I am very disappointed in Siemens Farm. My wife and I have been going to their pumpkin patch for almost 40 years. It has become a fall tradition with my family and we have great pictures and memories from our visits. We have seen the price of pumpkins and other amenities go up over the years which is to be expected. This year we showed up to a $10.00 per person fee and free entry for anyone under 2 years old. It seems that we now get the privilege of paying to enter and overpay for their pumpkins. They are doing this under the guise that some food items will cost less and free access to amenities that you may not even use. I was ready to turn around and leave and would have had I not been with my wife and daughter. This is my last visit. Their thinly veiled attempt to cash in on amenities that only a select few are interested instead of charging for them separately is disgraceful. I'm giving one star only because it's the only way I can post this review. read more

Sweet Scented Sentimental Memories this visit with at least two of our three adult children. We came here annually when we were still stroller toting parents. Taking the little people through the Castle Themed Corn Maze, getting fresh kettle corn etc. And even though this particular visit Monday October 29th seemed to be the end of the Season everyone working was as friendly and service oriented as if it were not. After a disappointing experience at High Country Orchard where we had been going for years, we were in search for our new weekend lunch spot. I was thoroughly impressed by the care the two young ladies took of their customers, checking in on them to ascertain they didn't need anything (and when we did, they brought it out immediately). I had the pretzel -HUMONGOUS!!! And the chicken ranch pizza. They were DELICIOUS! The best I've had in a long time. The young lady brought my iced tea out after a few minutes, and apologized profusely for it being "late". Wow. While we were feasting, they were making sure to sanitize all the tables. This was our first visit to Siemers Farm and what I find it is indeed! Finding this treasure was the highlight of our day and we are definitely going to be back. There is something here for the entire family! Wine tasting and amazing artisan pizza for the adults . The pizza was delicious the kiddos and I enjoyed it . They have an area thats perfect for kids birthday parties and a huge seating area for the adults to enjoy their wine and the amazing scenery. The castle is absolutely magical for your little princess or prince . There is an amazing vuew of the maze from the top and a view of the entire farm. There are games for kids and adults to play on their deck and a telescope for star gazing . Pet friendly place and if youre lucky you'll get to pet Bella and the farm cat "Dennis" . The best part of our visit is the warmth and hospitality of the staff and the owner and his lovely daughter . We learned about the history of the farm and we look forward to coming back and visiting again . So if you want to spend a day that you are sure to never forget come visit Siemers Farm . Siemers were the only farm opened on the fourth for u-pick strawberries. I bet they got so much MORE business for doing that on a day when most people have the day off. And when most farms at green bluff were closed. Strawberries here are the sweetest I've ever had in my life! We hopped on the tractor-shuttle and they took us right out to the patch that's ready to pick that week/day, and we just went to town! I'd recommend coming as early in the day as possible to beat both the hot weather and the people. For $1.20/pound, it really doesn't get any better! read more

Seimers has been a staple yearly event for my family. There's always tons of activities and good food. The kids didn't want to leave

I'm so surprised by the negative comments. Granted we don't have kids so we don't partake in those activities, we regularly visit. We were just there again for pumkins and such. The parking is easy, the pumpkins were perfect and the service was great. The young men helped us haul everything to our truck and then took our wagons back for us. We brought our granddaughters there to have a fun filled day only to be very disappointed. We paid to do the Tour thing thinking it would be a educational experience only to find out that no one really knew anything about the tour, the supposed guide was busy doing other work, and when asked for a refund because we were not getting the service we paid for was told to get on our knees and pray to God. Donna had the audacity to call us rude when she was the one to refuse to discuss or correct the matter. Her husband (I thank) refunded us out of his own pocket. to make matters even worse the employees are petrified of Donna. Heading up to Siemers in the fall is a family tradition. But I think it's a tradition we'll be phasing out. This place has gotten so expensive! It seems the focus is on the dollar bill and not the family experience. $45.50 for my family of five just to experience the corn maze for 30 minutes! We easily spent $100 in less than an hour there... pumpkins, apples, tickets for the other kid rides. Got to talk with one of the owners, Donna, and she's downright rude and hostile. I'm not a berry picking expert but from the couple places I've been to, this place is one of the better ones. Some of the biggest 'u pick' strawberries I have seen and a delicious sweet taste with a light citric acid tang to it. The castles and kids play area were not open when I went but I can see it being a pretty busy place. Employees were very nice and helpful and very cheery. Will definitely make it one of my first stops when berry picking comes around again next year. read more

This farm was one of my families all time favorite places to go. We have been going to this farm for over 10 years. Today my family and I were treated as if we were criminals. We will never be coming back. My great grandfather and mother were holding some spaghetti squash and butternut squash. My little sister wanted to go on the slide. My family was not yet done shopping and walked over to the slide to see how much it was. We tried to go buy tickets at the ticket booth when a young lady approached us and demanded the vegetables back. We tried to explain that we weren't done shopping and was trying to get tickets for the slide but she would not listen and demanded the vegetables back. My great grandpa was very confused and had no idea what was happening. Later on we did find out that this young lady is the new owner of this farm. Definitely suggest not going to this farm. I do hope this new owner finds a way of talking to her new customers. read more

DONT GO!! BEWARE! I am not writing this to create pity for myself I am writing out of genuine concern to help save your family from lies and thievery of this place!!! We came to Siemers Farm yesterday to enjoy the fall with my daughters and my family, in the same place I enjoyed during my childhood. We show up and get our tickets, $10/person, including my 3 year old. We had gotten tickets to their "tour". We then ask where we go first or how we get to the "guide". We are just pointed in some hog wild direction saying somewhere in the beginning of the MAZE! We then went to the gift store to ask where the bathrooms were, of which they weren't really sure or wouldn't say( hard to tell which). We then asked again about the guide, when we were told we needed to go ask Donna, she's in the house. We find the house, my step mom decided she would just go in to ask. She knocked, was let in and asked where donna was. The lady pointed and her and so my step mom began to ask. Were were told there would be a guide at every activity. The owner, Donna, then said stop being rude I'm dealing with her first. Mind you she was pointed to talk to her moments before. What ensues I didn't see first hand however it ended with a very rude honor who gives a response there are no tour guides. She became rude and my mom was basically told to leave. She then shared the rest of this conversation of which we didn't see and says she will not go back in there. We all agree it's time to get our money back, mind you we paid CASH. My sister and I enter the house/office(?) because some guy came through the door and left it right open. So naturally we entered and waited. We waited for a good minute or more until donna walked from the other room. My sister politely said, we were sent over her to get a refund for 5 tickets. Then lady then said, okay, how about we not be rude come in, shut my door, and tell me what you really want. We explained that all we wanted was a guide which we were explained we would have, as both my step mother and I had talked to them on the phone from the day before. She became very rude insisted that they won't have one and no refunds. We further explained why, she said we were lying, then when we showed her what it says on her own website she claimed, "I'm the own and I can do whatever I want and I changed my mind." She couldn't tell us her refund policy, mind you no where does it say no refunds, nor on the website. She then escalated, then I began to raise my voice in painstaking frustration. She told me I needed to calm down and I would not speak to her with my voice raised. When I told her I was obviously frustrated, as I continued to ask for a refund to be able to leave this miserable place we were in, she told me to go outside and be angry but not in here. She had told me that the only person above her I can talk to is out right now. So I then said okay were leave but I would like the contact information of the person above you I could speak to. She so dramatically waves her hand in the air and said, "God." I then explained that I didn't exactly think this is how a Christian would handle this situation she told me that if I wanted something to change and to get a refund that I needed to get down on my knees and start prayin'. She continued to tell us how rude we were, to go outside, that she didn't care what she or the website said, nothing." We then began to wait for the police, as my mom had called them, as it was getting heated. The man I presume to be her husband came down to where we were at our cars. He explained how he could get a tour guide no problem, we explained at this point it is to late and by the way we're treated we just wanted to leave with out refund. He was sympathetic and said if he had cash he would give it to us. With which we replied, well we just have you a $50 just give that back. He agreed that made sense and we walked back up to the ticket booth. When the gentleman asked the ticket lady to give him the $50 she seemed very afraid to. She flat out refused to because she didn't want to lose her job. He then was unsure what to do as his presumed wife came out at this same time, yelled at him in front of me, continued to proclaim she won't give refunds. Then I tried to ask her a question, with which she interrupted and said, if you can't shut your fucking trap then I'm not going to talk to you. I then said, okay. Then she said, you're being rude, I will do what I want and your not getting a refund. She then walked away when i started to ask her, again, what is your refund policy. More ensued but it won't let me use any more space! read more

this place was fun but very expensive. $10 for an adult corn maze ticket, $8.50 for a three year old, $4 for train rides, $8 for a baked potato (seriously?) $8-$15 for face painting, etc. it all adds up to be a crazy expensive day even just for our family of three. also, there needs to be a bit more seating. i'm an able-bodied person, although pregnant, but when you're tired and not feeling well and you're following a little kid around wanting him to have a good time, there needs to be a few chairs or benches or something in the areas of the giant slide, the train rides, even outside the corn maze for those who wait outside for the rest of the family so they can save money. i can't imagine how disabled people get around to enjoy the place. there was good food, fun little attractions, just too much money for what it was. read more

Siemers Farm has been a family tradition for years. Some of the activities like the corn maze can get expensive quick if you have a larger family. We stick to picking pumpkins and visiting a few of the craft vendors at their fall festival. Picking strawberries over the summer is pretty cheap and a fun experience for the family. read more
