There is a sense of community when I walk into the parking lot. Never have I felt unwanted or things of the like. This is something I look forward to each week (when expenses allow) as I know everything is made with care and love. I encourage everyone visiting or living in the area to stop by, if you love Korean BBQ the church adjacent to the market has a killer deal. $10 will get you a plate that'll fill you up with a happy tummy for your shopping needs!

Occasionally I will partake at the Scone Ranger as well but it's the English toffee I'm perpetually out of luck on (they did say you can call the a few days before and say you are coming to the market and would like a certain flavor). Their other flavors are enticing too. My mother in law loves the orange cranberry. Fetch Dog Bakery is so adorable and if you weren't paying close enough attention to the little trailer, you'd think their delicious offerings were of the human variety. Granted, there are options for humans but it's intent is to be a great place to get really affordable and fresh treat options for your pets. Plus, their clientele (aka all kinds of dogs) is always fun to watch "shop". I usually get the 4 for $3 little flavored doggie bagels. Our dogs love them! Then I head down to Big Daddy's Honey and I get a jar of spun honey. If you've never had spun honey, I highly recommend it! It is the perfect companion to so many things; donuts, fry bread, biscuits, waffles, crepes, spoonful in tea, the list goes on and on. You just want to make sure to store correctly so it doesn't separate. My niece was a big big fan of the Lush Cotton Candy. It's customizable and every kid's confectionery dream. No candles, jewelry, crafts, or other stuff that permeates so many "farmer's markets." This is what a farmer's market should be. Lots of produce and baked goods. Tasty scones. Surprised by all the fresh, local grown produce. And a guy selling dried mushrooms of all kinds. We bought from all the vendors today. Purple potatoes, onions, carrots, broccoli, green beans, yellow zucchini, and dried mushrooms. I bet the Saturday market is even better. I notified Yelp to update the address as it still showed the old 5th Avenue location. We drove around for quite a while to find the market and glad we did.

She missed the dog, the dog saw the kick coming and scurried out of the way. WTF. The vendor and nearby vendors and market management are trying to whitewash the incident of a violent reaction by the vendor towards the dog. I was right in front of the vendor, when the incident occurred, it was no " putting her foot out" to deter the dog from urinating, if her foot had connected with the dog, damage to the dog would have happened. When making.a compliant to the market service desk, a woman volunteer began to be less than empathetic and started to sanctimoniously and verbally harass me about " knowing my dog" and being a good dog owner. No wonder, I left angry and upset and became verbally abusive. Making me the violator and abuser, rather than my dog and I were abused in a No longer safe space.

My husband and I have purchased 3 trees with in the past 3 years…read more First year, pine oak died. Second year dogwood, died third year Japanese Maple has major fungal issues I hadn't noticed when purchasing. Now it needs to be removed and my Soil is contaminated. We did not over water. We follow directions exactly. We have now wasted $800 dollars at least! Every single tree we have planted has either died shortly after or had serious fungal issues. Never ever again will we purchase and trees from Spokane Boys. We have a beautiful lush and thriving garden otherwise with multiple trees from other retailers with no issue and have been growers for two decades. We are not the problem. So buyer beware. The trees are beautiful but unfortunately never lasted longer than one year. The Garden decorations, fountains and birdbaths are nice and have lasted. So it's not a complete waste.
