Jam Flight and tea for a perfect afternoon chill session
Rachelle B.

The space is inviting and the staff are so friendly including asking about flavor preferences to make recommendations since it was our first time visiting. They were spot-on with the tea they suggested and loved the Jam Flight as well. Will definitely be back and so grateful that they're open late!

As a student, a night cafe is honestly what I need, so super excited to try this place out. They sell tea by the pot, including herbal tea and caffeinated tea (black tea, green tea, etc). The cost ranges from $7-8, and they allow free water refills and have complimentary sugar, honey, and oat milk. This is one of the best values of tea at a Spokane cafe, especially with the wide variety and intentionally placed options on the menu. The staff were super kind and offered me suggestions since it was my first time here and I love tea. I chose the recommended "peaches and cream" tea. I was kind of doubtful that would actually taste like peaches of cream... but it did. There was no added sugar, but it still tasted sweet. The peach and oolong flavors were strong which I love. Also, the dishware is so beautiful. You can tell that a lot of thought was put into the creation of this cafe. This is also good place to study (free wifi, accessible bathroom, good lighting) though there are not very many outlets. There is a small free parking lot next to it as well. They have art events occasionally. I'm definitely coming back here again.

Earl gray tea

Wow! What a lovely place! The art on the walls is hella cute and their earl gray tea is to die for. It's all loose leaf which is fantastic, and I think I even glimpsed one of the staff hand mixing tea ingredients?? Which, if true, is awesome! Staff was friendly and very chill. It felt like hanging out at someone's house, which is definitely the vibe I want when I go to a place to work on my novels. Writers: if you're looking for a cafe to write in after 4pm, this is your spot. Only thing that makes it a little difficult is the lack of outlets. There are a few, but this place gets busy, so you'll want to bring a fully-charged laptop and a power bank just in case.

Good service, great vibe. Loved the selection of teas. And the house made jams were excellent! Recommend the jam flight!

Atticus Coffee and Gifts combines two of my favorite things: a great gift shop and a great coffee…read moreshop. And out of all the new businesses I visited in 2025, this was my favorite. (Unfortunately I literally live on the other side of the country, so before my trip to Spokane ended I made it a point to stop by Atticus multiple times.) The gift shop portion of the store stocks what feels like a little bit of everything. Books, stickers, soaps, lotions, trinkets, home decor, t-shirts, art, books, cards, chocolates...and that's just what I remember! And then the coffee shop portion has a surprisingly large menu. I'm used to coffee shops in stores being more like small coffee stands; but nope, this operation feels like a fully stocked coffee shop. Plus they also serve tea, matcha, and smoothies...and breakfast sandwiches, AND pastries. As you might imagine: this all makes the store smell quite good! There aren't a ton of seats but when I visited with family, we managed to find a couple tables so we could enjoy our drinks and snacks sitting down. Their coffee is very, very tasty - I tried both hot and iced lattes during my multiple visits. I didn't have tea on-site but I did buy some of their blends to brew at home, and they are also very, very tasty. Unfortunately they don't do online sales, and since I was traveling I didn't have the space to pack up everything I wanted to take home with me. Maybe future me will have the chance to come back...in the meantime, I hope you lucky locals appreciate this place as much as I did!

When we arrived, the customer service at the bar for pickup was just as great--smooth, efficient, and genuinely pleasant. The food definitely delivered. The pretzel was excellent, paired with a crazy good mustard that took it to another level. I ordered the curry, and it was a fantastic dish--rich, flavorful, and downright delicious. My daughter had the kids spaghetti with chicken added, and she confidently declared it the best spaghetti she's ever had... so there! Overall, a great experience with standout service and tasty food. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu before giving that fifth star.

Hatch Beaker + Burr -- Spokane, WA…read more Midweek in Spokane and I was not expecting to walk into what felt like a warm hug disguised as a café. Wednesday morning. Doors open. Immediate vibe shift. Warm. Vibrant. Eclectic mix of humans scattered throughout -- laptops open, friends mid-laugh, someone clearly pretending to work. The energy felt alive without being chaotic. That's a sweet spot. The woman who served us? Absolute pro. Friendly with everyone. The kind of person who makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. Easy to talk to. Zero rush. Hospitality done right. We grabbed a solid-sized table for the group while one of the crew made a pastry run. Strong team execution. Now for the order: Iced latte. Almond milk. Honey. My control beverage. My combine drill. It was exactly what I expected -- smooth, balanced, no drama. And somehow... it tasted better because of the room. Setting matters. Coffee absorbs vibes. That's science.* (*Not verified.) This is one of those places you can: * Meet friends for breakfast * Post up and "work" for 4 hours * Or grab a quick coffee before pretending you're not late Would I come back? Absolutely. This spot hit exactly what a real coffee shop should be…read more I had a cortado, and the espresso was dialed in beautifully--earthy, nutty, and balanced. You could tell right away the beans were quality and treated right. Nothing over-roasted or hidden behind milk. The flavor came through clean, and when paired with the milk, it was smooth, rich, and just right. But what really made it special was the atmosphere. This is one of those places where you don't just grab coffee--you stay. We sat, laughed, told stories, and just enjoyed the moment. Even though it's on the more expensive side, I think their attention in making even one drink that you order does make it feel worth it. Plus, my latte was so rich and creamy, which also makes it feel like a more high quality latte, unlike some more casual chains where a drink can be less reliable in taste. Also they play good music- it made for a very welcome change in atmosphere compared to other food/drink spots in spokane that are so white
