9.29.25: See's was mom's favorite candies when I was growing up so naturally it's my favorite too, plus you cannot deny the top-notch quality they display. I wanted to get some of her favorites to mail to her for her upcoming birthday and found the nearest See's to me is a little over an hour away. The occasion was worth the drive and surprised to see it was it's own store and not just a kiosk in the mall! It brought me back to my childhood living in California and my mom taking us to See's as a treat. When we walked in, we were greeted and after a while we were offered samples, which we happily obliged. This store was pretty big, clean, and filled with a variety of chocolates and candies. They also offer 2 big stands of greeting cards for all kinds of occasions. I loved seeing the expansive variety of chocolates and candies that was offered behind the glass window. I went with a half pound of my mom's favorites: California Crunch, Dark Walnut Squares, and Scotch Kisses. I also got her a toffee-ettes tin, a mini scotchmallow box, and a wrapped pecan roll. For what it's worth, they offer a handful of sugar free chocolate and candies. The wonderful nice woman who helped me, definitely held true to the See's Candies look and name and represented what See's Candies is all about. She even gave me a frequent buyer card and a coupon for 15% off a future visit. I'll definitely be coming back here! read more

When you walk in you're offered a sample which is amazing! I stopped in there around Christmas and got a couple lollipops for stocking stuffers. Of course I put some in my own stocking & the chocolate one was sooo good. Today I stopped in to pick some up and another amazing thing is that you can buy one chocolate from their counter, two, or 44 if that's what suits you. I bought 4, just ate the dark chocolate raspberry cream and it was delicious, smooth, and just dark enough chocolate. The store is clean and the workers are friendly. read more

The Best Candy ever! I have enjoyed sharing Sees with my family and friends for special occasions

We live just outside of Spokane WA., my husband and I found the sweet quaint little SEE's candy shop on Division. It brought back great memories, of giving the iconic white boxes of assorted 'Nuts & Chews' to friends and family for the Holiday season. Needles to say we walked out of the shop with '3' one pound boxes and a half pound box (hand picked) for me! The staff in the shop were so nice and friendly, loved the samples too! I've always loved Sees Candies. The quality is amazing, my favorite candy shop. Today I ordered online through door dash. Then saw my order was canceled by the store. So I called, the employee rudely explained " we sold out of that, I can't sell what I don't have! It's been a super busy day!" She didn't try to sell me something else, or before canceling my order contact me to try to replace it with something of similar value. I have never been treated like that at Sees before. Even if it is their busy season, that is no way to handle a customer. I was looking forward to treating myself, and instead I got told they didn't have it, and there is nothing they can do for me. I got my order canceled, then I got dismissed, not even a sorry. Needless to say that has severally tarnished my experience with Sees. And I will be taking my buisness elsewhere. read more

It took 1 hour to buy 5 lbs of chocolate Notes: There were 4 people working in the store. We were at the front if the line. We had a pre-filled out checklist for them to work with. So there was no having to wait on us. The whole time they made us stand outside in below freezing temperatures waiting. read more

Madam :D received a box of all these chocolates as the Christmas present from her organisation and so very glad she did .. the choc candies were of so many types each one giving a serious competition to the other one :) The chocolate on the candies was absolutely wonderful and the fillings were even better. There was a coffee one, chocolate mousse type, a few different citrus ones, the white chocolates were with lime curd kind of filling and trust me each and every one was super awesome. As with everything else nowadays what was then, now isn't. I have been buying See's candies for most of my many years. Nuts and chews is my favorite. My recent purchase of nuts and chews was devoid of several nuts or chews, substituted by milk chocolate ovals wrapped in foil. Neither one of the ovals had nuts or was chewy. More like Hershey chocolate in a wrapper for only 25 bucks a small box. Saving a nut or two or caramel with nutty pieces is a cost saving. Increasing profits for Warren Buffet's company at the expense of the consumer. I guess nothing really has changed. read more

Once a year we take my grandma to lunch and then swing into to See's so that she can get a box or two of candies to part her through the year. Well, my grandma is almost 80 and isn't a sprite as she once was. Her decision making takes a little longer and sometimes she can't hear so well. As you can imagine, this could be super frustrating for someone who is trying to put together a box of multi-candies...well, to Larry, who was helping my grandmother today, THANK YOU. You were so sweet, hospitable, and took every ounce of care and time needed to make sure that my Grammy got the perfect box of candy. Weeee! A candy store. NOPE! this is NOT a candy store. This is a world of epicurean delight. This is the BEST chocolate around and I've been eating Sees since I was five. Carnation Company would give employees a five pound box every Christmas. My dad would allow one piece per day and the ration caused the candy to last for a couple of weeks. The mother would, however, take a nibble from each candy and put it back, until she found one she liked. I think I never liked her for that. But I LOVE Sees Candies. The candy is good. That goes without saying. Customer service, on the other hand, not good. As I was finishing selecting our candies, my husband went back out to the car to send one of the kids in. He then came back in, as I was checking out, because our three year old had woken up from his nap and had to go to the bathroom really bad. He asked if they had a restroom and both of the ladies said "no, you can go use Burger King's across the parking lot" My husband said "really? I'm not buying anything from Burger King. They both repeated just what they had said. No "I'm sorry about that" nothing to indicate they even cared. My husband left with our son to go to Burger King where our little guy wet his pants once they got in the restaurant because he couldn't hold it anymore. My husband went back to See's to let them know it was pretty poor customer service to deny a little kid use of their restroom when we were paying customers. Not to mention it's against state law. But honestly, aside from the law, who coldly says "no" to a little kid who is squirming around because they have to go potty so bad?? The ladies were rude to my husband when he voicing his concern and we'll be contacting the district manager. read more
