They have lots of goodies to choose from - over 2 dozen varieties of salt water taffy, several caramels, variety gift boxes, and of course: the Bruttle. It's a soft peanut brittle that melts in your mouth. We were lucky she let us in because their other store was extremely busy and most of the shelves were empty. I ended up purchasing the cashew brittle, and wow--it was da bomb. Super unique texture: soft yet crunchy, and not crazy sticky to your teeth like most brittle. I also grabbed the classic peanut butter brittle, and it was just as impressive--rich, authentic peanut butter flavor without that overly chewy, annoying stickiness. Again, perfectly balanced between soft and crunchy. To top it off, I tried the little squares of brittle covered in chocolate... and they were unreal. He was the spoiled rotten, gluttonous kid who fell into the milk chocolate river in the factory, despite warnings of danger. You can order chocolate shakes if they still have them around. Try the raspberry toffees or the chocolate drops with the sweetened salted almond truffles. Right amount of sugar too, this is not a sugar mill, otherwise no amount of mouthwash can erase the sticky sensation. Will not increase your dental insurance bills before the annual premium is due. Anything coated with tints of vanilla is super tasty. Once you pop those small pieces of handmade cacao, let everything swoon around your mouth. This will be enough to tame the most bad behaved of little children, think Jack Jack. Sometimes their custom orders will have new products based on the changes in different seasons. I know plenty of paparazzi members who would faint at the fragrant smell of so much chocolates. A toast to one of seven deadly sins. Some of the stuff is SOO DIVINE like Apollo's most finely created edible and most perfect primordial pebble! Or the cream of the crop of the many limestones used to create the traditional Calçada pavement haughtily constructed by the first tyrannical ruler who never had to possess the title of a member of a royal household (Mr. Marques do Pombal)! Who wouldn't envy the power to turn SOME objects into Godiva chocolates with the touch of one finger at this rate? It is jawbreaking how this place is smack in the heart of downtown Spokane, I rarely have to drive down to get here. Notice, most parking spaces in the area fill up and you would have to avoid getting dinged badly for attempting to perform the two minute absent driver running motor technique.

(Which another shop in Spokane refused to do) The single scoop was a fairly large scoop. The house made waffle cone was also incredibly delicious! (As a side note to other reviews: we did NOT get any sauces on top of our delicious ice cream, it would have definitely ruined the quality flavor!) The service was great, the gentleman who served us; was friendly and knowledgable about ice cream and explained the process and Doyle's wonderfully. The ambiance of Doyle's is a classic old ice cream shop with lots of classic decorations all over the place. They have 1950's and older, Coca-Cola signs, collectable toys and figurines and Star Wars Toys all over the walls. Oh, they have a very nice little patio on the backside of the store! I thought strawberry, was fresh fruit strawberries. I thought the chocolate was chocolate chips. There is a little patio area, with tables and chairs behind the parlor. I was super disappointed by the ice cream I received. The sauces were overwhelming, disproportionate to the ice cream. The sauces were way too sweet. I couldn't even taste the ice cream. The ice cream was fair, not rich and creamy. I didn't finish even half the ice cream, not worth the sugar high and dry mouth. My husband said the ice cream was the same quality as the store's... but more expensive.
