This is our second year going to Walters Ranch Pumpkin Patch, and it def doesn't disappoint! It's such a great place for families esp with kids. They have a wonderful play area that includes a corn pit (like a sandbox but filled with corn kernels, the kids love it!), a fun hamster wheel they can run in, and a pallet maze that's pretty legit. There are also some friendly farm animals the kids can look at and pet, plus a plastic duck race that you have to pay for a duck to use. There are lots of food vendors with delicious options, I def recommend the baked potato... it's HUGE! The pumpkin patch itself is nice but if you're not in the mood to go hunting through the fields, they also have bins full of pumpkins ready to choose from. There was even a live performance, a bounce house, and a giant inflatable slide.. which is a hit with the kids as well! The orchards are beautiful and perfect for taking fall family pictures. They also have a store, they sell some amazing desserts! Service in the stores is great, they can get really busy, so there can be lines at times. read more

We had a fun day at Walter's Fruit Ranch. We were in Spokane Valley visiting friends and they recommended Walter's as their favorite. We arrived around 10 am and it wasn't too crowded. Took a ride out to pick red globe peaches and golden delicious apples. Both were fantastic. We also loved browsing in their shop and picked up apple butter for gifts. The vibe is relaxed and they also have a cafe for beverages or food. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. read more

We have been to this ranch several times now to pick fruit and purchase other farm items. We really love their pies. This last trip, we decided to have breakfast in their restaurant. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon and my boyfriend had the same but with sausage. My daughter had pancakes. The food was awful. This would easily be a 1 star review if the fruit picking and pies weren't part of this establishment. The bacon tasted gross and not fresh. The sausage was the same. The English muffins were dry and hardened. Luckily we had small packets of ketchup available to choke this meal down. Pancakes were fine for my daughter. Pretty disappointed with this breakfast and do not recommend you waste your money on it. read more

We had a really fun day going out to Greenbluff to pick peaches. We went on a Thursday so it wasn't so busy. Rode the tractor pulled wagon out to the peach trees. We were the only ones on the wagon. Oh my goodness, we had some fun finding the right peaches and sampling some juicy ones we accident scratched the skins on. ( didn't want to waste them) I feel it was a bit pricy compared to getting them in town but for the picking experience it was fun. My advise is that if you are planning on canning them this is way too expensive. Pick them up at local fruit stand in town. read more

The orchard was closed sadly. All they had for fruit was pre picked peaches, nectarines, and cherries that weren't from this orchard. The nectarines were delish! So juicy and sweet. If we were here in a different month we probably would have enjoyed more. read more

Free parking and admission. Nice location. You pick apples and pumpkins or purchase what has already been harvested. Ambiance was good. Activities for the kids, too. Just bring money with you. Maze, wagon ride, farm themed play area- extra cost. Corn dogs were way overpriced at $8 each. Oily and greasy for flavor but the he hot dog itself was tasteless. Chicken or cheap crap hot dog. For that price, make it a beef dog with some flavor. No cards - just cash for the dogs and doughnuts. Picnic tables so do what others do and bring your own quality sandwiches and such. The fruits that are grown at Walters Fruit Ranch are absolutely amazing! With fresh strawberries, apples, pears, raspberries, and more there is something for everyone. All of the fruits are incredibly juicy and flavorful - you can't go wrong with anything you pick! After picking your own fruit you can purchase pre-picked items or jams right from the farm store. Visited over the weekend with my kids and some relatives from out of town. Nice menu with burgers, sandwiches, baked goods, and ice cream. Very friendly staff. Nice outdoor seating area and there was even a live band to listen to and enjoy. Kids loved the little goat area and the maze made out of pallets. Stop it with the foul language! Following a visit to an amazing new yarn store near by I decided to stop by and maybe get my sugar pumpkins for canning. While in the store the owner, who seemed pretty cranky I was there, went upstairs then soon hung over the rail and let out a string of cuss words. Enough. In my opinion, nothing compares to Walter's! It's the best U-pick orchard. Super pretty, nice staff, great little shop and cafe. The frozen pies are to die for and they have just about every flavor you could ever want. (I suggest the crumb apple pies). Came here in the fall and picked the tastiest apples, came here in the summer and picked the juiciest peaches. Super cute photo spots, they drive you around in this wagon and the drivers tell you where and how to pick. They have a Pumpkin patch in the fall with tons of options. read more

Our family has been going to Walters Fruit Ranch for over 30 years! I cherish the many memories we have made!! We are going on four generations of visiting Walter's every fall. My Mother went with us girls and all our kids (her grandkids) until she was no longer with us. My sister and I carried on the tradition with our children for years. As our children grew and had families of their own, we had to go separately as families because we were such a big group. The tractor out to pick apples has been a highlight through all the years! I cherish every memory as my kids, nieces, nephews, and now grandkids picked the beautiful apples off of the trees. Not every years has been good picking! But, we enjoyed it all the same!. This is such a gem in Greenbluff! There are a lot of choices for fruit picking, but I like Walter's the best. They have a variety of apples (honey crisp, McIntosh, fuji, etc.), and staff will explain to you how to identify each tree, as well as the proper picking process. They offer boxes and bags for your apples. There are also peaches, pumpkins, and sunflowers (and maybe more?) on the property, so it's not only apples! In addition to the fruit, there are a lot of family fun activities. They have a petting zoo, small rides, a maze for kids, food/drink stands, live music, and a really wonderful shop with all kinds of amazing options. We stocked up on the fresh apple cider, and even though it is on the pricier end, it is completely worth it! There is also an inside cafe and even wine tasting. DON'T order the food! $9 (plus tip) veggie sandwich consisted of the the toppings you put on a burger (store bought slice of tomato, slice of onion, 2 pickles and a leaf of lettuce between 2 slices of white bread). NO mayo, mustard, etc. The gal at the counter pointed to the little condiment packets at the bar if I wanted anything. My friend ordered a $7 grilled cheese. BOTH were the saddest sandwiches we could have imagined. We should have taken a photo! We are not picky eaters. We were both stunned at the lack of quality and the price attached. This was such a fun experience for my boyfriend and I! I looked into the Greenbluff area in hopes of going apple picking, but the season we came during (early September) was a bit too early for apples. Instead we decided on peaches and chose Walters sort of randomly. We went on a Saturday around 4 and it wasn't too busy. We had the tractor ride to ourselves and the staff were so friendly and approachable. They answered all of our questions and gave us great tips on how to choose the best fruit. The peaches we picked were so delicious and super affordable. Though they were more firm than I personally like, the taste was some of the best I've ever had. After we picked our peaches and rode back, we checked out and stopped by the little restaurant attached next door. We shared a slice of the peach huckleberry pie and had our minds blown. The pie is a must try if you're here! I definitely recommend stopping by here for a fun weekend trip or date. It was a different experience than what we usually do and the affordability was a huge plus for two broke college students. Came back up for my annual visit and I had a great experience here. They didn't have pumpkin donuts available today, but that was totally okay because they had amazingly friendly staff and delicious u-pick apples. We took a ride on the Fruit Loop Express out to the Fuji apple area and was able to again enjoy the fresh apples (1.49 lb). They had quite a large selection of sauces and dips as well as other gift shop items. I really liked the handmade wooden kitchen tools available! Around the back towards the apple orchard is a little pen with the cutest sheep ever. It was a great visit for my toddler and he keeps talking about the sheep. My husband and I recently moved to Spokane, WA. We were told by some people that fruit picking is big here. We decided to try it out for ourselves! After reviewing other comments on yelp and browsing Walter's Fruit Ranch online, I convinced my husband that we try it out. We have never picked fruits before so this was definitely a great first time experience. Based on several reviews they recommend calling ahead to see what is in season for picking. The staff was very friendly. They kindly instructed my husband and I on the process of picking your own fruits. Today they had Cherries and Apricots for us to pick. Wishing we had done this sooner, most of the cherries and apricots were picked. But we did walk out with a nice amount to try at home. Overall, I highly recommend Walter's Fruit Ranch. Several options (seasonal) U-Pick produce..loads of strawberries, cherries, apples, pumpkin patch and so on-always call ahead and ask the friendly staff as to what is available! They have a nice cafe & wine collection, as well is ready-to-bake pies (my favorite). The country store is loaded with canned goods, BBQ sauces, fresh honey-go check it out for yourselves! Went there today for the first time to take my girls and it was not too bad considering the rainy weather. Will never be back. They have a great corn cannon for " fun" which is great until your corn starts hitting cars and came inches from my son's head as we were picking pumpkins. My son is seven month old. When we confronted the owner he proceeded to argue with us because it didn't actually it us, it only came close. And apparently had no problem with it hitting cars... Then proceeded to kick us out while we were trying to pay for our pumpkins and leave. That's fine we will go somewhere where we won't be worried about the safety of our children read more

This place is great. We actually parked our RV there as part of Harvest Host program. The people are very nice. The cafe has nice little menu.
