Tried out this bakery for the first time today. We started out with a couple of blueberry/lemon scones and some specialty coffee drinks. The scones were perfectly moist inside and the flavor was spot on. They were so very good. The coffee drinks were also high quality and hit the spot perfectly. Service was quick and efficient, not to mention friendly. After polishing off our scones we decided to take home a couple cookies for dinner desert. Came close to noon and only 1 customer was in the place which was good because not a lot of tables and rather small and the whole family came along. This place is located in a residential neighborhood. Cute building with history behind it. We were greeted upon entering. The employees were friendly and answered questions. We got a ton of day old baked goods for a discount and a few fresh items. You couldn't tell the difference on the old vs new. The coffee drinks were very good including their house coffee. Wish we had visited when the weather was warmer as they have an outdoor patio area. Place looked clean and so was the restroom, which they only had one for the place. Found this thoughtful bakery this morning while scanning Yelp for a place to sit down and consume some lovely caffeinated beverages. I've struggled to find a sit-down coffeeshop with good pastries in Spokane. I'm happy to say that this place delivers on good pastries! They are truly "made with love" and great care. We sampled the brown sugar pop tart and the coffee cake. The coffee cake was moist, had great flavor and was nicely caramelized on the outside. The pop tart was flaky and the filling was spot-on perfect! We also tried the lavender latte which was quite good. I've had a few of these in town but this one was superior as it tasted well-balanced and was obviously a crafted beverage. Callie loves people through her food and beverages. We will definitely be back. This is a great place to hang out. The lovely spring flowers on the back patio are stunning. There is also a bike rack and a neighborhood lending Library off the patio. The interior and exterior is well-thought-out with so many lovely touches of design and beauty. This gem is tucked into a neighborhood. We've been hearing about this new bakery and we finally visited today. There were not a LARGE number of bakery items when we arrived about 10AM. I'm not sure if they offer different items on different days. I didn't ask if they have pies or cakes or other items ready to purchase or whether you need to order ahead...I didn't see a "menu". I had a latte (Indaba coffee) that was delicious with their own caramel sauce. I had a molasses cookie and my friend had a scone...both very good.
