extra thousand island. I also ordered the loaded potato salad and the chipotle pasta salad. The chipotle pasta salad was flavorless and just honestly kind of weird. Wouldn't order again and I threw it away. The potato salad was very thick chunks of potatoes and very little salt or flavor, very different than what I had imagined from the description on their menu. It wasn't horrible though and I finished about half. Also would not order this again. Customer service and the Ruben are the reason for the 4 stars, if customer service wasn't good then I would've given 3 stars due to the sides not being good.
